Event was not worth the effort or time. Had 10 stacks of the buff, got 5 blooms and some random mats. Wont be doing again.

WvW University - [CLAS], Based on Fort Aspenwood, is a new guild created inorder to help new and old players alike enjoy what World vs World has to offer as a game mode. Our leadership consist of very experienced players with 2+ years experience in WvW.


The main idea behind the guild is to just brief players on the basics of wvw, and get them ready for all aspects of GW2 pvp modes.

Guild focuses on :
- Basic WvW map terms
- WvW important map locations
-WVW vs EOTM vs Spvp
- Funtion with the commander tags
- Finding a class and or general build
- Gear etc
- Class specific questions
- Surviving, zerg and small fight encounters
- The do’s and don’t of wvw, dealing with siege, rezzing, and w/e else
- NO question is to small

The guild is not 100% rep, and It is TRANSITIONAL Only. We don’t expect players to stay in the guild, because there are other WvW guilds that have more to offer your play style, once you graduate.

I know a lot of guilds seem to welcome new players, and that’s perfectly fine. [CLAS] is more like a school, if you decide to go to school, you can feel more confident going into wvw and joining a more focused guild.

So if you’re new and would like to clear up any confusion about WvW, feel free to whisper my ingame name: Shaynks or Baby Sista.

- also, if you’re really good and knowledgeable and like helping others, we need more class specific Advisors to assist as we grow.

I’m having all of the above, skills are cycling through and unable to cast, guildies say I am casting and bouncing all over. Rubber banding/skill lag/generally slower game performance, in addition to a few dc’s.

I don’t mind the new HUD format, it’s the sparkle animation that is very distracting to me. REALLY wish I could disable that constant flashing on the right.

Started happening to me a number of times on my Mesmer in wvw and spvp. Pretty much as everyone has stated, locked in place, phase retreats moves me but still frozen. I was able to be unstuck in spvp by a guildie attacking me...same with an emeny zerg..but by that point it’s to late.

One day TC, I hope you own up to your spawn camping tendencies, we all do it at times. Just you seem to enjoy it every day, guess a huge lead in points isn’t enough for ya. Are there other exits, of course, we know they exist. Just saying, be honest with yourselves.

I’ve been on a few servers and my guild recently landed on FA....I can say that FA would most benefit from you assistance due to the current nature of the match ups....if you’ve read other threads of JQ/BG/SOR/TC....these server are more then adequate in their overall coverage. Not knocking their communities....just saying would be nice to instil some balance where it’s needed. Take a look at our recruitment thread, FA is full of great people that go out everyday and fight hard, out-manned means nothing to us.

We need zombie fighters with heart.

Yeah, this is really terrible. It needs to be more like the Halloween event with the doors where everyone got a chance to tag a lot of mobs because it was a full scale event.

I agree with this….hologram mobs are WAAAY to easy and quick to kill.

Hi Ethersin and RE....Not sure if you remember us in TVB...but we have found a great home and excellent fights on FA. You’d be surprised how welcome your guild would be here...on and off the map. From my personal experience, FA could really us a guild like RE here with your type of leadership. Outmanned means nothing, FA fights HARD. We have had some of the BEST fights our guild has experienced in a long time here on FA.

PLUS...DB has a guild with the RE tag...:)

OK....I guess further clarification is needed.....there is ONE member of [TVB] that wanted/suggested a to move to TC (previous member of your server)....and approached/informed the REST of [TVB] about the proposed offer....how HE came about said offer, the rest of us did not know. During this meeting where the details were laid out, the suggestion was turned down. This same member has NOT made the move to FA, nor does he intend to. To my knowledge and at this time he is taking a break from the game. I am unable to read your forum so I can’t speak to what was posted. I’d also add this member did this of his own initiative, not at the request of Jenar or the rest of the guild. If you’d kindly send me a copy of the page I’d appreciate it, but not necessary.

But as stated above, the rest of [TVB] farmed and paid for and chose a move to FA for the many reasons already stated. If the my guild were "begging" for assistance....why would we pay for ourselves elsewhere?

So, just as YOU didn’t know how it was proposed to the rest of my guild, neither did WE know that this player was "repeatedly asking" for financial assistance from you. This request to TC was NOT made with the consent or encouragement of our guild. That is one thing I know without a doubt, Jenar would never do.

Bottom line....there was an amount offered, and as I stated from some benefactor, which indicates possibly ONE person, not the server.

I do apologize for the apparent confusion but as stated...we moved ourselves.

As I stated in another post we were looking for various things in a server and found what we wanted/needed on FA, so we farmed our own gold and moved over 30+ players over to FA and have enjoyed each day here thus far.

[TVB] a 25+ man guild just moved to Fort Aspenwood less then a week ago from Kain, got to the point we just could not do it anymore there. We considered all our options and felt we wanted to stay in T2 as it suited our skill level and game play desires. We also decided on FA due to it not having suffered the bandwagon syndrome and seemed like a solid stable T2 server.

