I’m always in favour of more Lore. +1 to that book, although I’d think a few different ways of getting pages would be less monotonous.
The dungeons are hard, were hard and will hopefully continue to be hard. They’re a challenge and it is worth the struggle in the end, both in terms of loot/gear and personal satisfaction.
I would like to see expansion of the undersea resources as well. Just not worth the effort at the moment.
Fishing; yes, 100%. Anything that adds to immersion is something I can get behind.
So yeah. I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on here. Yes you can invite an enemy to your party, or join theirs. The little pop up in the party area lists them as “Blah Blah Blah Invader”. But if you waypoint while that pop up is still there, the “Blah Blah Blah Invader” changes to the actual name, at which point you can whisper away to your heart’s content. Despite this, I believe strongly that they should leave the option to invite to party ingame. Certainly fix this bug, but leave the actual system in place.
It’s really a matter of choice. If I want to chat with the enemy and they accept my party invite, they’ve accepted my offer to talk. If they reject it, then they clearly don’t want to talk and both of us move on. This bug takes that choice away by allowing whispers to get through without the recipient’s permission, but if the party invite ability is taken away then Arena-Net is taking away all of our choices in a much worse way; by cutting off all communication. In my opinion, not cool and not a good route to direct this game.
My favourite is another Asura one, Goemm’s Lab in Metrica Province. It has a nice mechanic, it’s challenging but achievable and it’s just an exciting puzzle to do, situated as it is way up in the sky. You reach it by heading south from Cuatl Waypoint and looking out for the opening in the rocks to your left.
My close second is probably Griffenrook Run in Lornar’s Pass, simply because it’s so difficult. You find that one by by going through a very small gap underwater north-west of the “F” in False Lake.
1) Make siege blueprints account bound and depositable.
2) Do something about zerging. It’s not particularly fun, it’s very difficult to defend against and the participants rarely have any interest in sticking around to defend or upgrade.
3) Make map chat actually useful. It’s redundant as is, with Team serving the same purpose. I see two options here. A) Make it a channel across all four maps or B) Make it on one map, but allowing all servers to use it. There are advantages and disadvantages to both, but I favour B personally.
