Thanks for the reply Grim, I’ll definitely check you guys out!
Also, edited the title to reflect openness toward other NA servers. Should’ve had that in there originally, oops.
Howdy folks. I’m an early starter coming back after 2 years away from the game (college, life, WoW in that order) and only having made it to the mid 40s up until recently. Finally powered through to my first 80, a Guardian, and am bringing up both a Warrior and Mesmer because they’re insanely fun for different reasons. I typically only play PvE but I tried Edge of the Mists for some leveling the other day and the premise seems interesting enough. I also cannot believe what I’m getting away with as my Mesmer at almost 30, it’s making me feel like a child again; minus the fahrar and all. Seriously, have you gone into the Black Citadel and seen the obstacle course they have for the cubs?
Anyway, I’m kind of getting tired of being a ronin of sorts, with people spamming guild invites without asking or being pressured on the spot to join others. The attention’s great and all, but I value quality a bit over quantity. I’m just starting a new career and will be working a lot, so East Coast nights are when I’m able to start cloning myself and turning things into purple butterflies, or glowing like a rainbow when I pull off some flashy field combo. So yeah! I’m basically looking for friendly folks whose lives aren’t all about the game, but still enjoy playing and can help me understand some of this fancy stuff that’s going on at endgame. Or just shoot the kitten with while wandering around, throwing myself against sharply angled rocks so I can nab that next vista.
(Also, I’m not entirely opposed to switching servers but it’d have to be for a really special opportunity.)
Thanks, and I’m also open to any questions. Will check this tomorrow evening, see if I’ve reeled anything in. Not that any of you are fish. Probably.
“…the other pets in his family –the canine one.”
A hyena isn’t a canine. ;_; They have their own classification, and in fact are more closely related to felines. Just had to point that out, as I’m an animal trainer/caretaker/enthusiast.
