Have u run dungeons w/ Druid? I have all day, and yes AC as well, and the heals were not strong enough to help us threw the hairy parts, and its not like the dps helped make up for the lack of heals. As a main ranger for almost two yrs to turn it into a healing class is kinda silly. I have found the only ones that are excited about this are the part time rangers, ones who only play ranger when they have a build worth playing, but from over a dozen main rangers after a day of playing druid they are upset w/ what was done to them.
A ranger with far inferior bow. Rapid fire is about 1000 times better then guardian bow 2. And stealth shot is too. Guardian bow has one good ability right now for spvp 4.
That statement made my soul die a little. Guardian bow skill 2 can deal the same damage as rapid shot (Especially if you run Symbolic Avenger) on a FOUR SECOND COOLDOWN. Not to mention that the Guardian bow 5 skill is vastly superior to Barrage, in both damage and CC. Heavy Light (As a trait) makes EVERY GUARDIAN BOW SKILL INTO THE RANGER LB 4 SKILL. And I’m saying this as a person who’s mained DPS ranger since the day I started playing this game, Dragon Hunter bow is immensely better than anything that Ranger DPS is or has ever been
Leaven, I too have played ranger for over a yr and a half, and I agree w/ every thing u said. The Druid is a joke, not enough heals to make it worth anything , and not enough damage to do anything with. I have been running dungeons and content all day, and can not do anything solo w/o bashing my head against a wall. If u truly like the way ranger plays, make sure u have a lvl 80 guardian for the specialization when hot comes out, because unless they do a total overhall of the ranger, it will still be the red headed step child of anet.
I agree, to play a ranger u need to run dragon hunter, to run a guard run druid…. even guard would be sad w/ the low heals, ok, actually dragon hunter works for guard too. As a main Ranger for over one and a half years, I am again feeling ranger got the shaft yet again. I also noticed that the damage and heals in the demonstration is said to be w/o stats, but I did less w/ stats w/ trying multiple builds, I was no where close to what they claim was w/o stats.
I had I think 3 out of 6 games have at least one person leave, but to be fair it was because there were multiple turret engis “playing”.
Just because of the team comp, people should still not leave, if u stay, and fight it out, maybe u can get better at killing that class. There is no excuse to act like a child w/ a temper tantrum because of loosing.
So far tonight, six matches, three were 4v5, THIS IS GETTING OUTA CONTROLLE with the people leaving when they start to get behind in points. Please its not fair for the side that is the 4. Dishonorable doesn’t seem to matter to most of these people, so that is not working.
I like the idea of the cancelling out the loss for the 4, however, I also see how people would leave right before they lost, so that they can not have it count against them.
I am sure u can figure out another way to fix this problem.
WOW!!! I was expecting some kind of a climax in the story line on Halloween. I guess what confused me the most is, if the whole thing is done, why do I still have that golem eating up my inventory space! Im very lost in this Halloween festival, I just started gw2 six weeks ago, so it is still fairly new to me, and I was extremely psyched when I found out about the Halloween festival. But, now what.
I got my candy corn, I put him in the box, Why is it so hard to find out what to do next, I have had to search the forums, and wiki, and elsewhere on the internet to figure out where to go.
So, I pull out my golem, and he still is saying the same thing. Should I have been able to do " mad king says", and since its Halloween, shouldn’t we be able to kill the mad king?
When I am doing a quest, shouldn’t the next step be in the quest tracker, I spent to much time trying to figure out where everything is, I still haven’t figured out where the “reapers rumble” is, and when and where is this “mad king says”, and where do I need to go to do the mad king instance where you get to defeat him?
Can anyone help me by telling me where I am supposed to go to do the last of the “Blood and Madness” quest line?
three days in a row only fragments!! shouldn’t Halloween events provide some sort of Halloween theme? I don’t have any lvl 80s’ so fragments don’t mean much to me, especially since its a crafting item, not everyone crafts, I would much prefer cosmetic items, trick or treat bags, or weapon skins. I spent all day trying to do the tower to get something I cant even use.
two days in a row fragments, I would much rather a chest, but only fragments! All I know is that they are for crafting (that I cant use since I don’t have any lvl 80 characters), Why would I want crafting supplies for a Halloween reward?!?! I was expecting a chest, or something cosmetic, shouldn’t the reward reflect that it is a Halloween event?
