Guild Wars 2

Give us an endgame that doesn’t consist of:

1) Legendary grind
2) Temple clearing

It’d be nice to have some sort of raid-like instances where there are more than 5 people and you actually need teamwork, like maybe the raid group has to split into 2 teams or something.

The bosses now in (most) dungeons are just DPS fests. Same thing with world bosses like the dragons. ANet wanted those to be the solution for raids, but they ended up just being facerolls with all the people who participate.

I feel like one of the sole things that the game needs is better endgame, and what better place to put it than Orr?

I was talking about this in my guild the other day and we pretty much agreed that Arah could’ve been quite the epic raid (yes, i said raid).

There needs to be a reason for people to go to Orr other than some mats and the Temple armor. You can only cleanse temples for so long before it becomes stale.

This is just an opinion, not saying this needs to be implemented ASAP or anything to “save the game”, just giving my two cents.

So i just though I’d throw my Mesmer build (mainly PvE/dungeons/Fractals) out there for anyone who’s interested.

20/0/20/0/30

Top trait skills: 4,5
Middle: 5,10
Bottom: 5,10,11

I use a Staff and a Sword/Focus, all the weps have Power/Vit/CondiDam

Armor: Almost totally Carrion, some other things that can be switched out on preference. Superior Runes of Adventurer.

Utilities: Ether Feat, Mirror Images, Decoy, the one signet that gives random boons, and of course the lovely Time Warp

It’s basically designed as an all-around survival build. I hardly, if ever, go down when soloing, and even in dungeons i tend to be one of the few survivors on tougher fights.

I pretty much just use the staff unless I’m in need of major DPS, then i use Sword2.
