We do PvE and Guild Mission but most of all…..

We are a guild specialized on frequent fractal runs.

- Must be able to speak english as FOTM requires good team co-ordination to complete.
- Co-operative, patient and friendly to others who have not yet done FOTM before!
- Must have a passion for running the dungeon; no quitters, AFK-ers, patient players who are willing to learn.
- Be active in the game (People with 3 months inactivity will be automatically released from the guild)

What’s the best setting on the MBA 11 inch that I could play with GW2 on this machine? Please update me for those who has tried it? I’ve seen other threads but they were running on MBA 11 inch core i7 instead of i5. I need an apple to apple comparison. I would like the result on both mac OS as well as bootcamp if possible.

So, that means drinking 80 will get us 100% (In theory)
However, does it work like that in practice?

Does +Healing Power attribute effects ‘personal healing’ ?
(I assume it effects personal healing AND group healing but tell me if im wrong)

Okay basically I want to something that can heal myself and party members.
I was wondering if there’s any other weapon aside from staff that can achieve this (or even better)

I have a mesmer and she’s using 1st set GS, 2nd set sword+focus
All Zerk status.

Thinking of creating a secondary mesmer but perhaps with staff build?
and maybe 2nd set sword + pistol?
(Is there such a build?)

Basically, I wanted to create a totally different build.
Any suggestions? Just make sure it is not the same as the first one.
Also for status, I’m not really keen on Power Precision Condition Dmg.
I mean, I have a nec and he’s using PPCD. So try to make it different status as well?

2nd – No full zerk or full rabid gear.

The only ele I have is ‘staff’ ele that’s used for healing in fractals.

Or perhaps when you go dungeon against the boss (namely ascalonian catacombs)
And your team mate says ‘fgs’ ‘ib’ pls?

1st – How does that work?
Do you like stack and lure the enemy in and spawn fgs and ib ON the enemy itself? And even though it’s not picked up, it can damage the enemy?

2nd – What kind of ele build are usually used for ‘that type’ of fgs and ib build?
- dual dagger?
- staff? (Which i hardly think so)
- scepter + dagger?

3rd – What status should I use for this ele?
- Zerk?
- Celestial?
- Knight?

4th – Can this ele spam might faster then guardian’s staff no.3?
If yes, how?

Well, tbh i discussed this with my guildmate and they said that i made a huge mistake -_-.

Then again of course I understood that it’s all a matter of ‘what you want’ in the end.
But yeah, I guess I wanted to know if there are others out there who would’ve done what I would’ve done.

No offense against eternity but i only dislike the fact that I can’t control the blades color. Sunrise is nice on my guardian (celestial dye + gold dye). Twilight is nice on my warrior (abyss dye + silver dye). Eternity…. well….. it’s like at times I’ll have sunrise on my warrior and twilight on my guardian and that just blows the entire color scheme if you get what I mean.

Then again, I also would want to know if it’s worth it. (as in did I sell it at the right price? And bought juggernaut at the right price?) Because from what I see, eternity keeps going down in price and juggernaut keeps going up in price! (Bolt overtook the juggernaut last I checked by 100g)

Im surprised on how low eternity has gone to though.
And surprised how expensive how the juggernaut has gone up O_o.

The second most annoying thing about under water combat is that things burn. Like why, lol. Surly they should Scald. A logical solution would be to have Scalding as the under water version of burning and have a new under water FX for it, like instead of flames, maybe bubbles or steam or even heat shimmer.

This game allows the slaying of fire based enemy using a ‘fire’ elemental spells; same goes with other elemental enemies using the same kind of elemental spells.

- To kill ‘fire shaman’ using a ‘fire greatsword’

I pointed this out before in a mapchat and someone says;
- Fighting fire with fire
- Just firing out the fire within fire shaman -_-.

There’s also another one I recall (Forgot where it is).
The one with the singing quaggan and 2 quaggan kids running around.
Those tiny stone steps + the singing!!!

