This thread is both a discussion thread, and a suggestion thread. My idea may have flaws that my fellow players will spot, but if they check out then I would appreciate a reply from a Dev.
1: Legendaries should be account bound on creation. A lot of people are saying this, I don’t necessarily agree. It would solve problems with inflation, but it might screw over a bunch of people. Suddenly, the gold value behind legndaries just disappears. It would also increase the rarity or prestige of legendaries. If you decide to do this, give a long time of notice, and refund people their listing prices if they have a sale offer when the change goes live. I feel there are other solutions to this problem that might work better, but I could be wrong. But if you do implement this change, please do not make it apply to precursors as well. If you get a precursor as a drop, you shouldn’t feel forced to make that legendary because you can’t buy the precursor you need.
2: When you equip a legendary, it should not become soul bound. It will instead become account bound. This will not affect the rarity or value of legendaries like the first change, but it will be more incentive to get one. This is because you can use the same legendary on multiple characters. I don’t see why this wasn’t the case from the start, if you have a super nice weapon, you want to be able to show it off all the time. The current state either demotivates people from getting legendaries, or creates a much higher demand because people want it for multiple characters. If there is some reason not to do this, I am willing to listen, but if there is no reason then this should be changed.
Example: I have a level 80 guardian, and I am leveling a warrior. I really like the legendary sword, Bolt, which can be used by both professions. If I could switch between them, I would be more willing to invest all that time into a legendary, instead of only being able to use it half the time. I plan of crafting it, so the first change won’t affect me.
If you didn’t understand correctly, I think he means that they get all the way points unlocked for free so they don’t have to re-explore an area just to be able to visit there with friends. I think this would be a good option to have, but I personally wouldn’t use it because I would want the gift of exploration
Necromancer is no longer what it was. It’s compltely different. Death shroud is actaully a very unique and useful mechaning. I play dagger/dagger, and i use a gap closer utility. I can get in, deal some damage, then when i get lwo, refresh all my health and run away. Or use the lfe siphone thing (4) to make cool plays at low health, and barly winning fights. I would like the summoning to be improved, and a bit more self utility instead of all conditions on weapons would be nice, but necro is not an un-fun class. It isn’t a classic ncro anymore thoguh, it’s the legit definition of necrmoancer. Life-mage. Not death mage.
So I just completed this event where we protect the ranch from invaders (i believe it’s part of living story) in diessa plateau, and then the NPCs started repairing the ranch. Not realizing what was happening, I let myself get trapped in this little circle of fence. I tried to get out, but it was impossible. I eventually had to us a way point to get out.
