Would be great if we had the opportunity to hide the backpacks that appear when using bomb kits or grenade kits etc.
Title says it all. I was at the end of World 2 Zone 1 and I got booted by the game. Log back in to find I have to start all over.
Greetings, just to reiterate we’re a PvX guild based on Ring Of Fire, and have been together in GW1 too. We formed straight away on GW2 and like to class ourselves a casual medium-sized guild. Although predominantly a PvE guild, some of our members like to dip into PvP. We are by no means a hardcore grind guild and are only looking for members that are willing to have fun.
Currently we have weekly Guild Missions and would love to have more members to share it with. We do Fractals and dungeons almost daily, and do WvW regularly. We have a Mumble server set up which we encourage members to use, and details will be given upon entry. We have around 90 members with 10-12 online with only 1 or 2 not representing.

And finally, I’ve probably missed out some important information here so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. See you in ingame.
I completely agree with you, this needs to be fixed right away. This left me very upset.
I seem to be ingame now.
I’ve been part of the guild for about 24 hours so far, I’ve really enjoyed my stay. Definitely a guild worth joining.
Hey, I’m looking for a laid back and casual medium/large sized guild, I’m an experienced player having played in all betas and since release. I’m pretty busy during weekdays but just want a fun community to be in. I’m in the Ring Of Fire server but with guesting, guilds on any EU server is fine.
Fair point.
Exactly, and like I said – those features were in GW1 too so I’m a little curious. Thanks for your comment.
As a co-guild leader, I find it very hard to make sure that all members of the guild receive announcements. These announcements are usually to do with informing them about events taking place a certain times. The current guild announcement system is not bold enough and people do not really check it regularly. In GW1, every time you logged in on a character, the guild announcement would pop up in the chatbox, this was so effective and I really don’t understand why it was removed.
So my suggestion is for ANet to implement a similar guild announcement system where characters can see the message once logging in. Using the new mail system, perhaps certain members of the guild should be able to send mail to all guild members notifying them of the event etc. Secondly, I find it really annoying that you cannot actually edit the guild announcement, everything just deletes and you have to write it from scratch. Again, this was something from GW1 which was removed upon the release of GW2. Thanks for reading the thread, let me know if you have any info regarding this, also post below if you agree/disagree.
Yup, that’s the exact same situation I am in too. Let me know if anything happens too, thanks.
Yup, I bought one of those Makeover Kits this morning and I received nothing in my mail even though I have space. Nice to know I’m not the only one with this problem, however I didn’t have any dcing going on. Good luck.
Thanks for responding, my mail was clear in the first place and I have cleared more mail anyway. I guess it is just a bug, I just wanted to know whether I was doing something wrong or not. Take care.
Hi, earlier this morning I purchased the new Hair Makeover Kit for 250 gems. A notice popped up saying that these items would be sent to me in my mail. I had a look and saw that nothing was there, I logged out and switched characters to see if it would make a difference, but unfortunately there is still nothing and I seem to have wasted my money. Am I missing something? Thanks.
Yes, I agree. Guild logos should definitely be more common, the guild armor doesn’t quite cut it for me. Capes and Guild Halls were 2 of the many defining points of guilds and communities in the first game, they bring a sense of unity to it. I don’t care whether we’re given capes or tabards, as long as there is something that shows we belong to a guild.
Long live the turtles. :P
