Anyway, SF is looking to get in to the GvG scene. We played against Agg and EP and got tore up, but was some pretty good learning experiences. We got a lot of old vets in to this type of torture.

This was our GvG Wednesday against Ark, very tough, close fights and very classy opponents. Still need +1 Mesmer, Guardian, Warrior and Ele for our GvG / WvW team. We run a tight ship and are very open to good mature players.

Count the blue lines, thats totally 20 people. It it a requirement to be completely delusional to the amount of players one actually has around them to be on SoR? Or can you guys not do simple mathematics?

That is not from last night. Note that SF is rushing from Hills Spawn, which is impossible from JQ BL which we were on last night. I remember this night clearly because Jedbacca and myself were wishing each other good fights after everything was said and done. That was a night we were low pop running at max 18 on a map. TW was running their own group, UL was running their own too.

The point isn’t about last night, it’s that you basically completely denied that you ever zerg in large groups which is obviously false. Run your guild groups or whatever and celebrate your victories, but stop pulling the outnumbered card. If you wanted to fight small man, then you wouldn’t have transferred to the largest server in NA.

Also I find it hard to believe that you were separate from TW for more than 30 seconds.

We run separate all the time, however when there’s certain locations like spawn towers, camps and keeps and we know there will be an entire map coming to defend it, we buddy up. We were not zerging as one massive blob, we were attacking in different formations to different points, ask Jed about it, see if he agrees with your ever so shaded position on things.

As far as pairing up with TW for certain objectives, how does this surprise you? Would you rather we ran against double or three times our numbers all the time to just feed you bags? The point is Wilco, you could take a lot of pointers from your better server mates like Jed who can appreciate positions from both sides of the table instead of just flinging bile all day.

Tonight has been quite possibly the most epic night ever in SoR history.

wow SoR does sound like a bad guy for me (because im from BG). I have to say that in the last push you guys seem to be able to use skills…GG

But isn’t this what SoR have been asking for? I remember a post from months ago asking JQ and BG not to hit each other and only hit SoR.

Also do you know JQ didnt hate SoR until when? IT was until SoR recruited ACO AND WARD. GUILDs THAT CALL JQ’S COMMUNITY TOXIC. so this is the result, you will get focused by JQ’s NA, as well as BG’s NA because we hate you. and ofc we will focus your SEA to minimize the EU timezone where IRON can pvd everything back.

I said that some elements of the JQ community were toxic and harassing some of my members and requested it to be stopped. I never have and never will say that all of JQ community is toxic nor will I ever say we hate JQ because we do not hate JQ. There are still many friends that I and my guild keep intouch with. We do not wish any ill towards JQ. The blatant attempt to start drama was too obvious.

I am going to clear something up. We did not hate WARD/Aco/TKG, nor did we start 2v1’ing them when they left. Alot of people wished them the best of luck on there journey to have a different experience in this game, and some did not you can’t make every happy. That is not to stay I did not want to beat them up in the field.

I still have respect for all of these guilds that have left for a new journey and always will. Lets keep the forums classy and have some good fights. /salute

Also, only after WARD and Aco left did JQ win a recent matchup. I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’.

Matchups are won based on coverage as has been explained tons of times.

WARD and Aco are not PPT guilds, they are open field fighting guilds, we’re looking for fights, not some arbitrary scoreboard number that means nothing come Friday reset. Focusing on PPT gets you burned out and leads to the game being more like a job than fun.

I never stated that, nor did anyone from WARD and Aco. I have many friends on JQ still that I still talk to and consider friends, just because we changed teams does not mean we hate everyone on the server we were on.

That being said our leaving did seem to reinvigorate certain JQ’s bloodlust in WvW, I fully approve of this.

It’s not a troll, once I get something tangible I might post it. Until then I guess complaining I get from JQ players about coordinating a 2v1 with BG is as much evidence as I’m going to get.

Also IRON + Waha stuff is their own business, afaik they arent even fighting each other full Strength ever? Makes that kind of drama go over my head to be fair.

As far as the community thing I really tried with JQ’s community, go to the forums there and read sometime.

Good fights this week with our friends on all servers, hope everyone is having a great time.

