1 more thing, do you get Legendary Insight if you kill the Raid boss twice before reset?

Just to clerify, in ‘server time’ instead (for easy spot)
- What time does the guild mission reset?
- What time does the raid reset?
- What time does the daily fractal reset?

Hi guys, just wanted to ask about the legendary armor for Raid; Perfected Envoy Armor.
So basically as far as I know, there are 2 achievements for this;
1st – Envoy Armor I
2nd – Envoy Armor II

My question is, does that mean that you’ll get 2 set of full ascended armors?
1 of which is the precursor and the other one isn’t?

Like is it possible after completing Envoy Armor I achievement, I choose the Light-set armor (give it to my mesmer) and for Envoy Armor II achievement, I choose the Heavy-set (which in turn later on will be transformed into Legendary Armor)?

Correction: We never killed (or even seen) Jormag. The World Boss in Frostgorge Sound is the Claw of Jormag, just one of its champions.

That said, yes, we have been killing Elder Dragons up until now, but then we discovered that killing Elder Dragons also actually destroys the world. So now we have to come up with a method of putting them back to sleep without killing them.
However, Balthazar (evil God edition) doesn’t care one bit about the world and wants to kill the Elder Dragons to steal their power for himself. So, afer he failed (thanks to our intervention) to kill both Primordus and Jormag back in episode 5, now he wants to go after Kralkatorrik. Guess who will have to stop him again?

You need 2900 tickets to finish the legendary. Overall it will take 400-500 game hours to finish or 18weeks. Assuming you start from no wxp, by the time you finish the legendary you will be around 500-700rank.The same amount of game time it take to finish other legendaries.

A lot of players are not taking into consideration the loyal pip after 3 weeks of playing on your server and the extra pip you gain after you level to bronze/silver. If a new player only plays 10hrs a week it will take ~12weeks to hit bronze. That will reduce the amount of time you have to play wvw to get the weekly ticket limit.

The problem is that you can not do anything to speed up the process of getting the legendary with the weekly cap of 175 tickets. A-net should make diamond repeatable for ticket. Did Anet do something similar to that for spvp?

- Legendary Fractal Backpack Ad Infinitum = 1 Month ~1h per day for 100cm + 3 rec
- Legendary PvP Backpack The Ascension = 2-3 seasons. ~30-45 min per day.
- Legendary Armor = 12 weeks. ~3-4h per WEEK.
- Legendary WvW Backpack Warbringer = 16 weeks, 3-4hrs per day. (Assuming you earn an average of 5 pips per 5 minutes)

How long does it take a pve player to craft a legendary weapon without any help from people and no gem to gold conversion?

Personally for me 1 month+ for sunrise (that was back during those days where you need to mystic the precursor and I got really lucky with the dawn). The T6 mats I just purchase from gold I made from dungeon. Back during those days dungeons gives quite a hefty amount of gold per run? Daily AC 1,2,3 CM 1,2,3 TA ff uu, CM 1,3 COF 1,2…… yeah I think that’s abt it for dungeons. (Dungeons needs 5 people so I’m not sure if that’s counted as without any help from people. Then again it’s not like you can solo WvW and capture entire keeps………. or can you…….). Map completion in Tyria can be completed within 2 weeks+

My wife tried for nevermore and top about 2 months+. Fractals for gold and farm those woods in tyria maps >_<. Lots…… and LOTS….. of woods. And of course the HOT map completion (Dragon stand requires you to clear the map and that is once again…… with the help of people)

Keeping in mind that you’d need about a minimum of at least 2 Seasons of PvP (due to the restriction of ‘Daily League Participator’ to craft the legendary PvP Backpack ‘The Ascension’

and

A minimum of at least 38 days (due to the need of Fractal Pages which can only be obtained max 3 per day) to craft the legendary Fractal Backpack ‘Ad Infinitum’.

