Erm some of you guys are typing stuff like payback etch etch, as if you re teaching someone a lesson of some sort. You re not teaching anything.

What you should attempt to teach yourselves is, for anyone that cares about the ladder, there is only one Numero Uno spot and you aint it.

Same as Piken never “had it” to be second in the league , you aint “got it” to be first. You never did.
For those that care more about the pvp keep enjoying the rest of the matchup and the rest of the season.

I think all this stacking of guilds on the same server is a sign of nothing interesting going on below tier 1.
Which in turn points to an unhealthy game.
Otherwise why would people prefer massive queues , if they could find healthy action elsewhere.
I have no idea how things are on the US side but over here it doesnt look good.

But globally I know when Deso is up and full that we gonna have a harder time than against your full server.

Maybe you can see or feel that…. some days on prime time -like yesterday- because we are forced to cover different time zones all the big guilds ,cause of VZ night-morning action. For example, yesterday prime time some guilds had day off.

This is correct. Sfr’s primetime presence lately is a direct result of counter capping vizunah, which probably means playing in off hours etch.

Lets be honest here, positive comments about deso from vizunah are an indirect result of sfr’s attitude towards their server.

I understand perfectly, i dont like sfr anymore either, too many whispers of “effing kitten #8221; and “kitten” on top of various colourful posts.

It is my opinion that sfr holds the lead, on all fronts.

Everyone thinkiny that there is the slightest colaboration between sfr and deso are just simply delusional.

Moving towards better arguments WL was really nice how you guys fought last night.We couldn’t touch garri last night but a decent part of that is to be atributed to IRON that just wouldn’t stop focusing us.Strange tactic since reason dictates that VS is their prime enemy this week fighting for the spot in t1 but all in all was a real fun night on VS bl.I would say reset on this bl was a draw draw in both keeps hold and wipes between all the 3 participants and many 3 way fights.

Unfortunately sfr was the only server that didn’t have a 1 mega guild on the map and our forces were always divided but i certainly can’t blame 2 big guilds like wl and iron that they prefer to play as one.
Gl guys and keep the good fights commuing.

We took both your lake and hills since you guys decided to focus our bay straight away from the start of the reset when we were going for woodhaven. Specifically RIOT guild, after they tried and failed miserably we thought kitten this you want to focus us we take your lake and hills =D.

There is much talk of an alliance between SFR and Deso, so I am here to set the record straight.

There is and never will be any alliance between Desolation and any, I repeat, ANY other server/guilds.

There are times when it may seem like it, unfortunately that is just the way the game is played. Deso and VS are fighting for survival in T1.. we don’t want to drop, and naturally VS don’t want to either. This means it is natural that we fight each other, and put pressure on. If any other server a in VS’s position it would still be the exact same situation as we find ourselves in today.

At the end of the day, Deso will do exactly what it always does… fighting the odds vastly outnumbered and weary from the long hours we all play, to try and make that little bit of extra effort count for something. We will never go down quietly or roll over and be another servers lapdog. We have pride in our server that despite all the odds we are still competitive.

One day soon, Desolation will be where it rightfully should be, standing top of T1, surrounded by the pixelated corpses of all the haters and enemies that stood in our way. Until that day comes, enemies beware, we will fight all comers, we may lose, we may win, but will we never surrender

In my opinion it is debateable whether Deso can even be considered a tier 1 server.

Posts like the above , create temper between Sfr and Deso. Although i know that he doenst reflect Deso’s opinion , i cant just leave it unreplied . Firstly , is not kind to use troll words like unemployed ,because we dont simple like their way of doing WvW….Yes we want them out of T1 cause of that, but comments like “unemployed people” are @least childish. Second , because i dont know , would you like to show me ,what will happens with equal numbers? You have a point it is a troll post and it does create bad temper between sfr and deso, although probably some of the bad temper has already been created in the previous days/week.

It does not represent Deso’s opinion, it also does not represent Iron’s opinion, in case you ’re wondering “Eternal Iron” is a sister guild that plays exclusively in EB.

I get the feeling that some of the times a native Sfr comments on liking Deso they subtly make a distinction between the server and my guild and it makes me genuinely sad, for non natives it doesnt interest me that much.
About the “90 man blobs and tactics” i keep seeing, dont know what to really say to that, i hope one day people will realise those numbers dont exist and stop exaggerating.

