They aren’t as creative as they think they are. Kinda obvious copy of WoW, not to mention a kitten change.
They have been nerfing burst skills since this game came out. Now they’re “reworking” adrenaline so basically you will be punished for “missing”. If a guy is a foot lower then me I will “miss”. The creators of this game still haven’t fixed the mechanics that make these burst skills miss all the time for no reason. If you’re going to make using adrenaline a higher risk, make it higher reward when I actually hit someone with it. Also… Fix your game. Steps and drops should not be the bane of earthshaker…
So fix the bugs. Nerf damage. Move skills to break builds. Problem solved right Arenanet? This is a kittening joke. How can you make such a great game and just figure out ways to make people not want to play it?
Is this some kinda joke? Not only are you reducing damage, your moving key skills and lowering damage on multiple abilities? Are you kittening high?
I really don’t think there is anything wrong with Healing signet, other then having absolutely no reason to activate it. You have spotted one of the things that makes WvW so boring, siege weapons suck. They really need to buff cannons and all siege in general to force players to use tactics instead of just zerging.
Some of us aren’t defending this build because we use it. We’re defending this build because the arguments used against it are vacuous at best.
I ran this build for a while in the past, and again after the july patch. Hated it. Retraited. Effective? Yes. Fun? For me, no, not really.
So…. as someone who has played the build, played against the build. and currently is unbiased towards the build (since I dont play it and have no attachments to it), I think it’s balanced.
I run a much worse (but more fun) build now, and I STILL dont have problems beating these other warriors in WvW or sPvP. Kitten man.
The other day in sPvP I fought a really, really good War running this build. He got me twice, and I was getting frustrated. Then I realized why, because, he wasn’t using this build to beat me.
Confused?
He was using the build as a mere tool, a means to turn his skill into results. The build was not carrying him, the build was allowing him to utilize his own ability to predict my behavior, and react accordingly. And he was good at it, blocking, dodging, stunning perfectly. He had it down.
As soon as I realized this after my 2nd death, I started really fracking with him, hard. I became unpredictable, doing random moves and maneuvers in the fight, turning to run and earthshakering over my shoulder, pausing and standing still like an earthshaker was coming, causing him to blow his block, meanwhile im really typing /dance… suddenly he was the predictable one. His only real win condition was to skullcrack/100b me and that’s all he could really aim for. I bagswapped a GS before one fight, and when he skullcrack me, swapped, and started 100b, I popped endure pain, swapped, and 100b’d him right back. He was so surprised (and 100b takes a second to cancel) he ate nearly the entire thing.
I didn’t lose any more fights to him.

Warriors don’t need protection. Arenanet needs to nerf protection, the boon. Protection is currently so powerful warriors suffer for not having any real access to it. Make it max out at 33% damage reduction instead of pushing classes up into crazy numbers.
warriors are the ones you send to the front lines. The meat shield. You do not expect them to come back without a few broken bones and gashes.
Your warrior, is meant to die a glorious and brutal death on the field in order to pave the way for the rest of us.
Totally agree, I just want to be able to take some of them with me.
Well played players can be very effective with warriors.
Give the Water works a break. In all honesty, many classes need some serious help.

Being effective and being useful are 2 different things. An axe can cut down a tree but a chainsaw is better at it. The entire warrior community is gonna hop on that learn to play thing. People like you are funny and wrong.
Idea: Warriors don’t get a downstate. Any player downed by a warriors crit dies instantly.

Other classes don’t have the damage potential warriors do. When your class can do 8k+ damage on rabid gear with one ability you can call me.
The only reason warriors aren’t shining is because they get shut down before they can unleash carnage. Let one run loose, people will die faster than if you let a thief do so.
LOL warriors are constantly on the bottom. You really think its player skill that is shutting all warriors down before they can be effective? Arena-net is terrified of giving them the skills to be interesting. Having a warrior on your team is a liability. Warriors are the easiest targets. Groups still look at us as a free rally for their team. There are other classes that can be played by average players better then a truely good player on a warrior. The only reason some of us have seen any kind of improvement lately is because poison isn’t actually working properly. This gives warriors the illusion of slightly more sustain. The fact that Warriors are the absolute least played class in tpvp is proof they need to be seriously looked at. Imagine a starcraft tournament with no zerg players. Nobody would doubt the balance is off.
I think if they actually fixed issues like Earthshaker missing because someone is standing on steps or because it was used from a higher point. OR eviscerate missing because someone simply walked out of its way. Adding in the constant blinds, protection buffs, and lack of sustain is what is keeping warriors in a bad place. An active dodge or block should be what allows competent players to avoid skills like these.
I like the idea of this. Give warriors different ways to use their adrenaline.
If you really want to help the teams that are losing on every map add supply to the spawns of the teams with no orbs. They keep the free supply until they get an orb back. That will at least make it more difficult for one team to hold every other team to 1 supply depot because of supply issues. It would also make it more difficult for the team that controls everything to keep the losing teams pinned to their spawns.
