This trait does not give fury when using a burst skill. Either it works some of the time or not at all. Possible bug.

Spellbreaker : Long Bow F1

Using Longbows F1 skill on Spellbreaker shoots out a “Combustive Shot” that does a 180 radius instead of the 360 radius that all levels on long bow’s F1 skill is suppose to have. I don’t have any video proof but i tested it out during the stress test and saw that this is probably a bug since all of Spellbreakers skills are level 1.

yes please address this anet, this is definitely a typo i believe. it only gives increased duration not a cooldown reduction on all stances. although speaking as a warrior main , a CD reduction on stances would definitely be a little over power seeing as though 5 second endurepains are kinda long already

I don’t understand the logic you people are using. All im asking is that if we the players are going to be playing these game modes any way.. why not just allow the rewards … that are basically free to anyone.. just be able to keep it? It’s not like its exclusive expansion loot , or something. Its just regular loot boxes you get from fighting. ANYONE can participate in the FREE beta.. so how does your logic = no ? I just feel like people on the internet just want to say no just cause someone says yes. I should’ve just used reverse psychology. Still they probably wont change it but at least i put the idea out there. It would’ve been nice to at least get chests and rewards while playing the beta characters. Don’t know how that effects the game any differently then playing a regular character but ok , if you say so.

Please Please please! if you gonna have this weekend for beta can you at least allow rewards to be saved while we play the new elite specs?! please!? why is this not allowed? We are still playing on our accounts and nothing gained is from expansion. Can everyone agree with me on this? im sure its a simple fix! I just wana play the new elite specs and not have to worry about doing all that and none of the materials are saved or tickets from chest rewarded

I can already see barrier being a problem especially against power specs… which seem to get nerfed every “Balance patch” . So please if you’re going to add this new mechanic to the game could you AT LEAST rebalance protection and fumble(Weakness). Every patch power builds become less effective , at least from a PvP standpoint; forcing people to use condition builds because they’re easier to play and can still dish out a lot of damage.

Mount Suggestion: Fluid turn and about face

This is just a suggestion from riding the first mount, and assuming all the mounts will have that same mechanic somewhat . I feel its a bit clunky but not too much. It’s nice riding around but trying to either make a swift turn or about face , you have to do a complete 180 with out it being fluid when trying to turn quickly. You either have to stop altogether or just do almost a full circle trying to turn around. I suggest making it a little more fluid and make the raptor do a little sliding jump to turn around more quickly.

Why isn’t this a thing? There’s virtually nothing else you can do while gliding, so why can’t you at least be able to pull out a siege disable , glide over it and disable it? Gliding right now is just another useless addition to WvW.

Ok actually… i see now. I see why they did it. Spellbreaker Fullcounter is a Level 1 burst skill, They only have 2 adrenaline bars.. They basically made berserker lvl 1 burst skill cause Spell breaker is level 1 burst skill. so going back to what Little Howl said… They are just preparing Spellbreaker and making it more favorable than Berserker . I see…

It literally makes no sense. and this is Proof showing that they are making condition builds the go to these days. They consistently nerf power builds , now how will a power berserker fight a condition build ? if going in berserker mode basically makes you weaker? None of the traits got updated to compensate for this? And you basically gotta land every burst skill now. So much counter play added in just changing 1 trait.

Why would you nerf the primal burst and make it level 1? The tool tip isn’t even updated either. This nerf to warrior primal burst now makes condition builds against warrior in berserk mode stronger.. You can’t clear the conditions fast enough, you’re better just running core warrior now instead of the elite spec. I don’t understand this illogical nerf… this was definitely not a balance to Berserker. I would’ve taken a Arc Divider range nerf , or adding an ICD to Rousing resilience , maybe even a adrenal heal nerf but to nerf the primal burst… Theres literally no reason to go berserker mode if its level 1 burst.

Since underwater combat is still a thing in this game and everyone is patiently awaiting the new Elite specializations . Will most of these skills have animations or be able to function underwater? With the release of HoT came Revenant. Revenant can only use 2 stances underwater and most of the skills cost no energy. I know its NOT that big of a deal, but it still is something that can be looked at if not already.

Personally I’m hoping they do the full balance patch. The game will be broken for a month and a half but it’ll be fun, honest

If it’s so , then hopefully around that time after we play the second beta test, they will balance the skills even further cause we will have already played the new elite specs too.

