I’m pretty sure the chance on hit sigils share the same internal cd. So if a rage sigil goes off no other on hit sigil will work for 45 seconds with the main hand sigil taking chance on hit priority.
How is mug not worth it? I believe Thrill of the Crime is applied before mug damage, so he would have 60% crit chance with fury active.
Shadow Arts will give what you said provided you have the major traits for it; he does not have those traits. Also it seems like he wants to focus on doing damage given his current setup so my suggestions are for a similar purpose build.
Mug is not once a minute and is not a single purpose build. Dropping 10 points for an additional 4k burst is definitely worth it.
What utility skills do you use? This advice is mainly for WvWvW.
Practiced Tolerance and Side Strike are sub par major traits. Furious Retaliation and either one of the signet traits if you use signets or Critical Haste would be better (although some people don’t like how haste can mess up heart seeker range).
Power of Inertia loses it’s value without vigor or Feline Grace (Acrobatics 15 point minor trait). Assuming you dodge on cooldown, which is generally a bad idea, you will be getting 1 stack of might every 10 seconds; not worth the points in my opinion.
What is the purpose of going into the Shadow Arts line? With the major traits you have selected, it looks like you are going for burst damage with a steal→stealth→ back stab combo. A better burst would be putting those 20 points into the Deadly Arts line to pick up mug (averages 4k crits) and dagger training. You can make up the lack of stealth on steal by beginning to cast Cloak and Dagger before hand and stealing mid cast because you can cast instant cast spells during the cast time of a non instant cast spell.
Also the nullification sigil is not very useful. Try the air one instead.
You can see the thief wind up his weapon for Cloak and Dagger. If he ‘s doing it at a range just dodge because it’s obvious what’s coming next.

Doesn’t Dusk have a level 80 requirement to equip? Do trials start at level 80 or something? Also I heard rewards were scaled with level.
Same here I disconnected right before phase two ended three times on three different overflows. Then on phase three I got to see a glimpse of the cave then my game just kept on crashing.
