And yuh, I had no idea how it was done until apharma explained it a bit better. But like I said, it’s best to report this in a ticket or something, might get to the Devs faster? I know they’ve removed some rocks and other things from EB because it could and would have been used for something like this. Reckon this was just an undersight by them.

If you people actually read the threads you could have noticed this has already been reported and a dev already replied thats it gonna be fixed.

The server I am on hasn’t been red so I had no idea of this exploit
[until a few mins ago as I saw some people on the red team glide right into the champs room after we just took that tower]

That being said, I honestly don’t see them banning anyone. There have been so many exploit, glitches and hacks being used over the years with those same people still around. :/

I thought it was 2620 tickets for T2? That’s way more than just 9 weeks.
Not counting the time you have to put into wvw just to get the 2k ranking since I’m sure not everyone has that.

No, 2620 is for t3, 1310 is for t2. T1 is from reward tracks.

The decay timer only hits you hard if you aren’t doing anything in the first like 5mins.
Put 100 sup into a wall? you get the same timer before the patch.
take 2 camps in like 10mins? you should get the same as before the patch.
kill like 5 players? as I said, it’s the same as before the patch.

It only hits you that hard with the 1min if you aren’t doing a lot. It all depends on how much you do.

Which is kinda sad because ohey I can take 5camps then go back to afking like normal.. yay! [I don’t do this, I’m just saying this doesn’t really stop people from afking, it just makes them put in some work for 30mins ish then go back to normal..]

That being said, this should kind of help those complaining about not having a high rank, it’ll either push your butt into doing work or you’ll give up. This doesn’t hurt us that have been in wvw for a long time and will still be there until the mode/game shuts down. :P

The decay even hits it takes 10mins, then the decay timer is 1:20m.
[I tested, also yuh, that was a boring 11mins..]

And I haven’t tested it yet but the decay before was 5mins to go from T6 too T3.

So in theory if people are really working towards stuff and moving maps. This shouldn’t hurt anyone but the afkers.

Currently sitting at ~300. With the Celebration Booster, playing 2~3 hours a day, I am gaining 80~90 ranks per week. I mostly follow zergs and enjoy ppting and fighting. So, it shall take 6-8 months to reach 2k. Not bad at all.

I may play extra 2-3 hours during the weekends. How many ranks are ya all gaining?

If you’re getting 80-90 ranks per week you are playing a whole lot more than 2-3 hours a day. I started WvW a couple weeks prior to the patch, I play at least 3 hours a night in there and I’m still only rank 134ish. I always have guild exp boost running, and use other boosters when I have them.

I only run with zerg groups, as I’m not comfortable enough yet to be a roamer, and I don’t generally run with smaller havoc groups.

Running with a zerg should be around 3-4 ranks an hour unboosted. Or atleast that’s how much I seem to make went really going at it. I wouldn’t know what you’d get boosted though. Or if it’s less on a slow day.

Roaming is easily 2-3 aswell unboosted depending on if you are truly hopping maps and taking every camp you can.

Also on a side note not replying to anyone really, who started the whole "It takes 2k hours to get to 2000 rank? There is no way that’s real, even me being lazy and barely scouting I make atleast 2 ranks an hour.

There should be an option to turn off other players names, I don’t know if it effects the Commander tag though.
I don’t think I noticed it being lower on the smaller races but if that is a thing is should really be fixed.