Whoever chain Moa’d me in JQ Overlook tonight in Lords Room, that stuff is hilarious. I think I’m more proficient at that 1-5 now than Pryan is in Golem 1-5.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support, constructive criticism and understanding regarding the WARD and Aco move. While we all have different points of view, I think we can all agree that this is a game and we are playing it to have fun with our guild and our communities.

What we did was the best choice in this situation for our guild. I still have mad respect for Mance, Jed, Wok, Kada, Ben Sheets and on and on. You guys are great people and I’ll have a great time getting riled up and seeing you guys on the opposing side of the field.

Also if you get a precursor from my corpse at any point I get half, thanks!

DeWolfe, you’re awesome and I apologize for my swift departure. We had a transfer process in place and gave the community leaders a heads up on Sunday a week ago after we had voted as a guild. We were planning on letting the community know Friday and then transferring on Sunday after we had helped out JQ on one last reset.

However once a couple people got angry in leadership positions about where we were headed it started a fallout on both /m and /t chats. The atmosphere turned very hostile and a lot of anger ensued. I gave the go ahead to my guys to transfer early to avoid any additional drama in the situation.

Anyways I hope this week is fantastic for JQ, and see you maybe next week on the Battlefield…

You can’t say your stacked until that particular group of spineless groupies pays you a visit.

Mance, I have nothing against you personally but you really need to stop.

Whispering my members with your insults on a daily basis is overboard. Going after PRX members (who is still a guild on JQ btw) is also very bad.

This is a game, we are doing what is best for our members, our roster and our situation. We tried to let everyone know so there wouldn’t be any issues or lingering drama, everyone else in a JQ leadership position has had no problems with being supportive of our move as well as anyone that still wanted to stay on the server. Please try to respect that and the people that are still your server mates that you are alienating.

Honestly I want JQ and yourself to be successful. Hopefully we will be able to have some fun fights soon on a Borderland.

I don’t care about 1v2, I don’t care about losing points. I care about good fights and good quality WvW for all servers. Also we had scouts on all the borderlands and people tagging the forces during EU prime, that’s how we are able to track them.

I agree that SEA prime wasn’t fair before, balance on all time slots is good for all of the servers involved and should be strived for. We want to keep people interested in WvW for the long term.

I am not trying to trash talk or anything, but this is to our friends over in the EU time zone.

JQ doesn’t really have a strong EU presence, most of our playerbase on weekends during the time slot is from people just doing their own thing during the summer.

This last Sunday I saw a force of 40+ IRON and a good share of followers. On the other map I saw 25 HB and a fair share of followers too. These forces would map hop to fight a Militia based JQ force but never once did we see them go on maps to fight each other. They were actively avoiding fighting a coordinated guild.

Until JQ gets a coordinated EU guild of IRON or HB quality we will continue to be lacking in the department of being able to offer a fair fight to you guys, 40 players from 10 different guilds < 40 players from a guild used to playing together. So please, if you want a fair fight try going after the other guilds in your time slot.

Midnight Wardens [WARD]

Is going to be temporarily recruiting to fill our class needs for World vs World. We are a small group of players who have been playing together for years of gaming. We specialize in trying to flank and zerg bust, trying our best to dominate and make a difference in the open field for our server.

As for what makes this roster a little different here is how it works…

The Basics:

This is a WvW specific guild roster that rolls nightly at 5:00pm(ish) server. (Except one day a week due to missions, we WvW after)

We do not believe in blobbing, though we do understand that it has to be done now to take certain objectives, we always try to work with the map.

We practice in the field a lot, trying to work together. Commitment and love for WvW is a given for all of our membership.

After an Initiation and training period, you are invited into the roster

All scheduled times are based off server time unless otherwise specified.

Only Commanders who have been vetted by the guild are allowed to schedule WvW times and lead the forces. We do have trainings and advice to help build up Commanders-in-training so that when they are ready they have a winning skill set.

The goal is to use our knowledge from our constant Tier 1 matchups, strategies we’ve learned from the enemy and from our own experience to adapt on the fly, make adjustments when necessary, and succeeding as often as possible.

World vs World:

This is the focus of our guild. We want to PvP against players, not PvDoor against empty buildings. We will bring the fight to the enemy and play the map when necessary to get the best fights for our playerbase possible. We know we always can improve, and always look for new ways to do so. PvE:

We have all Missions and unlocked and do them one night a week at 5:00pm server with a seperate roster. This is about as extensively as we PvE.

