Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the video, taught me alot!

Yes, most of those are geared for lvl 80.

Looking for some PvE build suggestions. I love the versatility with the Engineer but with that comes so many ways to play. So far I tend to alternate between P/P and Rifle depending on whichever kills the fastest. I’m not really into chunking grenades full time (though I do like the toolbelt skill).

I use turrets when I’m going after something tough and need a little extra Umph…or perhaps blindness from the flame turret

Suggestions would be appreciated.

I like them both, ended up choosing the charr though!

Newish Eng, level 30 which I just love coming from a relatively “vanilla” Warrior. I’ve read/heard about making/using our own combo fields but I’m really ignorant of exactly how they work and how I can utilize them myself. I know about the flame thrower combo field and I do put it up for friendlies to shoot through but that is it. On a separate but related note, I’d also love to know how blast finishers work.

I agree with the op. I’m a veteran mmo player but a casual. Just did AC in my warrior last week with no pre research. It w was difficult but I found it berry enjoyable because I had to do some thinking!. Ended up being nearly a full support build to help out the team. I could see how this would be a major barrier for a new player.

On a whim I created a charr engineer named Mangled Southpaw. I had no idea I would like the eng so much. Then I made an Asura called Spllatt that I’m also enjoying. No reason to level both but the problem is I can’t decide which I like best! What would you do?

Well, as someone else stated I haven’t been following this game since 2010. I play a warrior and I too have noticed the elite banner doesn’t revive fallen allies. What DOES it do? How does it work?
