I love that you have created seasonal/holiday decor for guild halls. I would really like to see you up the game a tick and let us make “snowden” trees. The “ascalon” trees create a great fall vibe in the guild hall. What about winter? gasp What about spring! Please consider giving us items to decorate for seasonal changes.
Please, can we get a bit more furniture focus and seasonal decor for guild halls. We have plenty of trophies, flags and glory. What about beds? Can we make a barracks? Personal rooms? It looks like you would like us to set up a bar… but you have already given us a tavern. Please open up to more actual room decor.
One more thing… PLEASE make lamp finial drops a bit more frequent. You still haven’t sorted out the balance on drops vs crafting. You’ve gone a bit over compensation on some mats and totally ignored others. This item is needed for EVERY light bulb you want to craft.
I have only gotten better at JPs after 2 years of regular play in the game. I LOVE being able to help folks port to the end of a JP – it has made me a better player. I love this game for being helpful and inclusive. JP’s don’t offer some amazing reward… but it encourages being helpful and friendly. What do you care if a den of “care-bears” camp out at a JP = you are welcome to work for it if that’s what you want to do.
I was also disappointed when I realized this. However, I lucked out in that the existing color of the wings works very well with my characters current look.
It is unlikely that I will use the dye option, since the whole idea was to have the glider and backpack match and coordinate with outfits.
PLEASE, let us sell this stuff for even a single copper! Having gear that I can’t salvage, can’t forge (or if I can, I have to sit around and store exotics until I can forge) can’t do anything but “destroy”. Please, please, please… get rid of destroy. Why did I just do that thing, get that gear, go through all that… to earn something that not only I can’t use, but I have to type out for destruction. Let me salvage for cheap mats or sell for 1 copper! Don’t make it pointless!
Collect Skale eggs for Assistant Chef Victor event in Queensdale is bugged. Skale eggs not respawning.
I see options for PvP/WvW players to get their daily in. I don’t think anyone should be forced outside of a preferred style of play to get the rewards of the day. One of the joys of the “sand-box” style of game is you can find the level of game that suits you …and be rewarded for your effort.
but if you are trying to get a daily completion… a double fractal can be crippling.
Going to try and make this fast and quick.
I do not like being forced to do group content. This isn’t as much of an issue until
we get a double fractal daily.
I have a great guild. But I can’t always hook up with a guild group for a fractal run. I HATE pugging. I am a ranger (auto-hate) I am ignorant on the runs…. I am just learning fractals with my guild.
WHY!? are you enforcing this for daily completion.
I love the option fr group play. But do not make daily rewards based on group play or PvP/WvW. You toss down a double fractal daily… I want to see a Big Spender in WvW.

I have one for each current profession… and hold an empty slot for key farm or new spec… I have so many insta 20 scrolls and lvl up tomes… If I want to really roll something else… I dig up the gold and pick up 800 gems and buy a new slot.
Flat out… This has not been fun. Bad launch. Too short of an event for the rewards offered. Spending too much silver on wp bouncing, for nothing but an end sack of blossoms, that will take playing hours daily to get one large reward, let alone more… sorry, you have a job? RL? Oh! here’s a sack of stuff from doing each of the 3 maps once a day… a sack of stuff I don’t need (no option for money bag). No XP. Not even trash drops. Not fun. Too short. Too little reward. Too much of a hassle.
I don’t mind a challenge, I like them. This is a “run fast, hit it with a stick, run faster, hit this with a stick…. how fast can you port around a map and hit things with a stick” in an hour and a half.
Will play scale? It seems like atm, most situations are group oriented, much like Silver Wastes.
I tend to be a solo player getting together with my guild one day a week. This game has been good at offering casual group options. I am just concerned that too much of the HoT content relies on groups, casual or formal.
I understand this is tricky and a fine line to tread, but there is one thing to making group play accessible, and another to making it mandatory.
I cannot always coordinate with 5 plus folks to run at the time of day, and with the same goals to run an instance when
I am ready to run. You do seem to be addressing it by making “World Boss” situations, but these events seem more complex and I wonder how they will stand the test of time.The only way I can see you maintaining interest is by continuing the World Boss reward system ( and improving the odds a bit) so that more advanced players have a reason to keep coming back.
Otherwise I see about of month of zerg in the front part of the story-line and then everyone is perfecting gliding and/or working on other mastery.
Just really worried about how much of the new content seems to be group oriented.
