I don’t get it. This game has always catered to casuals. The hard core commutnity should thank their lucky stars that Anet finally decided to throw them a bone with raids. I mean, if your the type of person who likes difficult content, why did you ever start playing GW2? Has it ever pretended to be anything but casual (correct me if I’m wrong, I only started playing 2 years ago)? It’s like you decided to eat salad but keep expecting it to turn into a steak. I REALLY hate having to say this (and it’s been said a million times elsewhere) but, if you want more of a challenge, play something else. You got raids. Don’t ask Anet to turn open world PVE (they won’t) into what casuals will find to be a massive, unfun pain in the kitten .
I haven’t seen any issues with the 4 grount targeting showign wrong stuff, neither I had any issues with 3 not going to any places recently
Do I really need to say this? Just because YOU don’t experience these issues doesn’t mean other people don’t. What’s point of anyone listing things that DO work as intended for them? Not trying to be a kitten but it’s like – “Hey guys! Look at all the problems I’m NOT having!”. Not very useful.
And lastly skill 4 has a “bugged?” ground target animation where a circle appears instead of the straight “vine line”.
I have the same issue. On first boot up and occasionally after a map change the first casting of staff 4 gives me a circle instead of the vine live.
But no matter – it’s so dang slow it never hits anything that’s not stationary.

But KITTEN! Every time there’s a new patch there are some issues, as to be expected, and they fix it within an hour. This – nothing. I kept expecting the “new build available” msg ingame aaaaaaaaaand nothing. They hotfix the kitten out of little things in new patches but this is what, not important enough?
The quickdraw is used with bonfire. I will sometimes run this with a warhorn to use Call of the Wild for more boons, and if switched to right after using Bonfire, the blast finisher gives me an additional 3 might. CA #4 with GotL trait adds to dps, or you can use Ancient Seeds with anything that procs it for more Condi. If you feel too squishy I recommend Celestial trinkets (especially if you haven’t done the achievements to unlock the Sinister ascended trinkets) and that will boost your heals too. Heal skill is interchangeable depending on situation, and if your target is stationary, Sun Spirit is probably a better choice over Spike trap.

I use this power build, it works well for me, especially for breakbars.
I get that too sometimes. Also – If I open with the #2 skill the AA doesn’t kick in until I click it. On LB if I engage with any skill the AA will follow on its own.
I never get hit by those dumb roots. Rarely do they do the job they are supposed to.
It’s a weird cast for sure, and then it takes its slow @ $ $ time as it travels across the ground.
If you are in a good group fight in pvp, where everyone is running in circles, GOOD luck getting that to hit anyone or anything.
This is just like every mmo before. They give you a cool form of CC but then decide, that they need to give everyone a way to ignore it or get out of it. It’s happened in most if not all the mmos I’ve played in the last 15 years
I think you’re talking about the staff 4, not the Elite skill or the Grandmaster trait.
I’ve suddenly been getting really messed up screen glitch issues out of nowhere. Repairing through terminal does nothing. Playing on an Mac Book Pro late 2013. Gets so bad that I can’t play since i can’t see anything. Screenshot below.
