I have been away for quite some time but the mega server and the chance of more populated low lever areas are making me think about playing again.
The reason why I never got back into the game was that I hopped to much between classes and progressed with none after my warrior hit 80.
I have every other class at 20 by now, thanks to the birthday scrolls.
Which new class should I pick to play. I am mainly looking for something not to complicated and relaxing to play.
I play mostly PvE and don’t care much about endgame content or maxing things out.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I would love that, some of the gem armors are really nice!
I have tried this built and am quite happy. Although I have changed banners to shouts with corresponding adaption to the traits. Random people running off with my banners was just too annoying.
Damage and survivability is really good.
you aren’t running any consumables with your builds?
I have played quite casual so far, for me consumables were something that happened to other people. Probably not the wisest choice. :-D
Since you’re not doing dungeons you’re really not going to encounter too many situations where you’ll be hitting the bleed cap AND where your dps matters at the same time. The only place you’ll be hitting it is world bosses, and you’re going to get your loot regardless. You can play a bleed (condition) warrior in open world PvE and WvW just fine. Unless you really don’t like the playstyle there’s no reason to change. Sword/Sword + Longbow is actually very strong right now in WvW for soloing and small groups.
It’s not like I particularly dislike my current build, I just wanted to do something new and a new warrior build is easier than leveling one of my countless neglected alts.

I toyed a bit with your Meta Build. I think I will try something like that with cheaper items and see how it works. My main problem with it is that the trait lines doesn’t really fit with what I try to achieve. Either they have the wrong attributes or the wrong weapons are supported. :-D
Edit: The points in the precision line seem wasted. perhaps this instead

The problem with condition warrior is all its damage comes from one condition but a lot of it. Where one cure will take it all away.
On my necromancer I can put Confusion Burning Chill Bleeding Poison Torment Weakness all in a short period of time. (2-3 seconds.) Then spread it to your friends with Epidemic…
I can do this all from a safe distance. Whereas a Warrior has to be in the thick of it, taking aoe damage for mediocre returns.
I know, and you are right. That’s why I want to get away from the built. But I still feel like I have to defend it a bit :-D
For me it always had one neat advantage: The bleed goes well with auto attack of the sword and the rifle. One trait line and gear set works equally well for two different weapon sets.

That looks quite good. Do you think 30/0/20/20/0 could be viable? I haven’t played in some time and I really can’t tell from the descriptions alone.

Hi guys,
Some 8 months ago I was a bleed warrior with full sigils for crit. Apparently that is not the smartest way to play and as I try to get back into the game I just might change to become a better warrior.
The thing is, I am weird. Style is pretty important to me and I think it looks somehow ridiculous how a warrior carries a weapon in off-hand. I mean, he just needs to stumble once and would impale himself. Dumb choice.
So, is there a viable built with Greatsword / Hammer? I am thinking Longbow for secondary.
I would prefer something tanky, soldiers stats or something. Mostly for PvE Open world and perhaps some WvW. Non Dungeons. Usually playing alone.
I have about 10 Gold for gear.

So, there is this nice new achievement system in place, the one where you can retrieve an unlocked skin as often as you want.
Is there any chance that the gem store (armor) skins will be transferred into it or into a similar system?
I wouldn’t mind paying ten bucks for a new skin, especially Magitech and Braham are nice, if I could use it as often as I want. Having additional expenditures in transmutation stones just to keep the skin and being able to lose it is a bit of a deal-breaker for me.
I am pretty sure no one buys the same skin twice, so there is no really disadvantage in un-limiting it’s use but it could attract new customers.

I think we are all old enough to know that prices change. However, it was phrased as bad as possible. What they meant:

I managed to get to the 5th Book alone with a Lvl 11 Necro and some nice guys escorted me from there on. Just ask and be friendly. The Community is quite nice and helpful.
