I really hope this is some kind of sick humor of ANet, if they add gliding to WvW it’ll ruin that game mode also, just like they ruined PvP

“Oh my health is low, I’ll just glide away!” | “Oh I’m being knocked off the cliff, I’ll just use stability and glide away!” what a joke

Asking PvP players to do PvE for PvP rewards is really stupid idea in general, I’d be totally fine if they just buffed the number of Ascended Shards needed in total for one piece, but don’t ask us to do PvE stuff please :/

• Mixed Borderlands – No please, just keep Alpine and delete Desert Borderlands, alternative: Keep same layout of Alpine and just “recolor it” into Desert (or whatever theme, tropical would be my fav)

• World Linking Schedule – 3 Months sounds good (as it is)

• Deployable Mortars – I don’t think this should be a thing, we’ll see a lot more siege wars with this and that isn’t something I’d do
• Deployable Cannons – Same as above

• Repair Hammer – If it doesn’t involve spending golds and making repair slower, then sure, if we need to spend golds and repairs are slower then no

• WvW Priorities – Priority should be to stop separating HoT and Non-HoT people, the latest thing that was added under WvW skills (auto-loot) is super unfair towards people who played from beginning that don’t have HoT yet, another thing that someone else said that I would agree with is: “Make all specializations available to everyone in WvW”

If they add Largos as a playable race and allow us to use “Land” weapons with “Land” skills underwater, then sure, sounds fun, I wouldn’t see any problems

The map is simply not made for WvW, it’s a PvE map and they should just move it to PvE
It’s too big, it’s anti-roaming, it’s anti-fight, it’s anti-towertactics, I can go on, but there’s no point because those issues are known

Yes, and now that we know this is gonna happen how about we start a new petition of wanting Desert to NEVER return (unless reworked hard)

We call our alliance either Black Glade or Aurora Tide

This would literally ruin WvW, imagine how majority of fights would be imbalanced and how non-HoTers would be at huge disadvantage, not to mention flying over the walls

Like people said, if you want gliders go to pve, WvW was in a bad place because PvE’ers support and request PvE stuff to be added to WvW…No offense to anyone, I do PvE from time to time too, but I just had to said the truth

I totally agree, Alpine Borderlands can’t come soon enough

Whenever I play Desert BLs I lose the will to keep playing

When Alpine comes back I hope that Desert wont be re-released at all, unless there is some serious rework to the layout of the map

This nerf makes no sense, they should nerf the new op specs instead

Having the same issue, everything was ok before the Raid update so I am fairly sure servers are overloaded because tons of people are playing raids

And it’s probably not our internet because everywhere else it works alright

ANet will fix it soon I hope

Would love if we would be able to fight against NA servers, that would be awesome, fighting same servers all the time becomes boring

When it comes to servers I would like to fight next week, that would be: Baruch Bay and Ruins of Surmia :P

well, in the two weeks leading up to christmas, we have faced two of the worst possible servers to fight, but at least we have Gandalf to go through it with together.

You mean Riverside and Gandara? Yea, they are one of the worst, we only evaded Abbas, thx god Desolation is here with us to make situation rly awesome <3

That would be epic, would love to see that, I can imagine fights in some of those regions

But I would hate if people could gank you everywhere in pve, it should be kept in WvW only, or maybe give regions to Blue / Green / Red each week and switch around, like one week Blue have Maguuma Jungle region, next week they have Kryta, etc, it might be interesting, tho it wouldn’t be good for lore, so I think it would be better to keep it in WvW

I only take sentries in there, no point in taking ruins coz we don’t get any rewards for that

Great solution, I support this and I do play for rewards mostly (only when I am raiding with guild I play for fun)

Anet has already gotten a lot of people and especially guild leave the game due to not listen to the players, and now this one will take many visits to the forum. A game without guilds without community is a dead game. Anet Keep it up you are doing amazing.

If people kept it clean, nice and friendly then this wouldn’t happen, but you always have to see those “forum warriors” making the situations unfriendly and bad

Terrible idea, personally I would rather play chillaxing game with some seriousness than hardcore ****, I don’t want “hardcore” in games I play

If you want to make it harder, then I would go with the idea of removing 2nd and 3rd skill on downed, leave only 1st one, that would make it kinda cool

I think that if Edge of the Mist proves popular they might introduce some similar mechanics to original maps, but we’ll see

WvW is the redheaded stepchild of GW2, it receives least love compared to the other two parts, and things like the league went….not as expected in terms of rewards.

