We’ve enabled and disabled the AirShip pass a few times today. Unfortunately, the airship pass continues causing serious server problems and so I disabled it once again about 30 minutes ago.
Not having the Airship pass working can be frustrating for players — I know this from a personal level. So, I’ve flagged this as a very hot bug to be fixed. Several people are looking into it currently and as soon as there is a proven fix (even if discovered over the weekend) I will see that the Airship passes are re-enabled.
I apologize for the temporary grounding of the airship.
Okay, I’m not the only one with this problem then. I just hope this bug will be fixed as soon as possible. I retried to get some waypoints in VB and it gives exp which means it did really reset. I’m not gonna retry to complete the map, it might cause problem.
I recommend that people with affected characters play other characters that are not fog-afflicted until we resolve these symptoms. If you wish to continue playing refogged characters it is very unlikely to cause any problems. We will fix your account during time that you are logged-out or after a hotfix.
Testing and deploying our change may take a day or more, but your refogged state is repairable.
An ETA is still unknown.

This should now be resolved and you can recapture the names that you reserved during the last beta weekend.
Beta weekend newb question: Once you have HoT pre-purchased, what do you do to access beta? Is there a special beta client download I’m missing or something?
There’s no special client. You simply click the ‘Create Beta Character’ button from the character select screen. Beta character slots can be recognized because they have the word BETA across the picture of your character. Once you’ve created a beta character then you can use it like you would a normal character until the beta weekend ends.
Hey guys, if I log my character out will the beta char still be there? (kind of a dumb question sry)
Your beta characters will stay around and can be played until this Beta Weekend ends. After this weekend you will be able to see the beta character from your character select screen for a few days, but you will be unable to interact with the beta character. Then, sometime prior to October 23rd the beta characters and beta character slots will disappear.
We have reviewed the “remember my location” check box and see that there is a problem. Thank you so much for reporting it. We will endeavor to get this fixed sometime soon.