So…….. to sum up……
- Ad Infinitum (Legendary Fractal Backpack) = 1 month+ of game time
- The Ascension (Legendary PvP Backpack) = 2 months+ of game time (Assuming it takes 1 month+ before next season start)

So in total, for the precursor alone, you would need;
- 350 + 525 + 700 + 875 (still need to be verified according to site) WvW Skirmish tickets.
For the Essence Of Annihilation, you would need;
- 350 WvW Skirmish tickets.
So in total, you would need 2,800 tickets.

Total WvW Skirmish tickets you can get per week;
Wood 10, Bronze 15, Silver 20, Gold 25, Platinum 30, Mithril 35, Diamond 40
Making that a total of 175 tickets.

(Please correct me if my calculations and facts are off)

Assuming you play every week farming those pips up ‘till end chest Diamond regardless of your WvW Rank and world’s performance, you’d need about 16 weeks! Which is 4 months in total! Is that about right?

I chose the rata sum backpack knowing that i’’ll get another backpack selection on my other character who will be turning ‘4’ this year as well.

and it’s not always when you’re in the party and most vote kick.

Event groups;
Commander and Lieutenant can just kick you.
Or when you have a friend inside that group, invites you in but before you can click accept, someone from the group ‘kicked’ you out. It’s still being displayed as ’You’re kicked’. It’s just too…..

My question is, can you sort the guilds?
For example, if at the moment the guilds I joined are sorted as follows;

g4 = DGW,
g5 = EGW.

Is there a way for me to change it to;
g1 = BGW,

It’s about the legendary backpack ‘The Ascension’ (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Ascension)

Now, in order to make the precursor of the Ascension, one would need Wing Of Ascension (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Wings_of_Ascension). To make it, you would need to purchase the Recruit (10), Veteran (20), Champion (30) and League (40) Wings Of Glory which would cost a total of 100 PvP League Tickets.

From what I read, the reward for PvP League Tickets (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/PvP_League_Ticket) are given per league clearance. League I (15), League II (20), League III (20), League IV (20), League V (25); which makes a total of 100 PvP tickets that can be used to make the Wing Of Ascension.

Now that’s fine. The issue is; part of making the backpack ‘The Ascension’, you would require Gift of skirmishing (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Skirmishing) which you would need 5 Certificate of support (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Certificate_of_Support) which is sold for 5 PvP Tickets each from the NPC.

My question is…… where on EARTH are u suppose to get the extra 25 PvP Tickets. Please let me know if there’s something wrong with my math.

To all the pvp experts here, I’d like to ask with regards to getting the legendary backpack ‘The Ascension’. A few questions I’d like to ask;

Am new to the pvp system, so I’m still trying to figure out ‘how it works’.
So I pull out the achievement (H -> achievements -> competitive -> Year Of The Ascension I till IV).

1st – Now the thing is, I assume we would need to compete in the ‘ranked’ match yes? So I click on the PvP Icon, first thing I see is Enter, Play and Compete. Now I assume in order to fill up on that ‘Year Of The Ascension I’, I need to play ‘Compete’ instead of ‘Play’, but the thing is, today I just got my first win in ‘Compete’ but none of the bar/achieve got filled in ‘Year Of The Ascension I’. Is it because it is not league yet? (Which will start on 10th August?). So that means, if I press on Compete and win a match when it’s not league yet, it will be treated like an ‘unranked match’?

2nd – Any recommended class for pvp noob?
Easy to play, tough to kill? At the moment I’d settle for just ‘tough to kill’ since I’m very new to pvp (pve player here). I assume tough ones would be PVT guardian? But let me know if anyone has a better suggestion via their experience.

3rd – Celestial gear
I was told that celestial gear was removed from pvp. Now my question is, do we need to have a secondary set in pvp? secondary armor/runes/sigil/weapons, etc? What happens if I bring a character with celestial gear? Will all that status be ‘nulled’ during a pvp match?

4th – About the PvP League
So maximum at the moment there are 6 Divisions? And say Division I (Amber); to complete that tier, there are about 5 tiers with 3 bars each. How does that fill? 1 win = 1 bar? Also, can it decrease/increase according to win/loses?

