I could say the same to you wrango, i didn’t understand a single word that you said. The fact that you guys are nitpicking on the analogy i used shows how much you guys can’t argue that not having a pet is against the whole concept of a ranger.
Picking apart your analogy is justified because it was bad.
A Warrior is not forced to use a great-sword. Rangers are forced to use pets, which account for a ridiculously high percentage of their total damage.
Warriors – Greatsword = Choice
Rangers – Pets = Forced
Rangers are not restricted to bows, Aragorn was a ranger. Saying you want rangers petless because you want an archer is not a good argument, because you CAN be an archer with a pet, and being an archer with a pet is even better.
I don’t see where Aragorn factors into this. Should we be able to raise an army of the dead, too?
Sure, being an archer with a pet is cool, and useful; If the pet works properly. Which in its current state, is most-often not the case.
You shouldn’t be rewarded for bad pet management.
Nor should we be gimped after being forced to use a class mechanic that is borderline broken.
I also agree with this suggestion, it irks me when the pistol in your offhand does nothing other than look pretty in the ‘auto-attack’ rotation.
Yes, a thousand times yes.
There doesn’t even have to be a change in stats, it could be purely aesthetic. I always thought it was weird when you’d have a pistol in your hand, but never used it…
I tried the warrior with Signet of rage , signe of mate frenzy and for great justice. It is possible to shot the target easy but then… how do you explain that 8 of us where killed in 4 seconds by the same warrior. We were all dead in 4 seconds. If the warrior is so op like this then this is a total fail. I mean , i don’t think that he didn’t used some exploit/cheat. I’ve never seen something like that
Hundred Blades is not a single-target skill, it is a cleave, meaning it’ll hit whoever is in front of him and happens to be close.
we weren’t close
You were obviously close, or he wouldn’t have hit you with the Hundred Blades… >_>
I’m not entirely sure I believe you, everything seems too convenient for you. “We weren’t close”, “This never happened before”, “I tested it myself”.
You’ve got a single screenshot, of the aftermath damage. It really doesn’t say much =/

Warriors have a skill, called Frenzy I believe, that gives them Quickness. Coupled with Hundred Blades it results in an EXTREMELY fast cast time. Also, combined with the ‘For Great Justice’ utility, and the ‘Signet of Rage’ elite skill, it’s quite easy to rack up high numbers.
Yes, there are, generally, two items that allow you to swap looks and stats. I will quickly describe both for you.
Basic Transmutation Stone,
“Single-use. Combine the appearance of one item with the attributes of another. Items must be of the same type. Usable on items up to level 79.”
Fine Transmutation Stone,
“Single-use. Combine the appearance of one item with the attributes of another. Items must be of the same type. Usable on all item levels.”
I don’t know if it’s consistent, but I’ve gotten Basic Transmutation Stones from fully exploring cities.
Stones of both types are also available for gems. The Stones are an item, and stack in your inventory, they are not currency.
