I just always thought our bows were magic, that’s why we don’t have ammo. =P
Sure +1, it feels weird not having something on my back that isn’t a silly cape.
It’s almost certainly going to happen. Shou in Caledon Forest comments to a fellow Coromi Scout about a Asura Gate gate being built that connects Lion’s Arch to their capital in the Dominion of the Winds. The Coromi Scouts in Lion’s Arch often comment on the destroyers becoming a problem in their realm (Primordius), and how they are still waiting to decide whether to join the other races (with all the times humans have screwed them over I don’t blame them).
While I can’t find the source off the top of my head, I believe it was written somewhere that they were intended to be the 6th race for launch, but focus was later directed to the launch five. Also the Dominion of the Winds dumps out into both Kessex Hills and the Asura second adventuring zone, seems to point to them coming soon enough.

Signed. Nothing more frustrating than having to remake the entire character because you are too tall or too short or you like the design but dislike the class.
There is no way Guild Wars 2 has more revealing armor for both genders than Tera. Not even close…
Saw Borderlands and got excited, than was like awe! =(
goes back to waiting for Tuesday
I would normally add something, but I like it as is and it clarified some things a few friends and I were talking about today.
We could definitely use another Heavy Armor class, I was thinking the Tengu could show use something Samurai-like (as they are extremely bushido-like race) with focus on Two-Handed Weapons that offer defense, dual wield Swords AND daggers and use both bows, when they arrive.
Was also thinking a Martial Artist/Monk (light armor melee) that that uses wands and staffs as melee weapons, would be kind of neat.

Turn off pet names like we can PCs and NPCs. Takes away from immersion.
The game seems be built around a continuous forward motion. We don’t go to mail boxes, we don’t pick up our reward from the NPC, we don’t go back to town to train every level, we just keep moving for the most part.
So the idea of standing outside of a dungeon, when when you could be questing, seems counter productive. The “social” argument is moot, as not adding something that a good portion of players could benifit from for the sake of those that prefer doing it the hard way, seems selfish. Right now I run them with my guild mates, but when I feel like playing at 4 am I don’t want to camp outside a dungeon when I could be exploring and doing tasks for xp in the world.
It’s coming, I have no doubt, and it won’t destroy the game.
Tengu.
Though looking around a bit and doing some research, that seems to be likely. Shou in Celadon Forest talks of an Asura Gate being build in Lions Arch for thier people, and thier Dominion of the Wind is right next to a 15+ leveling zone. Looks like the humans will get some visitors in Kessex Hills soon enough. Now if we could get an Asian themed heavy armored profession (like samurai) or purhaps something monk like (using staffs for melee) to accompany them.
