Tried again on another race just to confirm it was not due to the vertically challenged Asura. With testing other pet’s it appears to be confined to the Bristleback only leading to my belief it may be intentional?

Noticed this during the personal story tutorial. Unsure if it is a trait of the pet, if it’s an isolated incident, or if it is a bug.
The Juvenile Bristleback becomes extremely massive when the Signet of the Wild is used.
Got the The Lover from one of the regular mobs hiding behind the bubble insta death shields in the TA dungeon, was quite the shock.
From what i heard rune of the ranger works with mesmer clones and necro minions too, and they also work with minis. And if you are a ranger they work even if your pet is dead.
Rune of the Ranger, im assuming we’re talking about Superior runes, only apply the final bonus of +7% dmg IF the Ranger’s pet is active, in other words the pet cannot be dead or you lose the bonus.
– edited because i’m not sure if Minis do not count for sure, I was merely going off of an assumption and hearsay from other players, my apologies.

I didn’t know if it was important i just found it odd and since something weird happened maybe mentioning details would have proved useful?
My assumption was that the party member died, so Detha would revive them which inspired Detha to come along for the ride. I don’t know how it happened, but omiting details of the story would have been silly.
I did want to replicate it because it would have been handy, I gave it more attention because it is clearly some kind of bug and I wanted clarification if it was allowed or not, I want them to fix it if it’s an exploit but if not i’ll use it.
As it stands I won’t attempt to repeat it.
No need for personal attacks Vert Was just a call for clarification on an issue.
It happened once as a fluke, at the hands of 2 of the party members who had clearly planned on doing it. I was simply along for the ride.
I think I’ll go with my gut and with what most replies have said that it is an exploit and I’ll just spend the extra 10 minutes doing all the paths.
Thanks for the speedy response.
I found it funny at the time but now its hurting my brain because I want to know how to replicate it to do it again but I don’t want to be busted on cheating or exploiting a game bug.
I’m not sure if this has been raised in the past as an issue or previous solved, but this is the first time I’ve come across this ever happening while on my daily AC run and I would appreciate some clarification.
I just finished my AC run, all 3 paths but it only took me 2 runs.
Our group, it was a PuG group I used LFG, ran P1 normally (Hodgin’s path).
Afterward we left the instance and rejoined to run P3 (Tzark’s path), we killed the spider and moved onto Lieutenant Kholar without first choosing our path. So after killing him the doors to move onto the Lovers Crypt were closed. I’m not completely sure what happened next to allow this happen but after choosing a path Deetha, the NPC who tags along for P2 was in the Lovers Crypt with us.
We finished P3 killing the final boss, and instead of leaving the instance 2 party members port to a WP in that big hall where you fight Ghost Eater, they tell the other party members, me included to join them. When i arrived Deetha had set up her traps and was fighting off the ghosts. I was completely surprised but i decided to roll with it because it would save me the 10 minutes to run P2 afterwards. We kill Ghost Eater rewarding me 40 tokens and 1.5 gold.
Long story short, we ran P1 followed by P3 which somehow also included the Ghost Eater. My question or concern is, is this allowed, and if so how the heck was this accomplished?
My apologies if this mess makes no sense.

I don’t mean to trash or defend the Dailies at all that’s been done plenty already.
I’m curious however, if others share the same disappointment I do with the events in the open world.
The new Dailies force a particular map to become swarmed with players searching for events to do. This is amazing, players are going out and doing these events which I’m sure were rarely completed. This being said the events in question would be enjoyable for a group of maybe 3 people. I was under the impression that the open world events would scale in difficulty to the player base involved. My assumption therefore being if one person stumbles across it one person will be able to complete it, and as such if 10 people come across it 10 people will be able to complete it with a similar amount of difficulty.
In my personal opinion the events scale horribly and are rendered an unenjoyable mess as 20 players face a measly force of 5 mobs which die before the majority can even tag them. Or worse, a timed event where you have to defend for X amount of time but instead end up sitting around for X amount of time because the mobs spawning in opposition wouldn’t be able to bend grass. The open world events should be something we enjoy, I’m not asking for champion spawns and loot and chests, I just want to enjoy playing the game.
Does anybody else share my opinion? Are the open world events lackluster due to the higher volume of players involved?
Who remembers this?

I’d be curious to see what the breakdown is like just over 2 years later.
Anybody have any guesses as to the most popular race? class?
Personally I think it will quite similar, perhaps with less separation between the races.
Suppose I may as well put my name in, whats the worst that can happen.
Thank you for being so generous.
