I’d say interrupting is indeed a key part of higher lv play, and passive stunbreaks messes with its viability. An icon indicating whenever one is up would be nice.

I love to roam and of course there are several builds out there that can be classified under the tag ‘lame’, however the latest balance changes might have created a new category that falls below the last mentioned one in appeal.

I agree with most of your points; for me the worst aspect is Rapid Shot, which keeps hitting you even after you stealth AND dodge. I have to either use lots of dodges or many cds to not get my healthbar reduced to the size of a straw.

Of course you can say ‘oh but you can counter a ranger by blablabla’, but i’d rather not run a pvt mesmer with all the reflect traits and run around as a 1 trick pony.

Nice early evening roaming in gandara, thanks for the good fights. Also a shout out to pve guild [GTFO] for the very high quality small scale fights.

We thought it’d be useful to have a balanced team of tanky and damaging classes (e.g. similar to bunker guardian and dps mesmer/ele/etc. in tpvp), but currently everyone just runs full EXECUTIONERS teams. Theres no stopping them, they just spin to win!

Are you talking about the fights around 22:00-23:00 CET on AM homelands? I kid you not – when you started building the trebuchets in the ruins we were [outnumbered] and around 20 peeps. Kodash’s WvW population drops rapidly at this time – we only have a limited number of off-time-players during normal work-days.

We had to call in reinforcements from other maps but still had clearly inferior numbers when AM took advantage of your attack and took the hill from us (no scouting on our part coupled with too few defenders left in a fully upgraded hill filled to the brim with supplies and defensive weapons – meh).

He meant, for example, when we faced 50-60 of yours in the s/e camp and they built 4(!!!) arrowcarts in the open field to kill our 28-ish

If you get skill lag from 40 it’s time to pick up a new computer/internet connection or turn down the graphics. Skill lag only begins when 3 big groups are fighting each other, and I’m talking 60-70+ on each side.

I had lag at the reset on the RoF borderland when I was not running with the zerg. I could not even get inside some towers without standing there running against the gate. I could not even reliably cast a speed buff.

I’m sad to see you live your own little illusion. If you would open your eyes you would most definitely see us attack similar, and most often larger groups (which should be taken relatively as our raids are btw 3 to 6 people.).

Gah tonight was a complete contrast to yesterday. Yesterday, we did awesome and had a barrell of laughs. Today was… bad. Simply put we played bad and got wiped. Kudos to the AG groups today.

FYI Riversidians, there is a cross-server dueling guild (TDS). So if you need a break from wvw check out one of the borderland’s windmill at the south camp and see if there’s something going on (mostly in the evening).