So i saw on a few streams about this new “Ammunition” or “Charge Count” Mechanic with a lot of the new elites. Even the Vanilla classes are getting a few changes; Like warriors kick for example has a charge of 3 . So will this be implemented in the next balance patch on August 8th ? I think it would be ideal so we could at least get use to how this mechanic would work. If not then maybe it was just for the Beta testing ?

Well you cant glide unless you are really high elevated.. So im assuming gliding will be good in Desert Borderland since it has so many Levels. I wonder if there will be skills you can use while gliding.. Other wise.. Gliding wont be good for anything but just trolling or trying to run.

They said the first beta weekend is on the 11th , and that will only include the first story and running around the first core map of Path of Fire ; im assuming. Then they said the week after that is Elite specialization testing. I was kinda hoping it would be on the same day as the first day of Beta Testing on the 11th. but apparently we have to wait 2 weeks. Pretty sure everyone or a large majority of players want to play the new elite classes along with the Mounts instead of just mounts and roaming in a new map.

That does not answer what is being questioned here. You basically repeated what is already known.

The FAQ is not clear in what is being questioned.

Hopefully, a dev will clear it up.

Will it be a 1500 range Daze ? +Mug(2000heal) / Bewildering Ambush(1500 range confusion application) ? Does that sound legit? Or will the mechanic change as well. I don’t know but a lot of the skills like Deathshroud on Necro don’t make any sense… since Necro isn’t getting a deathshroud… are these skills going to be broken ?

" What does that mean? If condi duration and boon duration is Expertise and concentration… you’re just saying the same thing twice. You mean you’re changing the name on the item? Im so lost. so Toxic fusing crystals will say 10% Expertise instead of 10% condition duration? Is that what you’re saying?

Fumble/Weakness and Condition Needs Revamp

I believe one of the main reasons power builds are overwhelmingly weak compared to Condition builds is because the amount of boon and condition applications that make power builds weak. Fumble is a condition i believe needs some rework along with protection. These 2 abilities literally render power builds useless in a pvp standpoint. The reduced endurance regeneration and the 50% chance to “fumble” or glancing hits, with added protection for 33% damage reduction. Condition builds are extremely strong because they dont require nothing but 2 stats.. Toughness and condition damage. A condition user really doesn’t even need Condition duration “Expertise” cause they can get cleared off fairly easy, and reapplied fairly quickly. I suggest changing the amount of dmg it does per second or change the damage time it does (meaning burning would burn every 2 seconds.. or every 1.5 seconds) . conditions deal damage every second so compared to power builds unless you can land every single hit; you will not be able to dish out the amount of damage a condition build requires. Power builds require , at the most 3 different stats to go into, that’s power , precision and ferocity; and often times Vitality. Toughness is not always needed especially not against condition but it helps. If Condition builds at least required another main stat so it would even out the amount of damage it does.. Then maybe we can find common ground in terms of “Balance” , which I’m SURE everyone want’s by this time.

Dont get me wrong i love Eternity and the fact that it is 2 swords in 1 . But im just throwing the suggestion out there with all the recent Legendary graphic updates. Would it be possible to make Eternity look even more kitten ? while still including the original day and Night cycle that the blade changes. Maybe the blade looks like both swords at the same time? It would basically add a new skin to the wardrobe for those that wanna have the New Eternity skin, but can still have the original Eternity skin as well. If they dont like the new one. It wouldnt replace the old skin.

This is more of a Quality of Life suggestion. But can there be a restart mission button or checkpoint for achievements? I feel like its time consuming when you have to restart the whole story just to get 1 achievement. Some stories have this , like in the volcano in draconis mons.

I’m really excited to see what’s in store for us on August 1st. Hopefully it’s a preview trailer for the next expansion as well as new elite specialization previews, story explanation about what happens next ( where everyone is at the moment , i.e braham. ) . I really hope we get some BETA testing too like we did for HoT . Don’t wanna push it but a new WvW Borderland would be pretty dope too. Just imagining what they could add has me excited. I wasn’t even expecting a legendary sword from the last patch so that only has me wondering what other surprises they have in the future !

Can we get more player polls and we can vote on future updates? I felt like this was a great idea for players and Anet Devs to connect or at least come to a mutual agreement on future content.

Moving PvP Match starting window

As someone who is currently doing map completion in between pvp matches, that map selection screen is horrible. The simplest solution is to reduce the map selection screen size and move it to the side once you’ve made your choice. This way, you can still finish up what you were doing, while still being able to observe the map wheel of fortune that Anet apparently really wants us to observe.

Also, don’t see the need for the match accept window to inhibit the keyboard. Makes a huge mess when I’m typing a message and that screen pops up. Just seems completely unnecessary.
