Guardians can teleport through walls? I go behind walls to get out of LoS and they just teleport through the wall to me. Doesnt make sense imo
You dont even need to be in a squad to participate….. I never join a squad, unless they invite me on their own terms. Other than that I just look for the tag on the map and follow them around as if I were a part of their squad
The point of the squad is mostly to make sure the boons are being distributed correctly. If you’re not playing frontline, it’s not a big deal to not be in it, especially if you’re in TS.
Of course, but Im just trying to prevent OP from saying " I cant be in a squad, so screw WvW"
I love Power Reaper, but I will say that it does suck you literally dont stand a chance, without Lifeforce. You have to actually build it up, whereas other classes can just use defenses/heals on demand

What is the percentage? I saw a post that someone has been farming them for 10 months and nothing… I have been farming them for 2 and still nothing and Im starting to consider its just not worth it. Wanted it for my wardrobe, but on TP they are 3k and I only have 100g. Just seems quite odd something so basic is so rare/expensive
Im a WoW fan, but you cant compare them. they are different in many ways. However I do agree that the progression to get the armor is absolutely absurd…..
I can get ascended armor much easier crafting, PvPing, or Fractals…..
Legendary armor even takes less time, so WvW rewards are pretty pointless imo.
I was hoping this update would drive me to do it, but there really isnt a reason to.
Are we allowed to ask for Invisible Slippers? Have been farming TM for them, but no luck and really want it for my wardrobe.
Ok, i take the troll bait, because I played WoW a lot and for pvp only. There wasn’t a single pvp season with no terrible pvp balancing in WoW.
Even now it’s just a “don’t try to catch the druid” and wait for the melee to instagib you. That’s why the playerbase is so small.And for your complaints.
Your team mates in GW2 can cleanse your conditions, you have stun breakers, you can get immune to condition damage. You may start to learn to game before complaining.And while WoW was dead at birth with their esports idea, GW2 at least had an ESL season. Go figure. (besides: Esports in an MMORPG always was the stupidest of ideas ever)
Your teammates can only cleanse conditions, IF they are built for that. Most people aren’t. Like I said, this game’s PvP is sloppy, because there are no defined roles. There’s no structure. Just throwing in a group of people all with random builds and see what happens. Im not only speaking of Esports either… There’s no such thing as GW2 in pro gaming. Only certain professions can become immune to conditions as well. Please tell me how a Necro Reaper can? You must be thinking of a Rev. You clearly need to learn the game, before telling someone else to
Also… the playerbase for WoW PvP is not small lmao… numbers matter you know and this game’s PvP playerbase population is no where compared to WoW’s. There’s a reason WoW is in pro gaming and GW2 isnt
You clearly haven’t played many games then. Yes, there is a bit much CC but it’s no where near as bad as other games. At least you can dodge and stunbreak, I can list several other MMOs where the meta is “stun and done”.
You clearly cant read…. I said in an earlier comment that I couldnt dodge, because I was being CC’ed, while CC’ed. Not much I can do…. Yes I can stun break, but there are very few of those compared to the amount of CC and how fast you die.

Left WoW for this and the PvP in WoW is much better than this… different game styles, but in terms of CC you have countless ways of preventing them depending on your class and your teammates can dispel your CC’s too, depending on their class. Every class is the same pretty much, because there’s no customization like GW2, so you know what to expect from every enemy as well. There’s also diminishing returns and CC that breaks on damage.
PvP is just sloppy in this game and there’s no structure to it. That’s the reason you dont see GW2 in pro gaming PvP

Wow has diminishing returns, a lot of the CC breaks on damage, and most silences do nothing if they miss whereas here you’ll get locked out of your skills if they land.
That is from 4 years ago lol…. much different now…
in this game? PvP is a kittenfest, so I try to enjoy it, but can only tolerate so much.

I would like to get legen armor, but no one will take me in a raid, because Im a power Reaper and not condi….

Came across this post, so I thought why not. One thing I would really like in game is the Legendary Greatsword Twilight. I’ve only been playing this game for two months and really wished I started playing years ago, because I really like this game. Im currently using an Exotic GS, but Legendary as we all know is difficult to craft. I could just buy it, but it cost 3000k gold and I only have 100g lol. Thank you!
I absolutely love being a 2h Greatsword Nerco, with a power build, but now its like Condi, or nothing. Even in PvE some raids are now saying " Condi only", which sucks, because I was hoping to try and get legendary armor
Try to record if at all possible because that’s a kittenty bug if it is happening.
Ill try and submit it to Anet. It happened twice today and I still had at least 10K Shroud left each time, so I was confused as hell. Just wanted to ask if it was a new ability, before I contact Anet
Im playing a Nercomancer and as you all know Necro’s get a “Shroud Form”
The Shroud acts like a second health bar, when it is activated and drains when being attacked, or using it.
When I have it activated Im still losing my actual health and dying, without Shroud fully depleting. Is this a bug? Only happens in PvP. I know Im in Shroud, because I see the animation, the buff, and the attacks.
Heavy Armor profession, or lose
I think the problem is balancing. People eventually quit, when balancing isnt there and it prevents new players from joining. Pretty much if you are not part of the meta build, then you barely stand a chance, so why bother?
Example…. Guardians.
My character is a Thief and every time I go up against a Warrior, or Guardian they feel like a raid boss.
Guardian- Non stop blocking, heals, and if I try to escape they just teleport to me and kill me.
Warrior- Non stop healing, invulnerability, and kills me in 2 seconds.
Should I just avoid these two classes?
