Our guild, The Renaissance [RISE], is a newly-formed, global, social PvX guild hailing from Darkhaven (NA). We have a laid-back community and we welcome people from all time-zones and are open to cross-server players as well. Currently our prime gaming time is between late SEA and early EU at around 12:30 GMT to 19:30 GMT, but we will be looking to expand it with our recruitment. We have no constraints on representation.
We are happy to take in new and experienced players alike who love to explore, enjoy random adventures, help others within the guild, and work as part of a team. Our belief is that everyone can benefit from this initiative regardless of their experience whilst maintaining an atmosphere of healthy fun and enjoyment.

They haven’t addressed our concerns:

• new players get so much beter value for money than existing players for the same amount of money, ie: existing players are being made to subsidise new players.
• not including a character slot in an expac that adds a class unless they pre-purchase is just screwing your playerbase.

P.P.S.: I also feel a little sorry for my friend who just bought this game about one week ago, when he could get GW2+HoT for the same price just a little later.

It was stated that the devs would upgrade you if you recently bought the game, if you send in a support ticket asking them to do so. So, tell him to submit a support ticket and he’ll probably get HoT as well.

Hey, Can u specify where it is stated? And is there any mention of what “recently” means , like an actual date maybe?

Hi, I bought this game for the first time 5 days ago. I feel very cheated now seeing that the original game will be included in this expansion. I’m a student and can’t afford to fork out cash like this, I have very limited income atm.

There are very many people like this, people i know, people i asked to join the amazing ride not just a couple of weeks back. I feel really bad. Really really kittenty. I hate that i am put in this position. I regret spreading word to my friends about the new expansion.

As a player who bought this game a year ago, i feel i played every penny worth of the original game which i payed for and am ready to buy the new expansion at the current price #worthit . Buuuuut, what about the person who bought the game last week? Why would he have purchased the game a week ago if this was gonna happen? I feel really really bad for those players who bought recently hoping to play this amazing game. If the staff who put up the price tag don’t feel the same about it, i don’t know what else to say.
