Hiya, I am sure this wasn’t intentional, and was just an oversight. But Ellen has gone AWOL in LA with the latest patch – I assume hiding in her office from all the Refugees? Making it rather difficult for myself, and a few other people to complete their lovely Dreamer precursor collections. Not particularly useful when the expansion is just around the corner and Rev has just been revealed to have short bow

Just something that came to my attention that is, by all means not really important, but rather irritating – the different legend buffs (Glint, Ventari, Jalis, etc) aren’t very consistent in their design – whether they aren’t implemented properly or not I am not sure.
Some of them have small black outlines around the edge of the buff icon (When applied to your rev) and some are just ‘full screen’. I am aware that a LOT of the different buffs in the game suffer from this inconsistency but it would at least be nice for all of the legend buffs to match. ;D

Yeah, I agree, and don’t get me wrong – I adore what the Norn are, they are by far my favorite race, I wouldn’t want them to be humans by any stretch of the imagination. But they are literally all exactly the same shape which is quite dull. You would think that given that they take on the form of animals that are not so muscular but are quite lithe -raven, wolf, and snow leopard- that their bodies would mimic those physiques. In fact there are more distinctly un-muscular animals that occupy their core alternate forms than there are that mimic such bulk.
Any way- this isn’t just about Norn, that’s just what I would like. There are plenty of other cosmetic things that could be added like horns/ears/tattoos/skinpatterns than just new hair/colours and faces. These things even lend themselves to being bundled together with the makeover kits.
I fully understand that it might take a bit of work to accommodate for different sizes of body etc too.

Hi there, something that has bothered me since launch is the completely unvaried body types available for all races. I think that this problem stems largely from the different body types available currently only changing the muscle mass, and not the actual shape of the body. Male Norn are affected particularly badly by this, I mean – they are already pretty hulk-like as it is, it would be GREAT to introduce some new body types for them – hopefully some builds that don’t make their head look absolutely tiny. Female humans also suffer from this – either their breasts get bigger or their hips do.
I was curious if other people felt the same way about this? I can only hope that one day ANet will grant my wish and I can have some gloriously normal looking male Norn that don’t look like they’ve been using steroids for the majority of their life!

Hi all, was just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same issues as me, ever since the latest patch (Seeds of Truth) I am seeing this really low res shadow/texture detail in the distance of environments. I run everything at it’s highest settings, and haven’t experienced it before. I was wondering if there is a setting I can change to make it.. well, not do this any more? Interesting! It was switched off, there is no application controlled for it, unfortunately but I just switched it on and hopped around in game for a few minutes, it seems to have stopped. I will check thoroughly later though!
Yep yep, updated the NVidia drivers just the other day, they are definitely uptodate. And yep did a completely clean install just a few hours ago. I am really stumped.
Bumping to see if there is a fix for this, still having this issue.
Edit: Also thought I might add that I tried a fresh install today to no avail.
Yep, temps are fine, they never reach temps to even start worrying about. It happens consistently throughout play as well, it doesn’t just start after a period of time, I forgot to mention that.

I also notice that it seems to only happen on cliff faces and the like. I just ran into it happening again and fiddled with my video settings, it appears that it has something to do with Shaders. After turning Shaders down to medium, the blue.. things… seemed to vanish and haven’t ran into any since. So /shrug.
It’s not gamebraking by any means, just mildly irritating. Anyhow, I can survive with medium shaders for now. o/

I’m not sure whether many others (If anyone else) are having this problem, but when I move around the game (No matter where I am) I sometimes have strange blue shapes appear in and disappear very quickly in the environment. I’m running settings at their highest and getting around 60 FPS consistently (Although that dropped to about 30-40 when recording).

I’ve tried running the game on low settings (Best performance) and that seemed to fix it. So it definitely seems to be something with the higher settings. I’ve tried taking the settings up individually, but can’t quite seem to narrow it down due to it’s random occurrences.

Not sure if this has been solved yet, but there is a way to do this! On your mini-map, there is a arrow-like button when you hover your cursor on the map. Click this to enable rotation, make sure you are zoomed out when you click it though, because for me it wouldn’t let me click until I was. Enjoy!
