Shared inventory slots are already available in the gem store and gathering tools already can be placed in them.
But you can’t use them from there, so it isn’t a convenient “solution” at all.
I find putting my only set of infinite gathering tools into a shared slot enormously more convenient than either:
- Clogging each character’s inventory with up to 11 slots worth of gathering tools.
- Purchasing multiple infinite tools.
Right, but I think the topic’s point is that it would be undeniably more convenient to have account-wide shared slots for gathering tools; i.e., put an unbreakable tool in the mining slot, and everyone has immediate, permanent access to it as if it was in their normal mining slot on their Hero page.
My wife and I are thrilled at the prospect of a healing class, and, after having waffled on returning, decided to preorder the Ultimate Edition, one each.
I haven’t specifically played Druid, but we hope to in the next beta test. Typically, healers are their own, unique, and for some, enjoyable way of playing the game. It was a major bummer for both of us (my wife in particular) in the base game, and we’re glad to see the potential return of a class, different playstyle.
At the very least, the concept of variety in gameplay is fantastic.
Same here, made several keys, no luck. What’s worse is that it worked the first day, a couple weeks ago!
I recently picked up a costume in the game, and at first, I thought it was an on/off toggle, and excitedly let a friend know how neat it was that a company finally did costumes right, and let players play with their toys to their hearts’ content!
Then I noticed there was a 30 minute cooldown (“Recently Transformed”), and the costume only lasted about five minutes max (and if it was immediately removed, you’d still have the cooldown). Why? Why not not players play as <insert costume here> if they desire?
I think it’d be really cool if they just made costumes an on/off toggle.
Cool, thanks for the response! No, it’s not that serious, we were just wondering.
So we know it wasn’t Uzolen. That just leaves Teyo and the Inquest. The Wiki calls Teyo the “creator of the Grizwhirl”, but from what we saw, we only have the Inquest’s word to go on that, and we know they’re not above stealing techs and ideas.
Spoilers for a couple different personal stories below!
We know that in the Human circus storyline, it's implied to be Uzelon, but in the Asuran's early quests, the Inquest is presenting a grizwhirl for the Snaff competition.
But has it ever been clarified? Could it have been bought and sold by one side or the other?
Interesting. What’s the point of the other ones if they don’t count? Are we getting some rewards for them I’m not seeing?
Upon completing all four of them, you get an achievement in the Living Story category (this is a different one from the daily achievement that we’re talking about in this thread) as well as a permanent torch object. And fun.
Gotcha, thanks! We just had a kitten moment and overlooked that other achievement. All we knew was that torch runs weren’t counting toward the daily in question. Couldn’t figure out why torch runs were counting for some of us, but not all!
