Why do a small minority of people keep defending repeated failure?
I haven’t actually posted in defense, but if I cared enough I certainly would simply for the fact that it seems 95% of the posts chastising Anet are making kittened arguments. My personal favorites are “they had 9 weeks to get this right” and “this wouldn’t be a problem if they were at least letting us know”. Well, unfortunately unforseen bugs are unforseen, and getting a play by play on bug fixing doesn’t do kitten.
“Unforseen”, i saw it coming when people started receiving chests 2 weeks before the ending..
Give it a rest. It will get fixed when it does. The griping in this thread is bad enough, but it’s pathetic when you think that seventy years ago today thousands of men were killed or wounded on the beaches of Normandy. There’s a lot in life much worse than not getting a video game reward. If you still can’t cope, find another game that has no software bugs.
Tottally offtopic, it’s like, imagine your microwave went to crap, now you cant heat anything, you’re frustrated and kitten, and then some guy comes and tells you to calm down it’s not like you’re being invaded by the kittens (aparently the bad germans is a bad word). Point is, there are much worst things in life, talking about them on the internet are not going to solve them, and you can’t compare a video game which the devs had time to fix, with a war, it’s just a childish and a poor excuse, with no relation whatsoever.
How many large scale MMO-project have you worked on and coded?
It does not matter. It’s their job to get things done. They are payed for that and if they can’t do it on scheduled times they need to be replaced. For us this might be a game, but for them it’s a company and in a company if certain members are not working properly they either get better on what they are doing or they get replaced. And assuming that this is the same crap that happened in season 1, they are not getting better.
Also it’s not that hard to organize, just get 6 tags in one place and some people who can tell you the hp of the mobs and you’re good to go. But what you mostly need is 6 tags.
Seriously, stop wasting money on crap completely unrelevant to the lore and history of guild wars and start giving us something that we really want. Also you better hurry cause well wildstar with their housing feature + the combaat system will probably steal part of the GW2 community, i mean i have been playing their open beta and the game (even though its quests and thingies are boring) looks pretty great and i just won’t play it casue of the subscription.
I say deal with it. Seriously you guys complain about thieves and crap but tbh thiefs have low hp, most of the have low defense, and 0 invuls, i have played each class and i say some thiefs got it hard, so let them have their stealth kill and stop being little kitten.
When the game was launched the prices were all low, its was easy as heck to get full exotic in 2 days, i know, i was there. Oris can be obtained by salvage but it’s still a pretty low rate, it takes now around 1-2 weeks for someone without money to get certain trinkets.
And we still got the Orbs problem.
So are you telling me a newcomer has to craft all the way to 400 and then get orichalcum (which respawns daily) just to get (probably) one exotic trinket per day ( this thinking that he can get the 5 orbs to craft it)
I think all form of trinkets should be available from either karma or dungeon. I mean newcomers come to the game and once they reach lvl 80 what do they do? They start trying to get exotics, and guess what, i.e. knight’s trinkets are only available through either paying 4.5g each on tp, rng, or guild commendations + 5g, how the hell are they supposed to get their preferred gear if it’s all freakin expensive and takes at least 2 or more weeks to get. Wasn’t Guild Wars 2 supposed to be anti-grind on items like these (items that give equality)?
I think the biggest reason people don’t do world bosses is because it takes a lot of time to finish them and they normally fail. And why do they fail? Because of the timer. When an event is cutting close to the end of the timer, people get discouraged cause they already know they won’t be able to do it. So my suggestion here is: Either make timers like 1 hour or remove the kitten things. If you do that i am 90% sure that people will do this event, and they won’t pass for ghost events.
Hey guess what? Do whatever you want most people run this kind of stuff with their guild so they actually listen to someone. If you guys want to ignore orders and all that good for you just don’t complain when you lose.
Hey guys i’ve been reading the forums and that and before i go with this build for my necro i would like your opinion. (for wvw hybrid roaming zerg and a pretty decent defense and a (i think) pretty good condition damage)

This thread won’t ever die i want to find out what happened to my favorite continent! Factions was actually the first mmorpg i’ve played, the one that turned me into a gamer around 6/7 years ago, and hell i really wanna know what’s going on there.
Stop…Just stop. Bring back the Gw1 writers the ones that came up with Cantha or Elona storylines. I mean Scarlet? SCARLET? She is just annoyin, she has no purpose, she has no good backstory. What kind of thing made her that way? Oh right she wanted to know stuff and got kicked out. I mean it’s not even funny anymore, she’s literally everywhere and people are tired of her ruining the lore. I mean the alliance was not bad then the clockwork chaos i gotta say it was neat, but the Krait? THE KRAIT? The most xenophobic race ever documented working with a salad head? Really? And now we also got her behind the Thaumanova? Seriously you’re just forcing her on us and ruining what could’ve been great storylines, i mean right now, even though i voted for Evon, i’m glad he didn’t win cause, with writers like these Abaddon would’ve probably be ruined by some terribly written storyline.
XacTactX i don’t wanna be a kitten or reduce your acomplishment but i gotta say you probably got lucky truth is this one challenge is just pure luck i actually took him to his last drop of hp just so he could critique me and bam i was dead, his patterns are not regular and if you won it was probably because you got lucky and were able to match your “attacks” with his
Well the thing is i open the trading post and that thing just keeps loading to the infinite it never actually opens the content only the interface, same thing happening with the “gem store” and the “currency exchange” and the “sell your stuf in trading post” tab.
Any ideas on how to fix this please ^^?
