Asura is a comic relief race. Basically a walking TV trope. I can see what people like in them but I’m not impressed by them myself. Besides I’ve stopped playing GW2 a few weeks ago.

Another female necro. I tried to make her look like a graphic novel character. Or something equally impressive. It didn’t work out. Oh well. Negative result is a result too.

I try not to spend more that a few hours on one character, thus the overall sketchiness. Going into too much unnecessary detail is my vice, and I’m getting rid of it.

I’ve made some Tyria-inspired digital paintings and thought I should share them with the community.
I’m a self-taught artist, so my works are far from being perfect. Any feedback is appreciated!

I’m a proud owner of a female charr mesmer. Normally I play female human characters in all games but GW2 animation and doll-like faces really put me off. After watching my lowbie thief yawn and stretch for the 20th time in 5 minutes (go take a nap if you are so sleepy!) I deleted her and tried to roll something really exotic for a change.

That’s a picture of her escorting a dolyak in WvW. I’ve changed Sarasti’s appearence since then – made her taller, meaner, and gave her Rox’s awesome horns while trying to keep the original cute-but-fierce character.

Scenario A:
Some Icon: “Everybody gathers on me!”
TCer A: “Quickly, everybody ELSE go gather on icon while I solo/duo this camp.”
TCer B: “I’m supply running to repair that thing. F off.”
TCer C continues RP walk with dolyak as a dolyak.
TCer D&E play tag in keep while in princess doll form.

Scenario B:
Some Icon: “EVERYBODY ON ME NOW!”
2 min later.
Some Icon: “WTF why is there no defender in that tower far far away from my icon!”

TCer C sounds pretty awesome, I’m not gonna lie. What sound do dolyaks make? I could be making it on Teamspeak to my guildies while doin this.

I was defending Bay inner and saw that mesmer lady appearing right next to me while all walls/gates were still not breached. It wasn’t a clone – I’ve been playing as a mesmer for a few months and can reliably tell a real player from a clone.

I believe it was the same black haired mesmer from [Echo] who glitched into Greenbriar after we lost Bay. There was also a FA necro from a different guild who appeared in the middle of unbreached Greenbriar and tried to kill me while I was manning a catapult in that safe spot behind GB gates. I was sitting there for at least 5 seconds, looking at the row of conditions on me, and only then realized that I should turn around, lol.

I’m really, really disappointed. At both the lack of ANet’s response, and players who support cheating by taking part in it. And to fellow Toasters: like I said in FABL map chat today, if someone steals keeps/towers from us, then it does not give us the right to do the same. If I catch you cheating, you’ll be reported to both ANet and the community, with a nice screenshot if I manage to find my PrtSc button in time.

The new Greatsaw buzzing in-combat sound is driving me nuts. It’s much louder than other combat effects, really stands out, plays every 1-3 seconds and often glitches during big battles (sound stops for a while then plays for 1-2 seconds at really high speed). I tried lowering sound volume but constant zzzZZZzzz’ing is still the main thing I hear.
Not to mention that if I have 3 mesmer clones up, each with its own GS, I get 4x the same effect.

I understand that in theory a loudly buzzing big chainsaw sounds really cool. It IS cool for the first 10 minutes, but if it’s your main weapon, you’ll eventually get tired of it. I believe the legendary sword Bolt had a sound fix for the very same reason.

Please, ANet, revert this or at least bring the in-combat sound effect on par with out of combat. That pre-patch soft engine purring was perfect.

I’d love to see Cyrillic support as well. Using English or transliteration when I run into people from my country is a bit awkward.

I’ve been routinely running at full speed into invisible zergs since this update. Today it was a golem zerg headed for our keep. Funny thing is that they usually don’t see me either, so I have time to freak out, burn through my AoEs and escape skills, and run away.

It can be fun but PLEASE fix or revert it.

Enemies in WvW don’t hear you in /say or see your custom emotes. Only simple ones like /bow or /salute work. Pleads will be left unheard.

I would’ve let you go in this case… but you are a thief. :-P