On a serious note: I personally think ANet will focus on WvW more next year, I think this year was Pve year, next one will be WvW one

Big plus to ANet for making this decision, hated that section of forums, there mostly wasn’t anything constructive for Gw2 and / or WvW

Be sure to check siege rules before you write something like that please, you can probably find it somewhere on official forums or even our own forums

We tested how much Omegas would block siege building and we know our limit, also you failed by listing Omegas, ACs, ballistas and catas into same category, coz they aren’t, even if you build 100 Omegas (not possible but just saying) you’ll be able to build other defensive sieges, only not Rams

So yea, Milks is not guilty of anything and may the Omega building continues! Omega Glade is the best Glade!

I have found the funnest thing to do in WvW; hang around the UW spawn and spam personal emotes.

Fun fact: Enemy servers can’t see custom emotes, only default ones :P

I understand you man, we mostly look for fights and commander probably heard that you’re there with some people and came to fight

Placing sieges near spawn is lame indeed, when a person from AG did that when I was there I told them to pull back so you guys can destroy them, and we did that

Also I am pretty sure they wouldn’t do that always, but they are bored so they just wanna fool around lol

I personally camped the spawn coz everything was green, so I had to get some kills, was bored, I hoped you would gather 30+ and push us out, but that didn’t happened so I left xD

Anyway I hope you don’t hate AG coz like I said that’s not what we do usually, just when bored I guess, like Shino said: not having anyone to kill can do crazy things to a man :P

I love Deso, my fav [EU] server besides AG, kick * of dem Gandarans for me :P

I don’t know why people think that Deso is arrogant or anything bad

Personally I really like their fighting system and how they play for score, reminds me of Mourinho (my fav manager)

They basically start chillaxed and don’t zergfest (unlike some) on start but push slowly, and then if needed in mid of the week they start to zerg to catch up and secure PPT

Personally I am cheering for Deso to win silver league coz AG can’t anymore, keep it up guys and girls, and don’t lose this week, I count on you! :P

And other 2 servers: Good luck and give Deso nice fights xD

I have to say that I really feel sorry for Underworld, it was one of my fav servers back in old days

Also a person from UW who said that we mostly focused them is absolutely wrong, we mostly focused FR coz they were stronger and had more numbers, which resulted in more fights, but when we cap all FR we had nothing else to do so we went and capped all UW also :P

Anyway, I hope you’re not discouraged and will gather some people for some pushes, trust me, we’re bored as you, this is like, top silver server versus bottom silver (Chelsea vs Crystal Palace for example)

And my message to FR: You guys and girls need to be more brave and go into even fights more, you gank 1-2 players with your 10+ zerg only, need to go 1v1 / 5v5 / 10v10 more

Only time when I saw you fight even is when you tried to push for EB keep in the morning, I hope for more fights like that pls xD

@drkn: Yeah, like Phoenix said the info is rubbish for AG too, I am an active Aurora Glade player and we accept, I repeat, we accept any kinds of players, WvW , PvE, sPvP, you name it, we are trying to make a very healthy and friendly community, KISS and LoE for now are cooperating with us very well and are very friendly so what you said about that is rubbish too

we are steamrolled this week, and many other wvwvw guilds are planning to transfer.
I would love to propouse to Aurora glasde’s WvWvW guild to transfer to our server (maybe not this week, but the next), so we can build up a better and competitive server.

That wont happen, basically we had truce with your server and it was “broken” coz some mini zerg attacked your tower? I would never know about it if my friend didn’t told me, basically if you guys want our support and if you want some truce make it go public and that everyone knows and not just get angry coz some mini zerg attacked your tower

Aurora Glade was good and fun server for wvw but after a defeat against Blacktide and Gunnars people just lost morale and left to other servers, why? Well some of them say that AG is dead in wvw…Well I disagree with that, there are many guilds who wont give up their home (Unity, CROW, iSpy, FURY, etc), I salute to those guilds and I hope that we will bring this server to the place it deserves

Yeah I support this, would be loads of fun, btw I agree with person above me, sticking them to walls is epic xD

I have a feeling that when devs “developed” those underwater teleport skills they had infiltrating the keep(s) in mind, like a person above me said, those skills are useless for other purposes, not even good when you chase an enemy underwater, but we will never find out if some dev doesn’t answer
