I recently came back from world tour deployment and lost touch of GW2.
I’m looking for a nice, friendly guild with new or experienced players, not picky. I just want to be able to communicate in English at least.
I have 4 lvl 80s, 1 lvl 76.
Warrior(80) full ascended/Necro(80)-Mesmer(80)-Elementalist(76)-full exotics/Engineer(80)(main) full celestial
My main goal is making my Engineer into full ascended and possibly a legendary but need a great guild to help me achieve that. Any offers is greatly appreciated!
Well, I see the damage lacking end-game, but I’m use to it with previous experiences with my other characters. What about defense as a medium armor wearing class end-game? Like whats the best skills to reduce damage/gear? Such as farming in Orr..? sigh Maybe dungeon running as a Engi is out of the question. Thanks tho!
I’m starting a new project to make engineer DPS good as any end-game ranger out there. I alway loved underdog classes and give so much respect for the hardship they go through and giving the finger to #1, 2, instant-kill classes we all know who they are. I have a level 80 Mesmer and Necro. Believe me, I know all about the exotic gear stacking and constantly dodging just to have the same surivibility as most classes with master work gear. So I want to embark on challenging the Engineer class. So I need advice….Whats the best end-game build for PvE and Dungeons? I also might make full magic find for PvE lodestone farming in Orr. Btw, I’m not interested in sPvP or WvW as my other characters are specificially built for them. Thanks!

I’m very intrigued by your build and I think it suits my playstyle out of all the Necro builds out there. But it seems there’s is alot of grinding in FotM to achieve this build accurately. For someone who just turned lvl 80, and dont have any of those items. What’s the best gear/build to “start” off with via TP or any other place, so you can grind lvl 10 FotM for those items? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I dont see how pure DPS shatter build can survive in dungeons like that even with a condition removal. When I “do” get aggro from the boss, i die instantly and my party members are busy running around from adds/dealing with the boss to resurrect me lol. Gosh, it gets so annoying…
I’m a newly 80 and I’m so excited! Finally can be in tons of FOTM and AC Exp runs my guild host daily! When I set foot inside AC exp mode———died….died——-more deaths! The conditions were eating me up in my full shatter DPS build! Especially, the lack of movement with torch made me lack behind my entire party. I was dying more than a lvl 37 guildies in our party, so embarrassed. I guess I could expect no less from a full glass cannon build but I was hardly doing any damage to the bosses as my damage ranged from 300-400 per shatter burst T^T My equipment is 20/20/0/0/30 full Beserker gear from armor to accessories, with major rune of centaur. Keep in mind, this is my PvE gear, how I grind to lvl 80 primary through events and hearts. Now I want to be a dungeon master. I really don’t care about sPvP and WvW atm.
Please, to all the Mesmer elite players, share your wisdom on how to do dungeon farming effectively with high survival-ability and “possible” medium to high DPS?
