There were a web site that shows pvp stadistics and one of them were blue/red team winratio and last time i saw it (like 1 year ago) blue team were winning by 1%

Well, i liked the old system when you could play the map few mins after it was over because when i was playing a match and i failed a puzzle jump i punished myself doing it right a few times after the game ends before get out from it

the inventory/bank spot is more usefull than having one of them. Maybe it isnt useless if you are starting to play this game but you get it from birthday presents so…

Can you get the armors with one char and the pets with other and still getting all the points as you got them with one character?

I am serious. I rarely ever see condi thief so i am not sure where you pull your numbers.

Join in a random guild and/or ask radom people if they think that condi thief is strong. People who know that condi thief is kitten are not so much if you compare to the rest of the community

I am in a few guilds (mostly filthy pve’ers, myself including :P) and they don’t think condi thief is the way to go beside being stupidly annoying.

Im done, i had bad connection just in gw2 during all “between seasons” time period and still have it when the season starts. There is no aswer from Arenanet and the only time i can play with my normal ping (70-90 ms) is if i use a program like WTFast or similar and i dont going to pay for a program just to get my ping in just one game. Ive been waiting so much.

The problem is that the game auto connect to the IP server with the lowest ping but somehow this server right now is so bad because it has an unnestable ping (Paris Server for me). I was playing without ping thanks to a program which makes you to connect from other IP so Anet connects you to another server.

Now im kittened because my free time period in that program is over, so lag came again

nvm i changed my server in pingzapper and now it works but its still sad that i have to use a “ping program” to play this game when i have played since 5 month without lag and last 2 weeks i started to have so many spikes…

I started to use Pingzapper to make my ping nice again, actually it works, now my ping always is the same and i have less than 100ms. The problem is that i can not connect to the TP windows and it shows me this error code: 10:1014:10:483:101

Now i can play without ping but i cant sell or buy anything in the TP

you could try a third party VPN, i used Windscribe. connect to one that has lowest latency for you.

at least it lasts only 1-2h for you, and your normal ping is great.

it’s also the IP, 64.25.38.238 had a lot of packet loss for me too, and DC problems, but few days ago i got another IP and seems back to normal for the moment.

the lag spike to 1500ms is enough to cause u to DC with Error 7:11:3:191:101 sometimes, if it cannot sync back after the spike.

Actually i havent been DCed because of that lag spike but i had arround 1,5k to 5k ping in game and thats a rly high ping and if it is a real ping instead of a weird problem im pretty sure i should be DCed before to get2k or even 1k ping. Sorry for my english

Your problem starts @ node 7 which is a tier 3 provider. This provider is contracted by your ISP to provide their routing. The only thing you can do is contact your ISP and provide this information to them.

Current season is about to end in a few days, and i so worry about that because i spend 90% of my game time playing ranked games. If next season starts months later i dont know what im going to do in guild wars because im not a big fan of PvE.

Id like to ask to Anet if they can start the new season one or two weeks after this one ends, thank you.

ah yeah that happened to me too was mid gold suddenly loosing about 18 of 20 games ending in mid silver
no idea why the games were arround 300 mostly
but next day total turn around about 12 wins in a row back in lower gold lol
many games pretty close but some really easy wins in between
losses were in prime time
wins were at saturday morning
but queue times were about the same

I was also in mid gold 2 times this season, then i had more than 20 losses so i went to silver twice. At the moment im trying to climband push to gold again and it was exactly as you said, all the loses, the 100% of my loses were at 300+ points or less, my team and I couldnt get more than 400 points in all the lossing streak, then i can get win streaks of 5 or 7 but then i lose almost all my points that i got by losing 3 in a row, so my push is about 10 points/day and thats so slowly if you compare how fast i lost them.

100% of my games were in soloQ, i dont know if it has something to do with those weird lossing streaks.

Hello, first of all i want to say that im new in gw2 (started in mid season5 and when it finished i left too) and i have no friends here so i can not play duoQ. But i have exp in high rating games as Starcraft2 and World of Warcraft so i know how to learn so thats not a problem.