Some of us in [TVB] wanted various things, good fights, skilled player base, stable community, etc.....lets just say we have found all that on FA! Our guild has enjoyed each and every day/night we step onto a map, and do not ever see leaving it. We have run across old and new friends, and have yet to see any arguments/insults in map chat. There is always solid leadership on any map but also room for new commanders. And I can’t say enough about the "existent" talent already on the server...just great...!

So as others have said..you want plain good fights and lots of loot bags.....FA is it!!

We are glad we made the move.

I’m curious as to why mags seems to only zerg through kain side during NA times? I’ve watched the map all day and none of Yaks has been decimated....yet repeatedly...our keep/garri....everything lol

I’d like to say a thanks to a couple of our Oceanic commanders that are pulling amazing hours and effort. This morning we were sitting at 485 ppt....

Taiwan Man [WvW] and Sephiroth Wing[SKY] I’m sure there are others as well pulling more then their fair share...THANK YOU for all your hard work.

Now if we could get some more early NA help....

Consider kaineng, we are t3 but very close to being balanced if we had SOME NA help, it’s virtually non-existent atm. The current player base is very dedicated to wvw, very welcoming and also has decent pve(not that I participate in pve) We are not looking to move up...but survive and keep or players energized for wvw.

NA/SEA....Call us....Kain’s parents will be gone for the weekend.

As one of the transfer players to Kain from IOJ...this brings back bad memories...and it’s just as painful now as it was then....I just wish my new HOME could work together better....that would be our saving grace. Be more committed to wvw...not just on a whim(sorry). This has nothing to do with those that left for various reasons but the ones still here....Some of our oceanic’s are pulling way to much in hours....I feel for them.

So, Kain, a rallying cry is not enough...we need to use the strategy’s that we know how to....work together.....as a well oiled "machine".

Sorry Shaka...but was ruffled by all the sincerity that was posted but not reflected on the field....Call me war weary....or zerg weary.....

Food for thought: If TC is desperate to get to T1 as some claim, then why would no one bother to show up for the last few days of the matchup knowing we’ve already won? Wouldn’t we use our opponents low morale and thus low turnout to grind out more rating?

Primordus Virtus [RISE] The underdog guild of T6 to T2 chronicles of Kaineng has come to an end.

On Monday April 22 2013. I, Prince Jarvan Leader of Prmordus Virtus, announced that [RISE] will stay on Kaineng. Unfortunately the promise didnt turn out as good as it was. The guild lost strong core members including core officers due to staying. I thought of it over-night, if the guild stays it will slowly die with frustration or transfer start new and redeem the guild of quality > quantity guild. So i have decided we will farm for gold and have our designated server will be confirm on Monday-tuesday of April 29-30th.

Im deeply grateful to the people of kaineng for none-stop support and full respect of RISE. I apologize for all the promises that I made for the server. RISE gave its full potential in WvW and for the people of kaineng. The memories will live on but it will RISE again.

There are 2 different thieves in this story....the one that used to keep our wp busy for hours and has since moved to KN some days ago and carries a PINK tag, and another one that carries is an FA invader tag but was unguilded and likes to play in the walls and moves around in them. He was spotted in smc last week for some time The 2nd one was reported to an FA person as well and reported by our server. So, if was just a few minutes ago...it’s not the PINK one.

OP, IMO nothing justifies calling ANYONE on the field that is trying a noob or any such insulting name.....if someone commander/solider alike is calling names says more about a defect in their personality and used to make that person feel better about themselves. And if the job is to much for some....turn tag off. Oh and Yes, I do have one and have been out there leading.

Reading CNN now regarding the Boston area, Praying for all the people there, GW2 related or not.......sure adds some perspective to this thread.

heheh… I’m entirely too competitive for that! I mean, obviously I’m still having enough fun to keep playing the game, but I won’t be happy with WvW as long as my server is thousands and thousands of points behind with zero prospect of catching up, much less even staying in the same tier.

It’s one thing when you’re just a PuG, this kind of thing didn’t bother me as much when I was solo running back in the day. But now I’m in a huge guild and I often command 6 or 7 hours every day, so it’s inevitable that I’ll become emotionally invested in the score. Weeks of having all the progress I made during my command undone within an hour or two of leaving has made me a grumpy charr.

As am I Sarabi…..Competitive I mean.

A lot of guilds, large and small moved to Kain with various agendas and reasons only clear to themselves. None the less, we are where we are and some intend to keep Kain alive and viable as this is HOME now.

It’s easier to give up, break down, move on and leave a mess THEN to have heart, encourage, rebuild and fight. I’d imagine “pugs”(I dislike that term) step into wvw with the hope of making it better for our server and trying hard.

Is it a perfect world….no. Are we worse off then any other server…..there is always room for growth.

I’d ask that you keep in mind- it’s better to rip a band aid off rather then to pick at it.
