Guild Wars 2

I saw a post a couple of months ago and am just wondering if Abstract is still active. I think they were on SOR but not sure if I’m remembering that right. If so, can someone from the guild pm me?

I have 4 different characters that I run the puzzle with daily. I often run in to this exact problem. I admit it is annoying at times and can be difficult to deal with on certain profs but they put a stealth fountain in this room for this exact reason. Sometimes it has taken a couple tries but I am always able to make it to the fountain. So, sorry to say, this is a “learn to play” issue. If you are having that much trouble with it, then you need to spend less time in jump puzzles and more time fighting and perfecting you gear/build combo. I am often able to kite multiple people all the way to the fountain. Every class has a way to do this, although clearly, some are better at it than others. Traps, marks, knockdowns, pulls, pushes, immobilizes, cripples….etc. Every prof has at least 1 or 2 of these abilities. Switching your weapon set & utilities to employ some of this BEFORE you enter the puzzle is usually a good idea.

Scooby, you really need to see a doctor or something dude. And maybe an English teacher. First off, stop lumping Envy in with NP. Nothing against NP but we are 2 seperate guilds. When we first started talking about making a move, they weren’t part of that discussion. We voted as a guild and made a decision BEFORE they got involved. Apparently you missed this on Skar’s post so I will repeat, we have 12 active members. 12. Did you get that? Maybe one more time. 12 effing people. So us moving hardly changes the current point spread or the point spread of next weeks matchup. We don’t care about the score anyway and we don’t care about Kaineng. Since you are too short-sighted to see, allow me to break it down for you. We are making this move as a pre-emptive strike. Clearly, we don’t believe Kain is the small guy, but it’s obvious to everyone (except you apparently) that Kaineng will soon move up and HoD will fall to us. We firmly believe FC will dominate that match-up. That is the “beating up on the small guy” situation he was referring to. Honestly though dude, I don’t care what you think. You’re in a guild named for male genitals and seem to think getting hospitalized by a massive human being would somehow make people respect you. In reality, they would be asking “is he mentally handicapped or something?” Which is a question I think many of us are already asking. Seriously, you need to stop comparing this VIDEO GAME to real life. I just want to make sure nobody else is actually buying your nonsense. You are forming your ridiculous opinions on something you know nothing about. So you calling us out for our ego is simply laughable, given the immense amount of arrogance you are currently displaying. You are making yourself and your guild look silly. How about you just stop trying to tell us why we made this decision and go back to your coloring book.
To everyone else, we are simply exploring other options. There is a chance we come back to FC but I don’t see what’s wrong with testing different waters when this matchup has already been decided and future matuchups do not look promising.

I have a fully geared 80 thief but I don’t play her much and I avoid water combat like the plague on all characters. But I was wondering how many ways the thief has to go stealth underwater besides their heal through traits utilities etc. Anyone?

Me and 2 of my friends are looking to move guilds. Our sole reason for playing GW is WvW. We stick to the small fights and have become really good at taking the larger points on the map with very small numbers (last week we took DB with 4). Between the 3 of us we have 7 level 80 fully geared toons. 3 mesmers, 2 thiefs, 1 ele and 1 guardian. Although we all play our mesmers almost full time and break out the other chars for specific scenarios or out of boredom. We are veteran MMO players (Daoc, WoW Rift etc) who only want to pvp with an organized group capable of winning when the numbers are heavily against us. If you guys think you might want us to join can a guild leader please message me in game to talk about it?
