I am posting on behalf of my brother, his ticket # is 951606.. His account email was changed by cs a few weeks ago and he got his account back. Then a few days ago cs changed his email again on him, and he still hasn’t heard back. His email wasn’t compromised, because it says who has logged in and what ip they are from. He put a new password on his account, that the hacker couldn’t have known. Thanks.

I am posting on be half of my brother. His ticket # is 907016. His account was hacked 2 weeks ago, he got it back and set up phone authorization. Then 4 days ago his log in email was changed and phone authentication turned off some how. Thanks for checking in advance.

This recently happened to my brother and I. We kept everything we had in our guild bank, and he got hacked and we lost about 11k gold worth of stuff. I too don’t understand what the difference is between a guild bank and a personal bank. We are the only 2 people in the guild. If he had the items in his personal bank, and his account got restored. The same amount of gold would be in the economy. The hacker just got cs to change his email address after anet restored his account. So we have a ticket for that again are waiting to hear back. He even set up phone authentication, so a guild password Wouk be easy to bypass (IMO).

My brother was recently hacked on sept 2nd, we got his account back and they rolled everything back. But now the person who hacked him changed his log in email, I was under the impression that you could only change emails through support. The first time he was hacked his email was compromised. But this time, no one has been on his email since before he was hacked the first time. On top of that he added phone authentication , so I don’t understand how a 3rd party would be able to log on without physically having his phone. Has this happened to anyone else?? We are thinking the hacker sent in a ticket claiming that the account was there’s and anet change the log in email.

What did you get as a reward?

I ended up getting credit for 13/13. I just kept doing maps, I didn’t get credit for doing a frost gorge the whole 45 min, then right when it ended I hoped in my friends over flow that had 2 minutes left and then I got credit when it ended. I think I only hit like 2 mobs. I also used my 3rd character to do them, I don’t know if that makes a difference. Good luck to everyone else.

I just caught FS just now also, It counted for everyone in my party except for me. I’m stuck at 10/13 and I’ve done all the maps atleast 3 times, I kept a list. I’ve done them on different characters also.

I’m started to get frustrated , because I don’t know which maps counted and didn’t count. The only map I know for certain I need is FS. The other are up in the air, I didn’t know their was a bug, so I didn’t check to see what maps I got credit for. Even when I go to a map I’ve done and don’t get credit, I can’t just assumed I already got credit for it. I wish their was a list or something, so I can do something else other than go to every single event hoping its the one I don’t have credit for. Thanks!

Or you can stay down on the beach and farm skelks. 10-15g/ hour if you sell your mats

I find 10-15g / hour a bit hard to believe (granted I don’t sell t6).

Average loot from 1 hour skelk farming is ~20 powerful blood (5g) ~20 vicious fang (3g)
50 potent blood (50s) , 50 large fangs (50s)
~ 50 s from grey/white/blue/green + 5 golds + 2 crates.

No, just farm the beach where he starts his grind in the video, the coast there below the WP. They spawn quickly to just do big loops on the beach and kill the nest when your waiting for the respawns.

This. Don’t bother following the whole route, there’s enough people farming on the coast below the asura gate.

We do the big loop including water, because the DR doesn’t kick in as fast for rares. We find that more rares/crates drop while doing the whole route. If its just t6 mats your after, you can just stay on the beach, it takes a long time for DR to kick in because mf is so high. We farmed just the beach area for 3 hrs and we were still getting decent t6 drops.

I was getting ready to ascend it too, I don’t use those stats, but i assumes it would yield a new skin. It’s probably cheaper transmutating it onto a fractal back.

So ascending the backpiece doesn’t yield a new skin??

You didn’t even show your gear in the video, how do we know you didn’t have agony resistance. I bet the other 4 people in your party had agony resistance.

TheRabbit is right, those were the 3 easiest ones.

I know how you feel, I’m 0 for 6 or 7 on rings. At this point I would be happy with any ring. I almost have enough relics to make the back piece though, so I guess I’ll be able to move on after I get that.

I was playing with my friend yesterday and accidentally progressed my glitched story one mission ahead. I didn’t realize he was on the same mission as me. I hope this doesn’t effect if my story can be fixed or not.

can we get an update about this problem? I am level 80 and i am still waiting to do my level 30 story. I went to play my other character I had from the the 3 day headstart and his story was messed up too.

I am just about level 80 now and hoping to move on with my story soon. I figured we would of had an update by now. Hopefully there will be fix with the next update.

I was hoping for an update also. My characters level is getting pretty high and I really want to start my story again soon.

I have been waiting to move on with my story until this is fixed. I thought we would have more info about this by now though. It’s almost been a week and all we know is that they are looking into it.

Related to the above issue, if you were playing in a group to get past some of the stories blocked by bad character data, the only fix was to restore your character and advance you to Chapter 6.

Note: For the above issues, we’ve fixed the bug that causes them so they shouldn’t happen any more, but some characters might be bugged and have to reset by going to Lion’s Arch. Players who completed the battle for Fort Trinity pre-fix may experience some weirdness with it losing track of the story track they were on.
While this bug is fixed, we can’t retroactively set you on the correct quest steps, rewrite your journal, etc.

Ya, that’s true, its a total of seven missions that got skipped I believe. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder us from fishing the game. I just don’t want to have to start over, that’s what I’m more concerned about.

It’s not the end of the world if it can’t be fixed for our characters. I just want to know if this is going to effect anything else in the game. Such as achievements and stuff.

My brother and I have been doing all of our missions together. Today after completing a lavel 30 mission Kellach's Attack. with him it skipped me right to a level 48 Mission Forewarned is Forearmed.. His storyline is still fine but i really want the xp and items from the missions I skipped over. Has anyone else had this problem? My Characters name is Tbröther