Is there any command we can type or site we can check whether it is day or night in gw2 other then just ‘looking up the sky’ or ’equipping AC wpn -_-.

This is actually about Astralaria t4 achieve where you need to use Celestial Cartographer’s Gear to collect the star charts. I literally had to park my character in 1 spot waiting for it to go till ‘night time’ -_-.

Hi all, I’m a member of FOTM and would recommend it to everyone who likes running fractals and to everyone with a good attitude. I leveled most of my levels from 30+ to 40+ with FOTM guild (pre-reset).

I love the guild. Many people are experienced and at the worst case, someone can bring an alts more suitable for the job/party composition. Also, I don’t worry about rage quitters, or if I might get insta-kicked near the end of the run.

Very helpful guild. The leaders are also good people, and are happy to help you out. Most of the members are friendly and the leaders does not tolerate any insults inside the guild.

FOTM is an interesting guild. Occasionally I get random PMs if I want to run Fractals level so and so, no need to reply if you’re busy, and it happens also even at odd times where no one seems to be playing so it’s a good way to find groups.

Guild’s System;
Ranking Of the guild is based on your FOTM Personal Fractal Level to ensure easier group matching during your FOTM runs. Please note that these ranks only applies to those who reps the guild;
- Fractal Squire (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level ranges between 0-19)
- Fractal Soldier (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level ranges between 20-39)
- Fractal Knight (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level ranges between 40-59)
- Fractal Captain (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level ranges between 60-79)
- Fractal Master (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level ranges between 80-99)
- Fractal Maker (which indicates that your Personal Fractal Level has reached 100)

Those who do not wish to represent the guild will only attain the following rank;
- Fractal Helper (only for members that wishes to help with the Guild bounties, trek, puzzle, etc.)

Guild Utilization;
- You can use guild chat and say ‘LFG FOTM88’ for instance or ‘LF3M FOTM88’. If you do not get a response, what we do is usually we would PM specific ranks ‘LF3M FOTM88’. In this instance, since what you’re asking is for a 88 run, we would message those who are ranked as ‘Fractal Master’ as their Personal Fractal Level ranges between 80-99. Alternatively you could also ask higher ranks as well as they might want to farm their dailies since they presumably can not only open the higher fractal level but also have the required Agony Resistance to farm those levels. To copy your message so that you don’t have to retype it, you can use CTRL+A (highlight all), CTRL+C (copy all) followed by CTRL+V (paste). So just whisper those specific ranks and CTRL+V your messages. Alternatively, you can also press the UP arrow key.
- (Changing your ranks) Whenever you have reached a higher Personal Fractal Level in increments of 20s, be sure to contact ‘Fractal Founder’ or ‘Fractal Herald’ rank so that your rank can be changed according to your Personal Fractal Level. The guild’s ranking system is based on Personal Fractal Level for easy grouping. When you mail them however, please also include your GW2 username. [For example; Hi there, my username is ABC.1234, I have currently obtained Personal Fractal Level 40, please change my rank to Fractal Knight, thanks]

- Will help with farming FOTM fractal/pristine relics!

Guild’s Attitude;
- Friendly, open to discussions about FOTM (it’s difficulty, suitable build, loots, etc.)
- Appreciate each of the member’s strength instead of focusing on their weakness.
- No vulgarity, offensive term back-stabbling another player’s reputation during your stay in the guild! No name callings, no gender discrimination, no class discrimination or whatsoever. We’re trying to build a family-oriented guild! Patience is virtue!
- No elitism! No rage quitters! No insults! No bad-mouthing! (Offenders will be reprimanded swiftly)
- Learn to be a champion, play like a winner, act with class!
- Joke as much as you want but during appropriate moments!
- When someone d/c, wait for them to appear back online first, no KICKing allowed unless that person d/c-ed for a long time (Give it a 20 mins limit)!
- We encourage PIMP-ing your loots in FOTM (Only to serve as a motivation for other members to want to run more FOTMs, NOT to compete in a sense that you’re better then them or that they should just quit because their luck and skill both suck!)
