Thank you Doam, I really appreciate your reply. You’ve summed up a lot, and I agree with everything you’ve said.

You guys have had more luck then me then. I waited for up to an hour while farming before I finally left group and gave up. I’m not a new player so I’m not going to join a new player guild. 5 gold is not a lot and very easy to make from just doing the new maps, its really nothing in comparison to how much an be made. Not sure why that was mentioned, it’s not like people are going to do dungeons for 5 measly gold. I also don’t mind new people in the group or even if the group is short. In full ascended/leg/elite spec/right builds, I’m sure the damage output is much greater nowadays.

While I appreciate the help, what you both have mentioned doesn’t help any. It doesn’t change the fact that anytime I try and que up for any dungeons at all outside of when it’s the daily, I either get tired of waiting, or hours go by and I can’t be online anymore.

Suggestion : Add a vendor in fractals to exchange fractal relics for specific dungeon tokens.

Running into an issue where I need dungeon tokens for gifts or skins. NO ONE runs dungeons anymore except on the day that it’s a daily (if you’re lucky). Then it’s most likely not the dungeon you need tokens for at the time. Dungeons aren’t really in the daily rotation to begin with.

If focus is on raids, fractals, and living story, then please give us another option to get these tokens beside doing dungeons. I don’t mind trading in fractal relics for a specific dungeon token I need. I think its time for a new vendor in the lobby !!

anything would work really and at what ever time they ended up getting to it. i just want to see them have another use to them besides the destroy option. it gives you that feeling that you just wasted gold.

Thank you Red. I’m just happy others are looking at it the same way. Make them more usable somehow so we’re not just wasting the gold buying them.

I finally purchased the order of whispers armor and weapons to complete the collection for the back piece from HOT. I hadn’t purchased these before because I wasn’t very fond of them. I think its a bit outdated that you can’t mystic forge these pieces, salvage, or at least sell back to a vendor for half the price. I understand the cost of these items as its an exclusive set. On the other hand they are only rare items and are very old sets at that. It’s so easy to get exotics as soon as you hit level 80 so what use are these items except for skins. You can’t use them to transmutate like before, since we use charges now. Even if you do buy them to collect the skins you still have to spend a transmutation charge. Anet can we get an update on these older sets?

Suggestions –
Make them exotic so upcoming 80’s or alts can use them as a main set of gear.
Make them salvageable.
Make them viable to put in mystic forge.
Make them skins so we’re not stuck using charges if we decide to use them.
Please make these more useful in some way beside a skin. I’m sure there would be many others that would appreciate this including a lot of the new players =)

I wouldn’t mind having to use bag space for extra sets that’s not a problem but yes being able to switch between sets easier or quicker is what I was looking for.

As far as the builds go I do realize the new item is there to change your build out in the world but again it is just the same idea of it being more convenient instead of taking the time to put points in, it would be nice to just be able to switch over without added time of redoing a build. Most mmo’s have this option already and its one I’ve always appreciated. I understand that the company has to have some sort of income to cover maintenance so maybe have it use that consumable each time you switch the build so that they still have to be bought. Another option would be buying a consumable or using gems to unlock a 2nd and/or 3rd build just like we had to use for bank and bag slots.

I’m not sure if anyone has ever suggested this before, but here it goes. I would really love to be able to have more then one build at a time that I can easily switch to if need be (out of combat of course). Along with the ability to change builds while I’m out in the world, having an option for another armor set would be awesome.

Example : I’m an Elementalist and I’m out in the world doing dynamic events. Current build is more centered around damage along with the armor set I’m using. I want to change it up and move to some dungeons as a support build with an armor set more geared toward healing. Doing this without having to stop in town to re do my build or pick up my healing gear would be amazing.

We have a town clothes set that we can switch to. Why not make it so we can add our own custom sets on that hero panel for gear, enabling us to switch gear sets with a click of a button and without taking up more room in bags or banks. Add the option to the build section to add another build with the ability to switch back and forth when needed. I’m sure many pvpers would love this option as well being able to switch armor and builds before entering wvw or pvp would make things a lot easier.
