So, I did update my firmware and also did the Samsum Magician Advanced Optimization and what not, but it didn’t seem to help at all.

Edit: I also seem to experience a lot of issues with borderless windows in any game or app. Whenever I actively use the borderless window’ed game (gw2 for example), every other program I got open (lets say my obs or twitch streams) runs with seeminly 5fps or less.

I read something about Samsungs EVO SSDs being a cause of low fps lately so I’ll check that out once I’m home from work and will report back to you!

ever since I upgraded to win10 I’ve had massive fps and lag problems ingame. I used to have 90-140fps in dungeons and now its somewhere between 15 and 58.

Is it really just the driver issues still or maybe some other problem? Also if someone wants to gather some data or what not, hit me up with what you need.

My pc specs: ASRock B85M Pro4 motherboard, 6gb ram, i5 4570, gtx 760 msi twin frozr, and got GW2 installed on a 120GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD.

Edit: Maybe we can get a sticky threat for Win10 related issues?
Edit 2: Compatibility mode seemed to fix it a fair bit, but still nowhere close to my old benchmarks

You need a mes/ele/necro. ele/mes go mountain goating, port necro up with kittenloads of crystals for rng. then you swap into deathshroud as you pick up the crystal to cap your crit chance. Also warriors banner and 25 vuln highly suggested.

Turret reflects don’t quite kill him because of no crit chance, idk, maybe if we shove enough rangers into the party we can get enough projectiles created.

So summary of class one shot abilities.

Confirmed:
Mesmer – focus on wall
Gaurdian – wor on wall
Ranger – axe 5 standing on wall
Warrior – shield 5 + trait standing on wall
Engineer – throw elixer on wall 50% of the time. Reflect off turrets on the wall?

First of all, I am certain that Warrior and Shield Mastery doesnt work anymore with the latest trait changes. It’s not the same as missile reflection, and when we tried it most of the projectile got blocked and not reflected (Maybe its the feedback mechanic? Where it only reflects 25 and then absorbs them (?)).

Engineer’s Flamethrower and Shield could potentially oneshot lupi. I have tried it a few times, we got Lupi down to 10-25%. However with some tweaking on the positioning, traits and gear we may be able to record a proper oneshot.

It’s meant to be provocative and also a tiny bit satirical about the people complaining about the current state of rangers.

That’s just using Reflect

I really don’t see the point of showing this. People have been using Reflect against Lupi for years.

The only thing you’re showing is that Whirling Defense can Reflect, but then why bring it like it’s something new and unusual that noone has ever done before?

I haven’t seen anyone do it from the wall.
And after all, it is a form of entertainment! Some people did enjoy watching it + it took a fair amount of time to work everything out and actually getting it to work, so I have a fair reason to show it off if I want to.

I’ve never seen it done from the wall, usually just stand in front and do it.

One thing to note is that you can only do this at the beginning of phase 2. Frostbow team will kill lupi in the 1st phase, which is why there are no “LF lupi Ranger” posts on the lfg tool.

You’re gonna get nowhere near oneshotting him from the ground, you need to get on the wall which takes some goating to pull off.
Also, the “frostbow team that kills lupi in first phase” you are talking about has nothing to do with lfg tool.
This can only be done with 3 elementalists and a mesmer, that are all coordinated to use their skills at exactly the right time, not by random pugs

I’ve killed lupi from the ground at least 50 times with WD. That was when you could trait it though.

And two eles is enough. Who plays with random pugs? Get a guild.

And yes, I do post many many builds to the forums. If you don’t think Cleric is viable, you know nothing. Simple as that.

You have done it, but honey, that was befor they removed offhand training. Using your signet to increase your hitbox isnt close to enough anymore, you can barely reflect 2 or 3 Bolts from the ground with a 90 reflect radius.

They post ’emselves in the forum/youtube/twitch and wait for people to fill an app form or whisper ’em ingame. you should look at other posts and see what they offer.

Well, that’s your and your amateur-elitist guilds view on it. I never asked for a 100% hardcore-elitist-whatever guild either. I want quick runs and a good atmosphere – & you don’t need to write gibberish in every single threat.
PS: You can have good people and smooth runs in a non-trialrun mandatory guild.

This sounds pretty good. Just is it an EU or NA guild? Also, is there some annoying trailrun or anything? There’s none and it’s eu – count me in!

Either they are ruthless, unforgiving elitist and play the game in the most efficient way or people are social, funny but play the game too casually.

I play spend most of my time on my Warrior and Ele but do also have any other profession on 80 and decently geared.

Aside from pve running dungeons, fractals and what not, I also enjoy pvp a fair bit and also roam around in WvW.

However, I’m not interesting in guilds that have mandatory events or sign ups or anything. I think it’s a little tedious. I’m just looking for a bunch of people who hang out and speed clear through whatever they’re doing with jokes and laughter.
