Still happening here, too. Lost connection twice in a few hours; I never took the authenticator off my account…perhaps I’ll remove it and re-add it and see if that makes any difference.
I’m seeing the same problem.
The only time I’ve seen that is when my network cable fell out; I guess it was trying to access the GW2 servers and couldn’t, so just sat there.
I’m running 10.8.2 though.
It’s exactly where the original post says on my iMac & Macbook Pro, both running 10.8.2. Remember the Library folder is hidden now.
Finder -> Go -> Hold alt/option -> Library -> Application Support -> Guild Wars 2
is where the file lives. If you don’t have one there, something’s different with your setup!
