On a side note, is it just me or do asura armors look crap and humans look the best?

I’m complaining because it’s too easy to break the root and it’s an ultimate skill.

I get crippled and stunlocked via normal skills for longer than I can immobilize someone with these roots, they are useless for an ultimate.

So much of an “ultimate”, crap useless skill.

Why do everyone has awesome ultimates but we get kitten.

I pop them on a thief, he goes invisible, a few seconds later he backstabs me.. What’s the point of this “ultimate”?!

That’s not enough. This should be switched around. Thief should have 10%, rangers 25%, it’s only logical.. I don’t understand.

So the thief has the 25% running boost signet.

My question is, why in hell was this not implemented for the ranger instead? This seems like a perfect thing for this class.

And yeh, on a side note, who knows how to make your keybinds visible on your skills?

So what about the backstab builds? Anywhere I could check some list or something?

P.S. Oh yeh and on a side note, I’ve noticed in videos people somehow make it that they could see their keybinds on their skills, how?!

How do you make it so that you could see your keybinds on your skills?

My asura ranger is named Gnum Chompski and my human thief is Karate Lessons, my black bear is named Racist, polar bear Snow White and the krytan drakehound Scooby..

It’s funny, when I first got the game I hated asurans, they looked so stupid and now I’m in love with them.. I love my tinyman.

Yes, open your character tab and move your mouse over the mask, in the masks square frame in one of the upper corners you should see a box or something that you can tick and it won’t be visible..

Do they use those skills after I bash F2 for the primary one? Or will they use them anyway if I don’t bash F2 and just let the pet auto attack?

Ok, so when I check my pet tab I see that they actually have 4 skills.. Why’s that I can only see one in the pet action bar and how do I see / active the other 3..

Or can you only have one at a time and you have to pick which one but I just don’t know how or is it that all of those skills are used, it’s just that I didn’t notice that or what?

Well, what kind of special would you expect? It’s a fantasy MMO with “all” the typical stuff…

I always thought that those rapid fire hits were separate, like 2k + 2k + 3k etc..

How can rapid fire doing 2-5k hits be worst dps?!

But that’s the thing, from my experience, the fights dont drag on.. All the time, doesn’t matter where I stand, if I’m on the side of the map or in the middle, I get zerged..

On a side note, where can I look for premade builds? I have no idea about builds and I’d like to try out different ones, because I have no idea what to make, all I do is just put 30 in marks and skirm and just pick all the kitten that adds straight out damage or range..

Is the ranger a necromancer / warlock type of class? I always imagined the rangers being the pew pew spike damage instead of moar dots type.. so what gives?

I noticed in sPvP (from what I played so far) there ain’t much time to wait for dots, it’s probably just me but I just get zerged all the time.. I find that popping those 2-5k shots in that short time you have before you death is more useful than some dot that will outlast yourself..

Or am I horribly wrong and there some kind of uber duper dot build that you just pop and they tick for thousands of damage?

Just a simple question.. Why shortbow is so much more popular than the longbow?

It boggles my mind.. why?

I pop my longbow in pvp and rapid fire and I see 2000-5000 numbers on top.. What’s the alternative on shortbow? Poison volley, and all you see is what 200-500? lol?

Another thing with the longbow – point black shot, I just love to send melees flying half across the map away the hell from me.. What does the shortbow offer? Crappy cripple that won’t matter on that heartseeker or whirlwinding warrior?

So what’s the hype with the shortbow?!

4. Also, I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but it sounds as if you think you’re suppose to be good at SPvP, when in reality, you’re not. It takes time to get good at in the game, and using the correct build is vital. Again, go look up some builds and guides and see if that helps.

Yeh, by no means Im pro.. But the thing that got me really this evening is the steamrolling zerg.. Really, I’ve been watching those PvP videos for ages and all I see is the commentator doing 1vs1, 1vs2, basically small duels almost or if its a zerg nobody notices him.. But when I do stuff, its a whole different story.. Doesnt matter if you stand 2 miles back of the zerg, someone will notice you, always and pop behind you or simply you’ll catch the whole enemy team by yourself and get wtfstuncrippledotlocked to oblivion without even being able to launch a skill.. This drives me crazy..

And yeh, whats the point of pvp rewards if you can already buy them for 0 currency?

And regarding PvE, PvE is majorly boring for me, I mean, scripted mob fighting isn’t my cup of tea.. The fact that you can test out any class fully equipped and ready since lvl 2 is awesome, but it also makes it hard for me to pick one and stick with it.. The only joy I find is killing real people, not mobs.. but all I get right now is being stunzerged by armies and my team is ALWAYS freakin losing..

Well, it just so happens I just can’t seem to enjoy the game.. I’ve started playing since launch and all I ended up with is an empty account or with one barely leveled characters..

First of all, if I do a starting area once, the second time it’s super boring for me and I can’t stand it and the problem is, the few races that I liked (human, asura) I rolled all the classes on those races, but when I try to PvP, get steamrolled andkitten I just delete the character, now again back to creating and back in the same noob zone that I know, I just can’t play it all over again (and I don’t like the other races at all).

Now second the PvP.. I only play structured PvP just to try out what the class is like and is just me or every freaking time I try to go and take a base I meet up a zerg of 5 people waiting for me.. What the hell happened to all the PvP videos I’ve watched where it’s always 1vs1 or 1vs2.. I meet the entire army all the freakin time, I can’t even run away, the instant they see me.. 100 stuns, 300 cripples, dazes.. I just drop my mouse and do nothing in despair.

There’s still a lot I just don’t understand about the game. What is the point of WvW if you can play sPvP with best gear and all skills unlocked. Oh and what is the point of those rewards (chests) in sPvP, I can already buy the best gear for 0 currency, so what’s the deal?

I’ve tried almost all classes (mostly just to lvl 2 and then straight to mists), but I just can’t seem to find one that I would totally love. I level a character to lvl 2, go to the mists, don’t know what the hell is the cookie cutter spec and rotation for that class get roflstomped by a billion stuns and I quit, it just makes me rage. Is just me or does it seem that no matter what you do, how much you try to blend into the zerg, you always and I mean ALWAYS get targeted in a middle of mega zerg by someone and then get zerged.. I tried a ranger, I stay on the sidelines, pew pew and yet there’s always someone popping behind..
