Culling hurts PVE all the time.
- It makes Orr very difficult. Battles for the temples are many times harder now than before this was added.
- It is killing the fun of the new Lost Shores events, since players can not see each other or any of the DARN MOBS WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE KILLING !!
- I have quit playing WvW because of culling and that was the primary reason why I purchased this game.
- The -only- part of this game that is unaffected is sPVP.
I had no problems in beta or the week this game was released. I do not understand why I am being punished for having a high-end computer.
Why not disable it until your fix is ready ?
Why not put a slider in, 0% – 100% culling ?
Why not disable it for high-end computers ?
Anti-farm code does exist for Fine Crafting Materials

Um, I don’t think it’s actually a code
Originally, GW would put a warning message in your chat window when you triggered its Anti Farming code. I forget the exact message but I saw it several times farming Forsaken. Later, the warning message was removed but the behavior was left in.
I can verify that because my way to make money was to do storybooks. Each book covered certain missions. I would grab 10 or 20 copies of that storybook. The first 3 or 4 runs, I got a ton of loot. On about the fifth run, I stopped getting loot.
It stands to reason, that GW2 would have a similar function.

Only Traehearn goes into the tomb. The rest stay outside, die and then ambush you later.
If you can get Traehearn inside to start the ritual, then keep him alive until its finished, the mission -should- complete.
At least that is how it work for me when I did it and then helped a guild member.

- Log in screen said I was a member of Dread Masters, representing “[]”.
- I was the only person listed in the guild panel.
- I no longer have Leader or Officer privileges to edit things.
- I did not see any influence listed.
- I did not see any guild perks listed.
- Talking in /G replied, “You are not in a guild.”
- One member was on and he saw me listed in the guild panel, but when he used guild chat it responded, “No one hears you.”
- That member told me, after I went to bed, someone on Mumble said that they had become the guild leader somehow.
Did you talk to the two guards at the iron tower first? One talks about getting hit by a flying cow. That one will run over to the cattlepult overseer. They will have a conversation and then the cattlepult should allow you to interact with it.