The Requirements:

All applicants go through a trial period where they are partied with specialists in our guild who know classes very well.

We run very specific gear and builds in order to maximize our potential in the field, these are shared to you once we see your chops and we think you’re a good fit with us.

TeamSpeak is a requirement.

Knowing your class is a given, alts are appreciated.

Signing up on our guild calender for scheduled events so we know if you can make it or not.

Having a positive attitude and ability to handle constructive criticism. (I get called out for example when I mess up, so I try to provide others the same luxury)

Getting a Cybroz dueling vote of approval…

At least JQ had some humility when they were winning .

I don’t know how to explain to everyone around me why I suddenly burst out laughing.

Every server that has been #1 has thought they have been humble about it, and every single one of them was wrong.

JQ is still leagues ahead of the closest T2 competition, but your star has passed and it’s time to accept this fact with the dignity you never had when you were on top.

I’m sure it’s rough for JQ, as they were #3 or maybe #2 so many times and now see history repeating itself, as the same people who stacked HoD and SoS have now stacked BG and SoR to a point you cannot compete.

Yet, ask yourselves why you haven’t gotten transfers since SF and PRX at the end of free transfers? SF could respect you, having been in the same boat for so long, and PRX was insulted that SoS kept winning without them.

Since then? Your server is stacked, with full population and all hours coverage. You can break out your theories about WvW population vs. total population; but that’s not it.

The truth is that you ticked off so many people, that they stacked on two other servers just to take you down.

If anything, you should sit back and applaud how much effort it took to do this; but it’s about time you accept it.

I cannot think of a single PRX that was insulted that SoS stayed on top, they were glad. Ask any of the SoS guilds that kept in contact, plenty of people from PRX stayed on SoS after the move because of loyalty to the server.

If prx(no not the ripped off prx – ward) decided to come back, JQ’s problem would be solved, since they have like 10 thousand people playing wvw everynight.

PRX went unofficial almost two months ago. Most of the members were bored of the game for obvious reasons. Now they’re enjoying other Beta tests, trying out new releases, etc. When PRX moved to JQ from SFR the roster was 250 people, with about 50-70 on reset nights and 25-30 on weekdays.

WARD is not a rip-off of PRX, and you are a fool for saying so. WARD is a collection of people from many different guilds based on JQ who wanted to try to make an impact with smaller numbers and not just blob around like what has become commonplace in this game.

As far as JQ and it’s population. More WvW centered (organized) players would be appreciated in the EU / NA timezones. Priority being NA, as we would like to be able to have fun matches against the huge numbers that SoR can throw on the field at that time. It would be nice though if Anet added some incentive to not blobbing.

This is awful for us West Coasters, don’t do this.

Great fights last week and this week SoR / BG (definitely hats off to my friends at ATac).

Hopefully many more good fights coming this week, and here’s to hoping the April patch when it comes does something to zerg bust a little, the 100v100v100 has gotten really old.

Yeah, it really doesn’t work unfortunately. It didn’t work really well in any of the games that have implemented it.

What we are:

Catalyst Alliance is formed with a number of the people from the guild Catalyst and world famous Pals for Life which has gaming experience from DAoC, Lineage 2 and other World PvP games. (I won’t be silly and say that World of Warcraft has viable World PvP)

However our activity as our player base has gotten older has dwindled. We are looking to use fresh, active players who can help us bring numbers to the table in the thing most unique to Guild Wars 2: World vs World.

This is definitely an exploit.

Currently my server is in last place for this weeks matchup, we just spend a few hours taking keeps and towers back from Eredons Terrace on our home battleground.

We had eyes on multiple gates and were being hit from the western Garrison wall that is close to longview.

Some mesmer was able to glitch his way from the southern west side of Garrison, then port in his friends, then he did the same thing again by glitching up to inside the Inner door of Garrisons and porting in to Keep Lord.

Outer doors were all at 100%. Inner door was at 80% that they were attacking while waiting on Mesmer’s skill to cooldown.

It really doesn’t matter that they are dominating, they have this week in the bag already. But to be obviously exploiting in the process is quite another.

Attached is a picture one of my guildies took right afterwards, as they were doing the same glitch at Etheron Hills.

Please fix this, WvW is hard enough to come from behind in against a dominant server, having broken exploits is worse than Replacement refs.