- Lord Faren tries to save the queen ‘Fear not my queen, Lord Faren is here!’ Falls down instead
- Scarlet trying to cook Lord Faren by placing him in a big cauldron Literally
- Logan arriving to ‘save’ you only after you’ve dispatched EVERY SINGLE ENEMIES! So he’s only there just to take the credit. Oh wait….. in some instances he DID join you, and although he’s supposed to be a ‘champion’ (face icon marked purple), he got defeated plenty of times by mobs who aren’t even in the veteran league.
- Four Winds; entire map was taken out after the event (No more place to farm crystals unless you get the node or buy it off tp or join someone’s elses instances who’s got the node to farm the crystal)
- SAB (Trib mode FORCES you to buy Infinite continue coin! And after the event is over, you’d chuck the coin inside your bank stash to be used again….. probably next year when they re-install the SAB content again)

I don’t get why anet puts champs on some of the SP -_-

Every time I’ve been forced to fight under water, it’s always a prolonged 5 minute battle where I’m barely staying alive, taking a 3rd of my health every time I’m struck, and barely doing a bit of damage to the enemy.

I kite the enemies to the shore when I can, and at that point I end up killing them in 5 seconds.

I am not even exaggerating.
I spent several minutes fighting these creatures, eventually said “screw this” when I realized they were not even at 75% health, went to the shore, and ended the fight within seconds.

What class are you playing?
If you say thief and you’re hoping to score well against 10+ underwater enemies at the same time, ‘I hear you mate’

Well, this is just from my point of view but it might not be the same as yours.
Still I hope you would consider reading it.

Point of playing a game = Having fun
Definition of ‘having fun’ = get rich in the game or have the best equipments or giving commands to people or having as many lvl80 characters as possible or being accepted into any events/dungeons you join or pimping your latest armor in the game infront of plenty of crowds or showing off that huge mini collection of yours or [your choice].

As for me, I just wanna farm the best equipments because I feel that it’s the first requirement to achieving ‘having fun’. I mean, ever joined a cof dungeon and getting kicked for NOT being in a zerk gear? Or fractals of the mist and getting pwned for not having enough agony resistant?

So I made these goals anyways;
By safest I meant….. ‘most accepted’ anyways.
Safest class/equipment for dungeon (generally speaking) = warrior zerk gear.
Safest class/equipment for fractals (generally speaking) = guardian celestial gear.
Safest class/equipment for world V world (generally speaking) = theif valkery gear.
Safest class/equipment for player V player (generally speaking) = engineer [choice] gear.
Safest class/equipment for events (generally speaking) = ranger [choice] gear.

I mean, some might argue that ele is the best for dungeon (noteably AC) or world v world but like I said….. I just made these goals for ‘generally speaking’ situations. There are only 5 ‘things to do’ anyways in this game. Dungeons, Fractals, WvW, PvP, Events.

Main reason usually;
Dungeons = farm tokens for free weapon/armor skins, good gold reward.
Fractals = ascended back piece item, ascended rings, ascended weapon/armor drops, fractal skins, 20 slot bags for tokens instead of gold.
WvW = good leveling up by following zerg, farm tokens for some wvw skins, lots of ‘titles’, good gold/loots considering your zerg keeps clashing with other people’s zerg.
PvP = good leveling up by exchanging points, various finisher styles.
Events = farming dragonite ores (for ascended weapon/armor/back)

And to be frank, you don’t need to have a legendary weapon to ‘own the best equipment’. Flexible? perhaps, but not necessarily ‘must own’ as it has the same stats as ascended. Also, you might get some free ascended weapons from fractals (though not the stat of your choosing) if you’re lucky.

