I have been playing Mesmer for a while, but i haven’t played much PvP due to the fact that i love playing nuker/zerker and i get killed in a second I don’t know how other players do it, i use the torch OH, Decoy, Blink, Mantra of Distraction, but i still die to nearly anybody. Also, i’m supposed to be able to nuke other zerker players, but they all just dodge or use a def skill, and when i blow my cover, i die to them.

Well, it would be nice, but i play on EU :S I guess they are different megaservers, dunno if i can even guest there.

I have a bit of a doubt about Burn Guardian in PvP, if you only apply one type of condition, isn’t it easy to counter? How can i counter their condi clear?

I know, but that phantasm still slows the enemy allowing the +30% crit, and allowing me to go zerker, + the alacrity it gives is nice Still, thats why i was wondering if any1 did the math behind it.

Ofc, its for higher level PVE and i thought that mesmer will use sword/shield and sword offhand, instead of the s/f. Also, the shield phantasm slows the target, so thats why i thought its is reliable. But i see the point of Improved Alacrity too.

I wanted to ask someone who did some math in one the beta weekends for chrono mesmer. I have started to gear myself and i researched that now the assassin stats yield better dps, but the chrono tree will offer +30% crit chance on slowed targets. Should i start to get Berserker gear or Assassin still going to be better?

Thanks for the insight! I will try one of the interrupt builds, try to get a feel for them One more thing, you said that interupting guarantees a gs rotation, which deals high burst, but what is this Mirror Blade nerf i read here? if that goes through how is that going to affect gs builds?

I just started the game a few weeks back, and i want to main mesmer PvP
Trying to play the GS, S/T PU build, but i still have a lot to learn, especially the shatters.
I was also looking at the Interrupt build, with the pistol offhand. How hard is it to learn that build? Also, is it more powerful than the PU one? I also read that they nerfed some stuff for mesmer, what were those? I just hope crit builds, or the mesmer from PvP won’t disappear.

I just wanted to have some information about how to play condi pu mesmer. Should i play torch with the cond clear talent, or the pistol one is better? Also, if i play pistol, should i use a cond clear 3. ability? currently using arcane thievery.

Devs, could you take a look at this problem? Today i had a few MB of patch, and since that i had 2 BSOD with Code 124 and a crash. Yesterday it worked fine :S

I’m coming back to the game after a really long break Could you guys link me what builds are viable in PVE and whats in PVP? If poison/condi builds are good, can somebody throw one at me? :P (I don’t wana look like an idiot in my first dungeon, thats why i’m asking)

Yea, i know about the free players get both the core+HoT, i have the Core, but i don’t think i can afford the HoT exp right now, thats why i asked :S

I just returned to the game, only to see there is an expansion coming. I bought the game about 2 years ago, so i’m not a f2p player, but if i reach max level, can i do anything without the expansion pack, or everybody will play the new stuff that i won’t be able to?

Okay, so to be clear, they haven’t got in. I just received passoword recovery e-mails, i can still go in. I don’t think it was a keylogger last time, and i don’t think it is now. I check my computer for such with 2 different software very often. And btw, if they have keylogger shouldt they just log in to my GW2 knowing my password? why would they bother with password recovery.

Yep, i’m with one of the 3 main ( don’t wana give away it ) but i gave them a quite absurd, and btw, they can’t know for sure they guessed the right one, or the variation of it, becuase i just tested, i can type any random e-mail to the password recovery, it always says “succes, we sent the stuff to the e-mail”

Is there a way btw, to “brute force” the password recovery? i mean they can just try million of different combination

Guys, i had my account hacked like a week ago, i wrote to Arena.net, and they changed my login e-mail to a new one. I just made a new one, never used it anywhere else. I was safe for like 3 days, but i start to get password reset e-mails to my new mail, again, but this time they can’t get it, and reset my pass. How they got to know my new address? I’m quite sure it isn’t a malware/virus keylogger, cause with that they could just log in, knowing my pass.

ah thanks, then i think i will get the power/vit/con one that gives survival too

Any1 can tell me where to get the Precision/Condition dmg/Toughness gear for lvl80 necro? want to make a build around the Barbed Precision and the sigil of earth. I think crit is much better than power for a DoT necro.
