The sad thing about guild wars is that pets in Everquest 15 years ago had better AI. It’s a sad state of affairs. All they had to do was separate their failed e-sport from wvw/pve and rangers wouldn’t get nerfed the amount we do.
I second this. This legendary is now somewhat akin to creating a legendary speargun
Rangers are like gas prices in reverse. We get nerfed for months on end and everyone is enraged. Then we get a buff and everyone is happy for a little while but know it can’t last. Then it’s back to the constant nerfs.
Also: Buffing thieves? Like……really? What in the world made them think Thieves needed a buff? I mean….like…what…I don’t even. People have been calling for Thief NERFS for months. And how does ANet respond? With buffs.
So because people call for nerfs for months, that should determine ANet’s course of action?
In that case I will post every day asking to nerf Protection and Retaliation on Guardians.
Additionally, Thief has been nerfed in some fashion with almost every patch since launch. Just take a look at Shortbow…
Play a ranger and feel the Anet love. Thieves got nothing on us.
ahhh best recruitment video ever
Poor design system Mr. Devon. 2 weeks in a row the matchups have been 600-50-40ppts for our servers. If you call this balanced, I’d really hate to see imbalance.
It’s unfortunate Anet isn’t bright enough to move the winning server up a tier and the loser down a tier with the middle server staying at the same level. This stompfest won’t be good for BP in the end but won’t really affect DR and HoD. T7 used to be so much fun too.
I wish i could be bothered to go find all those threads where DR said they were going to stomp us, those people are the reason im like this on the forums, im just glad we finally got to show DR how strong we actually are without a powerhouse server, but its now obvious DR will always find a reason to try and put our server down one way or another and my forum ranting will stop after this week

It’s most certainly not the reason you are the way you are. The idea you had anything to prove to DR doesn’t change anyone’s opinion of your server other than your own validation to be proud of where you are from. Not sure what wounded your pride so deeply, but most of the things said in the thread’s entirety regarding coverage are fairly accurate.
The NA prime time match-ups have been very close every night between all 3 servers and were there no huge gap in overnight presence, this would be anyone’s fight with the winner most likely being determined tonight and anyone’s game.
It would probably benefit you to be a little more humble in victory, just saying…
My goodness. I’m not sure if some of you IoJ guys are trying to get under the skin of the DR forum warriors (and there are certainly alot of them) but you’re most definitely poor winners.
Hats off to you, it would be a very close 3way matchup without the overnight domination with no real clear winner.
NSP and DR please start 2xteaming cause I’m so freaking bored. Seriously I want a fight but all I see are scrubs that run away. Some out there stand in fight. Come at Me BRO
It’s a little difficult after wiping waves of 20-30 only to be replaced by another 20-30 every minute. You guys have serious numbers that look alot like Kaineng’s. Eventually it’s run or die.
That’s not quite correct. A pug is a pick up group. I.e. a group of less organized players.
So if some members from guild Y picked up some dudes from guild X and their best friend from guild Z, that would indeed be a PUG. However, if these dudes then frequently starts running together, they would no longer be a PUG.
Turns out the term comes from WoW, no surprises there.
Its not perfectly correct but in the context of WvW and GW2 I’d say its close enough to on the mark and I’ve seen it used plenty of times to simply describe a bad.
I think its safe to say the meaning of this word has changed to suit WvW.
The term predates WoW by almost a decade and dates back at least until the beginning of EQ and the simple inference that people who don’t know each other would demonstrate less teamwork than those who are together often is a no brainer. Doesn’t mean they’re bad players at all, just less coordinated.
Buddy, Some of us work VERY hard and work all night to gain a point lead. I have the right to say what I feel. I sure don’t see u helping at all at night or day for that matter. Until u work ur kitten off all night for few weeks and pay for upgrades. Maybe u need to stop trolling the forums and do something to help the server. Then u MIGHT have the right to post in here.
You DO know it’s PRECISELY because you night cap so much and get that point lead we both go after you correct? NSP is quite a refreshing sight. DR is used to having a server playing for 2nd but they’re trying to win. Only way to win is to attack the person in first. If you didn’t night cap all those points you’d see a more even daytime and primetime matchup.
Wouldn’t it make sense for both DR and NSP to catch up to attack the person in first? I mean that seems natural to me.
Shhhhh this place is a well kept secret. Primetime is super fun especially in this tier with NSP and GoM. Never before have I seen 3 servers on a Thursday within 1k points of each other. It’s insanity. We most certainly don’t need more prime time players, if anything overnight coverage but the video does say that.
Really though, best gw2 vid I’ve ever seen. Good work on it DDLG!
