I’ve been server hopping and i noticed that there are alot of servers out there that are up by 100k + or more. It sucks to be winning that much because well theres no competition. Why don’t the winning servers out there transfer to another server thats losing and help that server out. This would help out alot of the whining thats been going on and people will have more fun.

just give the system time to fix itself. It’ll most likely get better once all the servers are in there suitable places. The active servers ill be fighting one another and the inactive ones will be down at the bottom of the barrel.

damage is based around AoE: This is a sensible way to build for Mass PvP.

the AoE setup promotes zergs: Single target spells would make zergs harder to combat.

WvW is a snowball game: Good winning should be rewarded. We have oftem come back from 3 orbs down to holding 3.

Fourth, I take this, it is retaken within seconds.: this is not the case. Often I have seen keeps held without doors by a samller force with one or even two other servers attacking.

Fifth, teaming up, and spies.: Good knowing what the other team is doin is very powerful.

Pricing: Money comes easily from looting.

these matches are supposed to last a week, but it is just a constant zerg rush attacking. Seems way to fast paced for what it is supposed to be: That makes it exciting

The rewards suck: I consider them generous.

There seems to be no synergy or skill in WvW. It is purely about numbers and money, and that angers me a lot: this isn’t true at all. There is tons of synergy. Control the space, control the enemy, aoe the enemy. A force can beat a force up to 4 times it size.

Some how give players a reason to split up: This exists, people just choose not to do it. Good groups already do this.

Don’t give the winning teams so many buffs: Winning should be rewarded

One last thing, just make it so big groups can join at once: I agree

It seems that you are just not a fan of mass PvP. That’s ok.

Tip:
The way to prosper in mass PvP is to coordinate.

This game is delivering what Warhammer promised but failed to. Mass Pvp is great fun. It rewards the coordinated, cooperating server and groups.

i agree with mifbifgiggle. the better team will win regardless of size. Just coordinate. is it that hard? use the buffs your guild gives you when you claim a tower for your guild. they help out alot. alot of the time a zerg is usually facing one direction they don’t look behind them. Just coordenate a flank and you should be able to take out that zerg. Depending on there level and equipment/traits is also a factor.

there are so many ways to counter the aoes not just dodging. there are utility skills out there that let you escape. zerging is how it works though isn’t it? You want a large scale pvp battle ground of course your going to get a zerg because well its large scale right? I don’t see how complaining about it is going to help anything. Just find a way to defeat the zerg. Me and a couple of people about 6-8 of us vs around a 15 – 20 zerg came rushing to get a supply camp from us. We were like oh kitten were going to die theres a kitten ton of them but do to our coordination we ended up wiping them out. That being said it was a tiny zerg but none the less you can still defeat a zerg you just gotta play it right. you see a zerg coming towards a tower fight in the keep/tower and use your siege weapons. Don’t engage out in the open. Use choke points etc etc. The good ol pincer maneuver works too. Just gotta coordinate man and keep your head up.

I agree they should add the option to either display or not display your name or the enemies name.

what are you doing standing in the aoes? they are soo easily avoidable all you do is move out of them? What else would you expect from a war like pvp enviornment? small groups fighting each other? no they’re going to be zergs. split up and take other areas if their zerg is on one keep.

As for the money and siege equipment once your higher level it isn’t too hard to make money to purchase the siege equipment you can even buy them with the coins that drop from players.

You should stick with sPvP from this post it sounds like thats more your playstyle and you’ll probibly enjoy it more then WvW or just uninstall the game

I was in jade quarry a few nights ago. Doing WvW with [PiE] and them. It was loads of fun even though we were on the losing side it was still great. Just gotta keep at it and keep fighting. We held our own for quite sometime. Teamwork and communication is the key to victory in WvWvW. Regardless of exploits and all that other bullkitten. If everyone in one server actually communicated and actually layed down tactics things may be diffrent. I look at world vs world as a RTS on steroids.

alot of people whine about zergs. the map is so big and there are sooo many objectives and points to capture. Usually when you see a zerg it means ALL or MOST of the enemies are hitting one spot. You can always go around and let so called keep fall and cap another spot or multiple spots. Siege weapons work good against a zerg too. Well placed siege weapons.

