So I just did the story quest for this achievement but I didn’t get the achievment when I was done. Anyone else encountered this aswell, or was this just a single time it went wrong?

To all the Desolation haters from Seafarer’s Rest,

Can you just stop saying ‘you guys are blobbing’, ‘you guys keep running’ or ‘you guys have no skill’? I’ve been playing with top guilds on Seafarer’s Rest for 5 months and transferred back to Desolation 1,5-2 months ago and to be quite honest, the guild I’m currently playing with [GoD] is perhaps the best guild I’ve ever been in. Of course, we on Desolation blob sometimes but so do you guys. Often I read what’s being said in these WvWvW threads and find people saying ‘it was like 60vs20’ and to be honest, when I run with either pugs or guild groups we often encounter so called ‘blobs’ from Seafarer’s. The thing I’m trying to point out is that everyone blobs, for example earlier today we were having a guild event and we were on the same borderland as Rise and Iddq, two skilled guilds. We had about 40 members in our group, while they had probably around 20-30 each; what did they do to counter us? They combined forces into one big ‘blob’. There’s nothing wrong with that (it’s actually quite logical when you’re being outmanned), and we didn’t gave up (sometimes we won, sometimes they won). Basically what I’m trying to say is that everyone blobs, everyone runs away once in a while (except [Fry] from Seafarer’s; you guys rush into a zerg with 5 men) and ‘skill-wise’ I would say Desolation and Seafarer’s are about equal. Please just be polite and enjoy the game.

Tbh people shouldn’t complain about blobbing.. Besides SFR (when everyone was still there) everyone blobbed the bleep out of eachother. ER, amazing how you hold your own against Vizunah! Vizunah, you got some great guilds (and pugs of course) and whatever anyone says you guys deserve respect for being in tier 1 since the beginning.

I wanted to ask if the new dye packs are actually permanent in the gemstore or for a limited time; I’m asking this because it doesn’t say ‘Available for a limited time only.’ when you hover over it.

Dear players/developers,

I know the answer is probably no, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t ask it: are there any plans to make transfers to other servers (including high populated servers) free for a limited time? The reason why I’m asking this is to prevent me smashing my head on the keyboard because it became free/cheaper the day after I transferred.

SFR player here; okay so maybe Vizunah does extremely well during night time (maybe they do got Canadians maybe they don’t), they still beat both servers during our ‘primetime’. I have nothing but respect for VS, last week SFR was like 40-50k point in front of VS and they managed to even the scores, they even got in front (even though we won in the end). This week VS was clearly the better one, people from SFR and BT should stop complaining and just play the game because it won’t solve ANYTHING…

In my opinion this is just wrong; many like me bought the other 3 mini pets you weren’t supposed to create, and now they’re messing with us by giving us 250 more cogs. I demand a refund, either 350 gems or my gold back because this is just inappropriate.

I think it would be a great idea to make the Mad Memoires backpieces Account Bound instead of the way it is now, Soulbound.

For example I made a new character, which I decided to be my main characters; the current system won’t allow me to equip these amazing backpieces. They’re about the coolest backpieces in the game, so it would be really cool if we actually got the opportunity to equip it on multiple characters.

So to keep it short, make the Mad Memoires Account Bound.

I mean, why I should pay 10x more than 2 month ago to increase my new character inventory space ? I have now to do more grinding …
I’m a casual gamer and I don’t have this extra time which was not required at the beginning.

… I have a friend who started to play the game 2 weeks ago. He do not have enough in-game currency for gems conversion. Have to use the mailing system, sending email to my account for ‘’extra storage’’ space. This is ridiculous.
The game is now harder (general items storage) for newcomer & casual player.

Edited Note : Makeover kit , pet or costume don’t affect the actual gameplay … Inventory space : YES !

Or you just buy 20 slot bags for multiple characters, that way you don’t have to buy gems… Really gems are OPTIONAL, if you don’t like the price just don’t buy them. It would be weird if prices didn’t go up since everyone gets more money over time, if you really want gems go farm stuff but STOP COMPLAINING (this is not only vs you but to all the whiners), it’s like the legendaries; everyone complains about the prices because they can’t get it all in a few hours of playtime.

My pc has been broke for about 3 weeks now so I couldn’t get into fotm. I know there are levels increasing the difficulty but my question is: will I be able to join pugs when I’m still on fotm lvl 1 (assuming they’re on higher lvls). If not, are people still running lvl 1-10 frequently?

Already a big thanks to the people that spend their time to help me out.

I have seen the forum post from anet addressing they are aware of the pre cursors etc etc. But it isnt the pre cursors that are the problem… Its the lodestones and ecto’s They are too hard to get and too expensive.

In my opinion the only problem are the lodestones (especially the charged lodestones since they’re required in a lot of cool items). Ectos on the other hand are easy to obtain.

I was wondering the following: will I be able to create halloween recipes after the halloween event if I got all the required materials? I want to have the recipe to make the permanent halloween shield but I currently have no money left to buy the materials for it (the 40x elonian wines).

I usually get kitten when I go to sleep (winning) and wake up (losing), this is just something we (Far Shiverpeaks) got to deal with. RUIN definitely carried Desolation to tier 2 but the ‘smaller’ guilds also worked hard to archieve this, I think RUIN couldn’t have done this without the smaller guilds, I even think RUIN needs the smaller guilds to function in this tier like they’re currently doing. Still, I think there isn’t a better WvWvW guild on any EU (international) server than RUIN, they got numbers, organization and they know what they are doing. I still think Far Shiverpeaks is the ‘better’ server during ‘EU-times’ but it’s pretty obvious Desolation will be the victor, good job! Maybe we’ll do better next week against you guys.

During night time Desolation is capping everything, during day time they’re really really bad.. (Not pointing at RUIN since they can’t run a whole server by themselves) Since 9:30 am (GMT+2) Far Shiverpeaks had +300-400 all day while Desolation had 180-190. Kodash is doing fairly well, didn’t really expect that.

We, Far Shiverpeaks, are indeed better WvWvW players than both Vizunah and Desolation but with the late-night capping I don’t think we will ever stand a chance against Vizunah.. When I logged on this morning (~2 hours ago) Vizunah had control of everything but two supply camps.