Because right now all it looks like is making excuses not to GvG after their last loss to WL.

There’s a logical flaw here. “We’ll GvG as soon as team is ready” equals to “We are not ready yet” equals to “we’ll underperform if we’d GvG now”. And you seem to be saying that there’s some other reason that above is covered with. What it could even be?

GH for instance took almost a week off of active WvW roaming not a while ago because after number of the fights back then we thought that we do not perform at the level we’d like to and there are activities outside WvW raid roaming and some analysis was required that would help address this issue. And we are not a huge guild that is basically a server’s WvW backbone unlike IRON so it didn’t took a lot of time.

I didn’t see IRON claiming superiority in GvG therefore I don’t see any problem here.

That is correct, Iron never claimed any kind of superiority in GvG or anywhere else for that matter.
What happened is this.
Red Guard does 2 things mainly , GvG events and busting larger forces with their regular team of 30-35.
On one day , last week, the latter didnt work out as regularly as they would like, for whatever reason, lag being among them as they have stated.
This was received as an insult so now they feel their superiority needs to be re asserted
and we re down to the old "come at me , lets go now , you and me , mano a mano ".

Personally i just dont care.
Now dont get me wrong , Red Guard’s promotion of GvG is a worthy cause , it promotes a balanced game mode in what is otherwise an unbalanced game(outside of tpvp).
But their rhetoric of honour , respect etch is nothing more than a facade, maintained to facilitate said promotion. If their true face showed more often as it has recently , general interest in GvG would be less.

The players have the power to make or break the fun in a game too. Until they fix things, you could decide to run with as much people to not create too much lag. Or not.

Reading your post makes me feel as if there was an invitation/challenge to a sort of GvG
event, to which the Deso response was “lets make a zerg and lag them to death”.
I may be mistaken and not have all the facts, but i knew of no such thing.

On that note let me describe my first encounter with a RG scenario premade team in Warhammer.
I was new at the game, RR 67-68 at the time , and me and my scrub undergeared and lower RR premade happened upon Red Guard. We did not quit, we did not hide at the spawn.
We came out to fight.
They procceded to wipe us and then ./gloat and ./laugh over our bodies.

Fun? Admittedly it was fun for someone.
Honour? Respect? I saw none of that.

I see the leader of Red Guard posting about “Iron fiction” and “iron claims of winning” .
Would you care to elaborate?
Any examples of those kind of claims?

-On a sidenote, glad to see Sacrx’s posts have not changed much in the past 5 years. Some things should remain a constant, otherwise the world would plunge in to chaos.

My point was – do not blame other servers for blobbing, if even your
own server do the same blobbing time to time.
I’ll repeat (hope googletranslate helps): Absolutely all servers
sometimes use huge blobs. And Vizu, and Sfr, and even Deso.
I respect IRON guild (very skillful and organized – no doubts) who well known as major (main) WvW force of Desolation server.
But i don’t respect individuals who using “double standards” (hope it
translated correctly) – that’s my point.

And i don’t understand why my words about GvG looks so offensive for
you. Two best guilds (its just imo) of Desolation – The Iron Triangle
[IRON] and Golden Horde [GH]. We identifies those guilds among others,
and want to fight them. (GvG is perfectly fit – no skills lag, equal numbers, no sieges and so on)

I am the one that should be apologising, i misinterpreted your post and thought it expressed hostility.
You should not feel the need to apologise for google translate or your english, this is clearly my mistake and i apologise for that.

I understand what you mean abou the word “blob” but i dont think my guildmate had the intention of insulting any Sfr players, least of all Za Drots.

Please understand that Iron and the whole of Desolation are in a position where we have to fight for the score.
Personally i would prefer to loose an equal match against you and learn something, than winning with more numbers. There is no satisfaction in numbers, no sense of accomplishment.

The whole Deso map runing as one HUGE blob (insane skill lags included).
First raid of ZDs (28 ppl) had fun with you, and ZDs second raid (25 ppl) just fighting at Hills vs Vz and took objectives.

I checked with my bank and the card i am using is valid.
The same card has been used before succesfully to purchase gems from your in game store.
