I’m in the same boat… Just couldn’t bring myself to care enough to unlock it.
Every time I go underwater I’m filled with so much bitter disappointment about ds #4 that I’ve never thought about tainted shackles underwater.
And I want condi transfere above water as well, that too.
It used to be 3% every 3 seconds, got nerfed along the way following the “utility skills shouldn’t be good LF generators” trend that killed the spectral utilities vs groups and the unfortunate BiP change
Luckily those 2 dodges will only leave time for 1-2 hits to actually land while the mark is on us
No, it wouldn’t be a condition. More like a status effect like distortion (but a debuff)

The trouble will be in getting the benefit from the active, once people get accustomed to the debuff they’ll do their best to stop us from hitting them while it’s up.
Even just 1 dodge will cut into a large amount of the possible healing time, and people already dodge axe 2 fairly often as is.
Any thief/mesmer will simply stealth/disengage for a few seconds till it goes away

And it’ll make getting cc’d hurt even more, because any cc during that 5s window will mean a significant decrease in health gained, and unlike having CC interupted it means your heal is on a full CD instead of just partially.
I like the idea of it, and I’m definitely going to play around with it some and see if can get it working into something fun to roll around with. There are just some downsides.
You can get those keys from just playing the game. Opened plenty of those chests without ever buying a key.
Hell… I usually get another key from the chests themselves.

I have been having the same issue. I notice it the most in combat, but that is also when I use the camera the most.
I think that was more a ‘fix the previous patch’ kind of patch… not really the weekly spotlight one

I use the Earth runes, because it’s the easiest counter to shortbow rangers, granted it is hard to use it after the first fight because it goes off as soon as i use DS.
Having things like Svanir/vampirism/earth/forge go off in the xx% of DS doesn’t help a lot of builds either, what about people with really low LF generation? They might be using DS constantly when it’s only 20-30% full to start with.
I don’t think any of the Rune procs should ding while in DS. I don’t know if anet even thinks of that as a bug though, could be that they don’t.
For the might one, that seems like a nifty way to use it. I have nothing against it working that way (hell it’s a necromancer trait, so nothing says it can’t interact with DS in an interesting way…). Though I do think that’d make it by far the best grandmaster minor available considering how bad all the others are.
Because that isn’t how it works with my DS….
The Rune effects proc the first time I am hit when in DS, not when my ds hits xx%
meaning I can’t make proper use of vampiric or svan runes since the start of the fight is not when I want those effects.
It means I never get those effects when I need them, i always get them as soon as they are off cooldown and I use DS.
Yes I can plan around it, but it means I can’t use runesets I would like to have available to me.

And I can’t say I recognize the pants.

We have 2 hastes, locust swarm, spectral walk, a teleport with the wurm. You have confusion on the horn. You can get stability with the foot in the grave trait although I will say its a high level trait that probably isn’t worth it. I would say you aren’t seeing a lot of the classes skills if you don’t even know what both warhorn skills do.
Minions aren’t as bad as people think but I definitely will admit their AI sucks. When they attack they are great and using their skills (what you should be doing anyways) forces them to attack. I don’t think they benefit from our stats which kinda sucks.
DS is actually pretty good. Anyone who uses it as a health bar is doing it wrong. I don’t know why people have a problem with it, I use it whenever I can. Buff/Debuff display would be nice along with a small increase to skill 1’s attack speed.
I like how trait skills are distributed and yes they actually synergize……minion master traits are spread out across 3 trees. spite synergizes with curses pretty well too.
The only thing that needs to be reworked is probably water skills. Those are absolutely horrible. Also why are you surprised that the “List of things to fix” isn’t fixed yet? There are hundreds of bugs in the game, expecting them to be fixed 4 weeks after the game comes out is a pipe dream at best. That stuff takes a lot of time and effort to resolve, you need to be patient.
If they fix the bugs and do some minor tweaks we should be fine. And what’s this about ele’s as far as I know they have it twice as bad as we do………
Haste isn’t swiftness, haste is the attack doublespeed effect.
Warhorn used to confuse (also poison) but that was taken out ages ago… unless they put it back in I feel you are misinformed there.