And if you still think that getting legendary is your goal, then you should do world exploration (you need that Gift of exploration anyways) and those hearts gives quite a ton of EXP. I recall reaching lvl 80 in the past by just exploring 65% of the world (Not including stories and the wvw map). Whatever it is, you need your own definition of ‘having fun’ first. I guess it all starts from there. I’ve got some friends who started this game 2 years ago and they quit 2 weeks later because they just don’t have ‘any aim’. Then again I’ve got some friends who’ve played this game since day 1 and they’re still having fun. If you just started this game, I can understand about what not knowing you want in the end as you’re just ‘exploring’ at the moment but I hope my post helps.

Everyone is too busy doing champion and world boss trains to even bother with all these side random events.

Part of the problem is that there’s no way to know about an event until you stumble onto it or see someone on /yell asking for help…

Another part of the problem is that the rewards are rubbish in comparison to what they normally do and nobody cares.

I’m fairly new here and have followed the queensdale train just because it’s where the players are and the loot is good if mine is getting outdated. When I’m bored of that I do some stories, hearts, and map completions, but they don’t seem to be worth it in terms of profit vs time played, just more entertaining.

Which server are you playing at?

Some people have dual legendaries. Like two incinerators, but with this new update you can have multiple skins of the same weapon. So, will all those people with dual legendaries get 1 free legendary to compensate? It’s like 1 of their legendaries just disappeared. People that have for example Eternity, get both Twilight and Sunrise, but dual wielders don’t get anything like that.

I know we have waypoints but, imagine trying to catch up to the Lyssa event after killing Claw Of Jormag. The closest waypoint is about 2 WP away as the nearest one is contested. I WP to the one near the ‘statue’ and after I got warped there, it says ‘WP is contested, warping you to nearby WP’. About 1 minute later while running to Lyssa (who is at that moment has it’s HP reduced down to 25%), the game warped me all the way to the camp WP which is even further away from the temple -_-.

I mean, yeah you can make the argument;
- Be there early!
- Don’t hog up all the events!
- Warp sooner!

But still…..
WP costs money (not that we care, just pointing it out), contested WP makes it harder to warp to nearby events that we wish to attend before it’s over and althought we might have 100% exploration on our main characters, we don’t have all WPs unlocked on our subs.

In addition, mounts make your guardian looks cool? XD
I’m not asking for flying mounts or even allowing attack from mounts (Let’s take it one step at a time). All I’m asking for is mount to increase our speed (You can cap it at 50% speed increase) and to make our character looks cool? XD.

Is this the 3rd or 5th or 7th thread you have started about Mounts On gw2? I swear I keep seeing you post the same thing over and over, as if it were the only time.

2 – Guardian (I love how the AOE healing effect heals not only you but everyone)
3 – Warrior (Vengence is only useful if you select the trait where you get to continue living after you kill some enemy)
4 – Ranger (Pet heal can save you from plenty of deaths)
5 – Thief (Smoke screen, controlled teleport to location)
6 – Necromancer (Used to start with 75% HP but for some reason after the patch, you downed with 50% HP instead -_-)
7 – Mesmer (Can’t control where you’ll end up in when you create the illusion and have your real body end up in a magma most of the time -_-. Out of the frying pan and into the fire)
8 – Engineer (Sure! The 1st thing I wanna do when I’m downed is to pull an enemy CLOSER to me -_-)

I WP to the one near the ‘statue’ and after I got warped there, it says ‘WP is contested, warping you to nearby WP’. About 1 minute later while running to Lyssa (who is at that moment has it’s HP reduced down to 25%), the game warped me all the way to the camp WP which is even further away from the temple -_-.

I mean, yeah you can make the argument;
- Be there early!
- Don’t hog up all the events!
- Warp sooner!

But still…..
WP costs money (not that we care, just pointing it out), contested WP makes it harder to warp to nearby events that we wish to attend before it’s over and althought we might have 100% exploration on our main characters, we don’t have all WPs unlocked on our subs.

In addition, mounts make your guardian looks cool? XD
I’m not asking for flying mounts or even allowing attack from mounts (Let’s take it one step at a time). All I’m asking for is mount to increase our speed (You can cap it at 50% speed increase) and to make our character looks cool? XD.
