Turned in a bug report yesterday on an alt leveling there and trying to get zone complete (which I flagged as obstructed progress in the bug report.)

If it’s an event jump puzzle which is temporary content, it has no business blocking zone complete.

If it’s a permanent addition, it has no business being a requirement until the content is actually available.

Don’t mind waiting… posting in the hopes that something like this does not slip past again.

^^ This, I just wasted a half hour trying to get to it, only to find this thread. VERY angry right now, who had the bright idea of making something on the map you can’t get to and can’t complete all the POI requirments?

Try a complete uninstall and reinstall, still looks like its being corrupted. Also from a command line, type chkdsk /f (you will need to run this as an administrator) that will check your hard drive for errors.

It’s now been 21 days, still crashing with the unable to write to memory error. Others in my guild have been dealing with this issue too.

Official response on the Lag issues please?

WHAT?! Have you ever played Diablo III? It’s everything Guild Wars isn’t gameplay wise, they didn’t even get it to work right with eyefinity, had tons of lag issues, servers constantly going down. Makes the issues we are dealing with right now not quite so bad. The worst thing I have ever seen Blizzard do was edit the stats of items you own (they made them worse), that is one of the biggest no no’s I have ever seen a company do in a MMORPG / RPG game. Also you don’t need to dump your real money into the auction house to beat the game, Diablo was designed to suck your money into progression. Now if you are trying to compare “Blizzard” in general to the quality of Starcraft II, I will give you that, amazing game and excellent programming. But I would say the developers for Diablo would be put on Guild Wars if that were to happen.

Did that. Now I switched from a Radeon 7950 to a Nvidia GTX 780, was working fine for a week NOW CRASHING AGAIN WITH THE MEMORY ERROR

Also something to add, I tried the beta POV switch in the launch and I had no crashes for playing over an hour! Something is def going on with the update.

What resolution will you be running this on? It’s going to be the most important factor in the answer to your question.

Surprised no one has asked what resolution you are going to be running on. If its 1920×1080 or below there are a good range of $250-$300 cards that will do everything on max just fine (AMD Radeon 7950 and Nvidia Geforce 660 TI).

Good morning,

I understand it has been brought to your attention that the last 2 patches since 4 days ago have been causing issues. I have been looking through the forums and from the looks of it, the “Bone Constraint” crash was resolved in the last patch but there is still the “Unable to write to memory” crash going on. This is affecting Nvidia and AMD video cards. I’m sure there have been plenty of crash reports and trouble tickets for this but I wanted to get a “master list” of the folks having this issue so you can forward it to the developers. Below are the users having these issues along with the threads they posted in. If it helps, for myself, I have found that running it in window mode has been a temp fix as it takes substantially longer for it to crash, still crashing though. Please let me/us know if there is anything else we can do to assist and if possible, let us know if this is being looked into.

Ditto, been on since beta and have only a few crashes, maybe once every couple months. After this patch I am lucky to get 5 min. Keeps saying unable to write to memory, I have tested my RAM and its fine. Tested the video card in benchmarks such as 3dmark, also other games like Sleeping Dogs with high rez texture pack and Crysis 3, no issues there. This is a problem with the update and this needs to be addressed.
