For some reason, this just makes me think one of the Book back items.

Its not just you, mine runs at around 50-60fps most of the time, on mostly medium settings, but then drops drastically, usually into single figures, when other people are on my screen, or a fight breaks out, and WvW world is pretty much a no no.
Before that patch, I was getting 20fps at worst during combat or in WvW.

This is pretty much exactly whats happening to me too, changing to best performance doesn’t really make much improvement either.
Checked GPU temp and Core temp, and the temperatures don’t seem overly high, usually hitting 50 degrees at most when running GW2, and usually around 30 degrees when Idle.
Been using the same PC since October, with no problems at all, running at mostly medium settings, getting around 50-60 FPS, dropping down to 20-30 during events, big mobs etc. Only seems to have occurred with one of the most recent patches, as I was playing fine during the Aetherblades event, did the dungeon several times with no problems at all.

Despite not being very good at it, i do find this Mini game to be great fun, would be nice to race against friends though

This seems to have happened to me now as well, running about with medium settings, getting around 50-60fps, dropping down to 25-30 or so when around others.
Now, its dropping down to like 7 fps, or worse.
Been using this pc since shortly after release, with no problems, fps just seems to have drastically dropped with one of these recent patches.

Went to buy a guild stash for our guild today, it got added to the research queue as normal. I got diconnected some time later, and noticed that the guild stash is missing from the research queue and we are missing the reputation I used to buy it.