As the title says, i have done all my matchs solo. When i did my first 10 games, after like 20 games in the season i started to lose so many games and i went from 55%-60% winratio to nothing because i lost almost 15 games in a row and if i lose 2 or 4 games in a row i just rest a bit so that was 4 days of losing games. When the losing strike ends, i was in mid Silver Tier1 and it took me more than 100 games to go back to gold.

Ok, it took me so much effort to get gold again and next day i starting to lose again, but now im losing 9 of 10 of my games and im again in where i began. Here, in my mmr i can beat in 1v1 90% of the players and when i go far (half of the games) i 2v1 for 2 min or more it doesnt matter, i still lose. And honestly, everytime i look my game history there is none with more than 400 points in my team.

Its because im SoloQing? Any help? Thanks for reading and sorry for my english.

Hello helseth, is there any special trick/strat when there is a condi or staff thief 1v1ing you when you have the standard thief D/P build (with smoke, agility and shadowstep)? Or i should just try to skip that fight?

I forgot about saying you another thing, you prob have “Ladder anxiety” but is rly common. You can google it.

Blizzard made a study about Starcraft2 because some people were rly afraid to look for a 1v1 match in the macthmaking. I personaly know some people who press the Search buttom and then they start to sweat and in the end they cancel the search. You just need to relax and feel confident with yourself, if you rly thing that you are plat why are you afraid to lose it? Even if you do it, why cant you get it again? Everyone have bad days and after 4 or 5 losses in a row its better to stop for some hours or even the entire day.

Honestly, if you lose rank when you play pvp is because you are not enough good to be in that rank, however maybe its because you stop to play everytime, i mean, if you play a couple of games and then you wait 3 days to play some more games you cant improve and you prob will be worst everytime you “return” to the game.

There is the classic answer that “i lose because of my team” then are you saying that people who can win its so luckly and can climb some rating or stay in the same all the time?

I was a high rated player in SC2 (Not in gw2 because i have less than 500 games) and i can tell you that if i didnt play everyday at least 3 games, next time i played i felt so slow and making so many stupid mistake and doing things out of timing, imagine how i felt if i just leave the game 3 days in a row.. i had to play like 2 or 3 games just to get back my “speed” again and still making stupid mistakes because my mechanics got rusty.

So, you should just play and if you rly are plat then you will get plat at the end of the season. I got gold2 when i did my 10 games and i droped to silver1 almost bronze in a few days, then i played more serious and i could get silver3 and almost gold yesterday after few days trying, prob in this week i could get gold2 again, but ill get gold for sure. So dont panic and play, thats all. Remember that this is a new system and you can NOT take as a reference any rank of last season, i mean bronze is not ambar and plat is not diamond, you just cant compare.

Question: How to deal power mesmers as a warrior? Ive been facing them so much times since 2 or 3 days and i dont rly have any specific strat. Should i try to kill him in teamfight? Its so hard to kill them and they often scape. Thanks

Note: Im not so good at this game thats means im playing with also bad players in my team, but this 2 weeks i could go from silver1 to silver3 so iguess im improving.

Hello, i would like to Anet make an upgrade for the Game History and allows us to see how many mmr we have wone/lost in any match.

To be honest i was in mid gold when i got my first 10 games in the first week of this new season and 90% of my games were playing thief and i went down to silver so i decided like one week ago to start doing some risky things like going far instead of close and 1v1 the guy who was there and i realised that i could win like 80% of the times even i am an inexperienced player (because started to play in last season and got the level to play rankeds at mid season) but i used to be in high mmr in others games like WoW or SC2.

So i learned 2 things last days.

1. People dont try to learn how to pvp, learn from mistakes or even find them when they duel someone in rankeds, when i have expended more time watching streams, looking for info in google/youtube and asking people to learn more about my class.

2.The game was easier when decided to create a warrior (a class that ive never played) to do those 1v1 in far more easier and could tank or even kill in 2v1, so i manage to go up from silver 1 to silver 3 and i am almost in gold again.

So, if you rly think that you are better than bronze, the best thing i can say you to do is play a good class in 1v1 like druid, war or maybe ing and try to tank as many people as you can in far. My main problem when i was playing as a thief it was because people didnt rotate so i couldnt so my job very well, decaping points and +1 my team. I felt like they just wanted to do a 5v5 in mid all game and thief is not good for that i think.
