This Featurepack that came in, highlights an ongoing issue within the development of Guild wars 2. The most tragic part is that the creators of the game seem to be oblivious of the problem. Almost to a point that suggests that they choose to ignore the blatant issue all together.
Guild wars 2, features, perhaps more than story line, or world, Players. These players are quick thinkers, highly intelligent and cunning in the best ways. They seek challenges, obstacles, they want to feel that they’ve accomplished something at the end of the day. Sadly the powers that be, the Development Team underestimates the players, dumbs down or removes content entirely and the challenge of Guild wars 2 is lost.
In the recent update, among various inevitable bugs, we find that monsters that ‘require players to dodge’ have been removed or reworked, enemy classes are limited to Veteran, even the ability to be defeated is lost in the tutorial instances. Skills, options and abilities are locked, as to not confuse the player. Level requirements increased on everything so that we don’t get in over our heads.
The point, Anet, is that this isn’t what we we’re after and frankly you’re severely underestimating your consumer base, and it’s insulting.

They deleted that guy thread where he posted proof (and where the exploiter admitted) of people Abusing LFG, exploting and selling the path after. And you know what? I bet you 100 gold that I will see those 3 warriors logging on tomorrow, and the day after. I know it’s against policy to put name on the forum but there is no way to be heard otherwise.

I’ll take that 100g bet. We aren’t going to ignore reports of GM impersonation and harassment. This was a case of both, and has been dealt with. These players have been actioned, one more severely than the others.

That being said, putting that kind if information into a public post is just asking for the thread to be removed. Next time submit a CS Support Ticket please.

Yup. But the problem about reporting here on the forums is that it requires information to be shared in a public place that should not be. It’s against the forum rules to do so, and thus the posts have to be taken down. However, in a CS Ticket, that isn’t the case.

As with any in-game enforcement, it is not going to be visable to anyone but the player being actioned (unless in rare cases like the one above). You want to see results of your reports and feel that your reports are going into a black hole. This is hardly the case, as most harassment cases (with actual information being shared in the ticket) are reviewed by a senior GM. Since we don’t share the results of those cases with the players reporting, you aren’t going to see when when someone gets actioned.

Most players that are actioned do not repeat offend. Unfortunately, some do…and they won’t be allowed back in when caught.

I agree that the party system has a problem with player kicks, and we aren’t going to ignore that. Unfortunately as it’s been stated by other devs, this isn’t an easy fix. Please keep your reports coming in until we fix the problem.

Instead of Eliminating the instance owner, you could have just made it a system to Handover ownership. Seems like an easy fix.

i have been doing commission work elsewhere on these forums, and I’ve actually run in to this problem a few times.
i do my best not to overly sensualize the asuran female, but there are times when there are no visual markers for asuran gender.( ie; barbaric armor on female asura is identical to the male version )
so i try to feminize the frame to some degree, no I don’t give asura female D cups and thongs, but i do thin my lines out in certain areas, streamline some of the frame, and so on….

as for the ’ child like ’ aspect, it’s easy enough to ignore, assuming that you can look at asura as non humanoid ( try thinking of them as bipedal shark / mice )

i’ve done a good deal of art for gold. Anet doens’t have a problem with it.

also, is that drawing something you made? because the coloring is AMAZING…. i gotta learn how to do that, i can do pencil/paper pretty well, but coloring… that i need to learn

no… some of the voices are bad… Deputy Mira at Claw island for example, a horrible deliver of lines….
’ by the gods, there’s so many of them ’ delivered in a way that more resembled table reading than acting….

Anyway…. Commissions will be drawn on a first come/first serve basis, and will be done in pencil. ( unless i’m feeling adventurous )
Previously, i had worked on a ‘pay what you think its worth’ basis, and that seemed to work well enough, so i will be continuing with that method.

it might take awhile simply because of the number of hard edges on the armor and the intricacy of the weapon

jayvux, and lepton, im gong to need better screenshots, Lepton, i need more details about the asura hairstyle you mentioned, Jayvux, im going to need a screenshot that shows the detail of your armor, all i see is a big dark mass, which is a horrible thing to draw.

which leaves BTA and Leameera, these two will be first up, i can get better images for the other 2

looking back at some of these… i really need to get a better scanner, im losing a lot of shading…

ok, so, long story short, some things happened and i need to do something to keep my mind off them, so, free character commission for the next person to give me information,
due to the nature of whats going on, i might be doing more than one drawing, so if youre not my first pick, check back periodically, i might have a surprise for ya!

if you bring the camera close, and use the /sleep or /lay emote, your character will usually be out of frame.

i tried to make the armor a little more modern than most gw / gw2 armor, and basically ended up redesigning it from the ground up.
i included a black undersuit, because… well… HOW IS A MAGE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT IN A BIKINI???

this is some impressive work, i throw my full amount of respect in your direction!
but no money, because im broke :P

its easier to do art stuff on my days off, i get home tuesday mornings at 5:30 AM, get my daughter to school at 8AM, so… i’m usually pretty tired tuesdays

also, i had been trying to redesign that elementalist armor in a way that made the character look like someone who i thought would match the description you gave

and i wanted to make the armor really special, so i spent my free time at work redesigning the armor again.. and again and again.. couldnt come up with anything amazing though

sorry about the lack of update, i work Friday through monday, makes it hard to get anything done!

there were some good laughs in this, i had a hard time understanding the voices a couple times though, but it was some really good stuff.
