Stats on gear? I know they’ve removed some stats and added some.

I’ve been waiting to get gear for my level 80 thief because I knew there were going to be big changes. I haven’t really played in about a year. What is the best build right now for a Thief with Dual Daggers?

I just started playing GW2 again from being on a break for 6 months. I have a bit of magic find gear, what do I do with it? I never got that mail message that would give me enough magic find to get mine up to %20.

I’ve been playing GW2 since a week after release, I was involved in a guild up til Febuary of this year, and decided to take a break from it.

I have sever max level characters.

I’m looking for a guild that is casual but not too casual as I have a job and have classes, so my availibility will be limited during the week but almost always availible on the weekends.

I’m in the Eastern part of the US, the server I’m on is Yak’s Bend but I am willing to transfer.

I’m looking for a guild that uses, Skype, Teamspeak, or Teamspeak.

Oh, I’ve found this shot! I always hoped that people who want their “descendant characters” look like their GW toons will have that possibility, but we got what we got.

So, luckily for me there is one than more “fairly Canthan” face preset that it could work with. My goal was to make her similar, I doubt that I could make her identical. I liked the result and I play that char from the day one (though my main is an asura). I was delighted to finally have nicely animated long hair, too.

What do you think? Do anyone else tried to do the same thing?
Edit: I also tried with the paragon. So-so, but there’s not much dark skinned PCs on my server, so I’ll stick to her. It’s just a pity the face features are so “homogeneous” for human females.

They look fantastic! What are the armors?

My guild do many dungeon runs and we do very well as a team, but there are always times where chance beats us and someone gets down. This will make dungeons a hit or miss in terms of the duration it will take to complete them.

What is the armor you’re wearing?

Okay so I’ve searched around and I’ve seen a lot of builds for Guardian.

I want a build with the most survivability, being able to take hits and heal quickly.

I’m thinking with armor to go with toughness vitality, same with the jewellery.

So if anyone has a good guide, I’d appreciate it.

I’m looking to buy some gems for a character slot and another bank slot. Will there be a Black Friday deal on those?

I have 3 humans, 1 sylvari, and 1 char. I’ve never considered playing an asura before.

Why do you play as an Asura? What’s your favorite part?

You can’t really run away from theives, they have shadow step AND most have 33% increase in movement speed.

The only weapon that does any conditon damage is the staff, it does bleeding and burning. None of the other weapons do condition damage. Unless you count vulnerability.

Also did they fix the GS yet? I haven’t seen it in the patch notes…

I really don’t get what condition damage the mesmer uses. Mine never does condition damage, not with GS, not with sword, not with pistol, nor with staff or sceptor.

Okay so my GS isn’t good anymore since the patch.

I’m level 28 and I’m looking to rebuild her, and get a set of rare level 35 set of armor/weapons.

I’m not really sure how which way to go.

I’ve been mostly going for power/crit and a little toughness and condition.

I’m a bit squishy though, I’m thinking I might like being more tanky but I’m not sure.

I mostly play PvE but in the future I will be doing some WvWvW.

Out of my 5 characters, the mesmer is the most difficult for me to build.

Hmm, one of my character’s got passed the loading screen, then when I was in the options menu, GW2 froze. I’m on Windows 8. It was working fine before the latest big patch…

To the OP, I had that processor and it’s ability to overlock is great. Search google for the overclocking forum and search there. You really don’t need an upgrade.

How do I run GW2 in borderless windowed mode?

Daggerstorm is probably one of the BEST elite skills there is in this game…

Get Ancient Logs, and Orichalcum ore from Cursed Shore, and get all the other materials. You can do this for Malchor’s Leap and Frost Gorgesound. It’ll take you about an hour or so with a map that’s updated daily. You’ll make about a gold or more.

It’s a trap!

I saw this in a video, it’s not a bug.

This happened before I set my game to the new FOV setting, but after I set it to FOV, this problem went away.

Any word from Arenanet on this problem?

I know Arenanet is working on the botting problem but I really haven’t seen any difference. I play on the Yak’s Bend server and I see bots EVERYWHERE. From level 40 to 50 areas, to level 80 areas. Mostly these bots are either human rangers or char rangers. Today I saw a group of 15 to 20 bots. Earlier today I saw a group of 10.

I am sick and tired of having to spend 10 to 20 minutes of my game time reporting bots.

I’m sure Arenanet is doing everything they can about bots and botting. They need to put a priority on botting reports. I was on over 2 hours ago, I needed to grind on harpies for crafting supplies and there were already 2 bots. I stayed about 30 minutes and I noticed that the two were bots, they followed the same patterns, they healed at the same points. One of them even drops a healing thing on the ground and the other stands over it to heal itself. So then I reported both of them and went away for about an hour and a half out of frustration. When I came back, they were still there! There needs to be a priority on reports for botting. It’s bothering me very much, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I believe that guilds should be able to create banners with an in-game creator.

Players in a guild should be able to throw down a flag any where in the world with their current guild’s banner and name.

Yup it did happen to me today while in WvW.

Ahh okay I just bought some Gems with my ingame money. Only problem, I can’t transmutate between a regular item and a fine item…

UPDATE – Just figured it out by checking out the wiki. THANKS EVERYONE.

So I have to spent even more money to buy more gems to buy transmutation stones so I can keep my armor set. Is that what you are telling me?

I just bought an armor skin for 500 gems and I applied it to my current armor. How ever I just found a better pair of boots, am I able to transfer my armor skin to these new boots? I’m not sure how the armor sets work.

Guild Wars 2 is honestly my first ‘real’ MMORPG. I have vast experience with video games and online play. I can talk via Skype, Teamspeak, Ventrillo, which ever the guild uses.