I see all these people on the forums complaining about this and that. WvWvW in this game takes alot of coordination. If your server lacks organization then of course your going to lose. This kind of sucks for the servers that have more of a pve player base. Now if they give some form of perk for leading wvwvw forcing the pve players to do wvwvw to make X available in pve then that would probibly help, Like how Favor of the gods worked back in gw1, Where you couldn’t do Temple of Ages without the favor.

The queue times are kind of rediculous though, There should be some form of indication on how many ppl are in line until you que or something and the whole grace period is a good idea. They should also prioritize the higher levels then the low levels. low levels have there uses (meat shields).

we’re actually winning right now. Just gotta wait a week now for a new match. I give it up to the other two worlds fergusons and borlis pass. they’re not backing down and they’re still trying to fight and push through.

yeh thats true but still its not pay to win. you can purchase the siege equipment via in game currency too. just one way is faster but i highly doubt thats what ppl did was spend rl money on something that doesn’t really last that long and to me pay to win = stuff you can ONLY buy with RL money thats godly.

i dont see how siege equipment = pay to win
about 90% of the items you gain via RL money are consmetic. So if having better looking armor is blinding you to death or lagging your computer thenkitten. i don’t know what to say.

Don’t abandon your server just cause they aren’t doing good. You should stick with it and try and work with the other guilds/players to improve. Ferg is doing pretty bad right now against us and with you guys leaving isn’t going to help them.

I’ve noticed that alot of people have been selling items on the trade post for 1 copper higher then the vendor value. I wonder if they take acount of the listing fee to where they’re losing money selling it in the trade post rather then to the vendor.

So your asking your self who are these leet noobs.. Who makes a tag called LeeT? Well regardless of what our tag says we all have the same goal. We want to WIN!. The guild has a military style Hiearchy that takes advantage of how the ranks can be setup so everyone can work they’re way up or down depending on what role you want to be in. Right now we are pretty new and we are looking to fill up these roles quick so join us today or come check us out!.

So you may be asking yourself what the hell is he talking about? Military hiearchy? What the hell is that and how does it work? Basically i’ve come up with a way that we could easily organize what we do as a group or unit within the guild ranking mechanism for the game specially when it comes to organized play and tactics when it comes to world vs world. The hiearchy may be a bit too serious for most but it comes in handy when you need to be organized. Each rank is filled by what people can do and what they can fullfill. I’ll be adding more ranks when I have more ideas or if anyone else tosses them at me.

With that said I just need people to actually fill in alot of the higher ranks so they can help me organize and recruit members so we can form a larger guild. We are always looking for more members that are active within our guild.

L1-10 Grunts:

Basically lowlevel characters or Recruits that are used for cannon fodder. Tell these guys to do small work or people that do mainly pve work.

L1-80 Soldiers:

People that are dedicated in World Vs World. When an officer or LT calls for them then they have to go. Main Fighting force in World vs World.

L20-80 Lieutenant:

Resonsible for keeping the soldiers in check within your squad. Leading
the soldiers in group activities. In world vs World these guys basically the leader
of each squad (a party) which follow the Officers (Commanders). Must have good
communication skills to lead your squad to what ever the officers say regardless it
being something you don’t agree too. ((Must have Mic))

L40-80 Officer:

Responsible for updating the LT’s with things they need to do and
also approve of things like demotions and promotions which the leader and LT’s
approve upon. Highly skilled in commanding a large group of players to take
advantage of the Squad Commander game mechanics. You must be able to pay for your
own commanders Compendium or you can get help from the others or if the guild has
extra gold. ((Must have Mic))

The levels = level required to be promoted too or if your applying for that rank.
More ranks will be available when the guild gets larger.

What does voice ducking do? usually in other games i see this as an input for voice communication to where all sounds get lowered when someone is talking using a mic.

Yup same thing happend to me. Just lost a bunch of gold at the trading post. You’ll lost your gold when buying or selling items. The items don’t appear in your transaction history either.
