Guild Wars 2

Hey everybody!
Finally got a few of my friends to quit being stubborn and buy guild wars. Now we want to find a friendly guild to play with on stormbluff isle. We are pretty much interested in leveling and a tad of pve and wvw. There are 4 of us, 3 have a headset. We are all fun people but we prefer to play with people who don’t get offended easily. Any suggestions help! In game you’ll usually see me playing as Gangrene Marmalade

Hey everyone
I’m new but you’ve probably seen me around the forums as im trying to be as involved as possible lol. One thing I’ve noticed outside the game is hoe little information there is about GW2’s future. I was doing some googling and general internet dinking-around looking for things to look forward to in GW’s future, but not much comes up. I realize that arenanet could be unsure of a lot of things, and therefore reluctant to share and then disappoint if anything does happen, BUT If anyone knows where some good info on this is located, It is greatly appreciated, and if there just isn’t any, I suggest they start lettin us in on all the goodies they have in store. Hey everyone
I just got into this game and I am having loads of fun. I would like to find a guild that suits me. I can make whatever kind of character is needed, but right now I have a level 15 Necromancer and a level 8 Guardian.
I am looking for a fun guild full of people who aren’t easily offended. People who have a sense of humor. Not mean people, just not sensitive either.
I have a few friends who haven’t bought GW2 yet but most likely will in the near future, and they will be needing a guild as well.
Right now it’s christmas break so I have a lot of time to put into the game, but once this upcoming semester starts, I have 19 Credit hours of classes to deal with, so I’m not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to GW. I will definitely still play, but not as heavily as I want to.
My little brother is still finishing up high school so he can no-life the game to his heart’s content. I’ll have him send whoever is interested in recruiting us his info.
Basically we are looking for people to quest with, level with, and PvP with. I haven’t touched PvP yet so I might need a little help at first. Also, people we can laugh with would be appreciated. I have a really strange sense of humor. Anyway enough wall-of-texting. Let me know if you have a guild or know of a guild that needs people like me and mah bro.

Hey everyone
When is a good time to start looking for a guild? right now I have a level 8 and a level 14, and I’ve gotten a couple of guild invites but I really don’t know enough about guilds to accept them just yet. What should I look for in a guild and when should I start looking for one?

Ive been playing for a while now, but haven’t hit late game yet. I have noticed that there isn’t much variety in armor and weapon types for low level characters. I’m sure it’s already been talked abI guess the more people who mention it, the more arenanet sees it as something we would like.

One thing I would like to see, that I have yet to see in a game at all, are unique crafters. I don’t really know how to put it other than that but what it means is, say, there is a certain number of masters of smithing, tailoring, etc. throughout the world. They all have a unique look to their items, and they all have a good amount of items scattered throughout the world. A player would find one of the items and have it taken to a merchant to identify the hallmark, which would open a quest to find that person. Once found, you can commission unique items to be made for you based upon a few dialogue options. For a nominal fee of course. It’s just a cool idea that popped into my head.

Agreed. Anything that improves haracter customization is a must in my book.

Hey guys,
I’m a new player, and one of the things I’ve noticed is that there aren’t a lot of players roaming around the area of the world I’ve been exploring. I think it would be cool if there was maybe a town or just an area of the map whose sole purpose is or people to meet other players, look into guilds, and find people to play with. You can probably tell I haven’t had a lot of experience playing mmo’s but I figure any idea is an idea.

Hey everyone!
Go the game yesterday and I have been playing around with an asura necromancer for a little while but I haven’t even sunk my teeth into most of the game, and it’s the first MMO I’ve actually played (other than some f2p ones that I played for like a day). It all seems just a tad overwhelming. So what are some tips you have for new players?
Not really looking for anything specific, just anything you think will help anyone who reads this thread.
